I can't rave enough about the Value Pet Clinic in Bellevue. I noticed my 10 year old kitty was getting sick a few months back and I brought her here. My cat was treated just as I was hoping and the vet would take time to send me detailed emails on my cats condition and treatment. Whenever my cat and I went in the staff was amazing and told me how much they loved my cat. My cat passed away not too long ago. It was a hard time but the clinic sent me her paw print and a sweet card. We were taken care of and they were so understanding of what my cat and I were going through. I felt we received the absolute best care and the vet really did everything possible to keep my kitty girl comfy during her last few months. We recently added a new kitten to our family and will go nowhere else for his care! Thank you Value Pet Clinic! Read Less

A great lower cost vet option for general vet care. I've heard some vets here have better bedside manners than others. Our vet was really kind and friendly, and good with our skittish newly adopted dog. The dog hadn't been to a vet before. He was vaccinated there, and eventually neutered and some teeth pulled. The vet even threw in a free flea/heart-worm treatment. We needed to have his vaccination records faxed last minute to a kennel (long story) and the office staff sent it practically the minute I hung up.Not sure I would take a pet "in crisis" here, but it's a good lower-cost option for low-risk health concerns, like vaccines, deworming, spay/neutering, teeth cleanings, pedicures, rashes, etc. Kind of like an urgent care or a pediatrician office for an otherwise healthy kid - emergencies should be handled by the pet ER, and systemic health issues are better managed by one consistent vet.We continue to see Dr Wallingford at the Cat and Dog Clinic of Bellevue mostly because of our senior heart patient doggies (and because she is awesome). They have all our records and have established relationships with our sweeties. But I'm grateful to have a really good second option (with lower fees) if needed. We were recommended to Value Pet by a friend that runs a large pet rescue group. They do high-volume business with Value Pet, and are happy with their prices, and concern for low cost medical attention for foster dogs hoping for a home. Read Less

Horrible place. There was a free check up for new client so i made appointment and went there. Vet was with us for less then 5min, seems in hurry and not open to the questions. After that another worker brought me bill and it showed almost $600 bill. I've got frustrated and told them I'm not willing to pay it, then she left the room and came back by saying "sorry, that bill actually belongs to other cat", which was so weird and unprofessional.Vet prescribed me prescription which was hsrd to find. Also, it took 30-45min to wait until they brought prescription. Also, there was a time I've called clinic to ask where and how to find mate for my kitty,Person who answered phone responded rudely. I understand you guys want to neutralize all poor cats, and they become no more cat, they get fat and heavy because of their inactive life. Would you be happy if somebody neutralizes you? Stay away from  Dr Knasiak! He's the absolute WORST vet I've ever encountered! His bedside manner is nonexistent. He's sarcastic, condescending, rude and does not seem to care about my cat at all. I've been to this place 3 times for my kitty. First time was for neutering. The second time I returned was for a urine issue my cat was having, he appeared to be in pain and yowled every time he urinated. had a different Dr this time and he was very nice. He convinced me to do a urinalysis which came back clean and normal. He wrote it off as a behavioral issue and sent me home with sedatives. 3 weeks later, there was no change. I brought him back asking to see the same vet as before and they said he wasn't in, so with my bad luck I ended up with  Dr Knasiak. very rude, cold and condescending to me. He told me that he thinks my cat has a mucus blockage and wanted to do another urinalysis and kept pushing for it. I'm on a tight budget, so it was hard for me to do the first UA and because the first one came out fine and my cat was displaying the same symptoms as before, I didn't see how taking another UA test would make any difference. He got very frustrated with me and left to give me an estimate. The vet assistant came back with my estimate and I asked her a few questions that she wasn't sure of so she went to ask  Dr Knasiak.Keep in mind employees at Value Pet Clinic if you're reading this... Those doors are VERY thin and I can hear everything you say behind it loud and clear!I hear the vet assistant ask him the same questions I asked her and  Dr Knasiak replies in a frustrated tone "I JUST explained that to her! Why is she asking you!?" And the vet assistant said "um ok, do you want to go talk to her?" And  Dr Knasiak goes "AGAIN!? Ugh!!!".I was appalled. I honestly didn't remember him explaining anything to me or maybe he did and I didn't understand. He came back in and talked very slowly to me in that condescending tone. Kept pushing the UA on me and I was still hesitant about doing it. He then shrugged his shoulders and threw his hands in the air and in a frustrated tone very loudly said "well I don't know what you want me to do then!" I was shocked and I said "I WANT you to help me!" And he goes "I am trying to help you but you're not letting me!" I asked him what my other options were and he hesitantly told me that he can give me antibiotics and sarcastically said they won't work and I'll be back in 3 days.I left with my antibiotics and over a $100 vet bill.I consulted another vet and she was extremely helpful! Unfortunately she was too far for me to see her. She said to try the antibiotics for 7 days, told me what warning signs to look for and when to take him to see a vet. It's been 3-4 weeks since that awful experience and my cat was on the antibiotics for 1 week. He's completely fine now. I will NOT be returning to Value Pet Clinic. The first vet was nice but I will not be returning as long as Dr Knasiak is working there. Read Less

Their front office staff has always been great. I only take my dog here for simple things, like to update vaccines. However, went in earlier this month for an actual exam. I was horrified by the service I received by the actual veterinarian. He was abrasive, condescending, argumentative, and acted like he was afraid of my dog (a 25 lbs shih-tzu mix- very non-threatening). Um..isn't it part of your job to actually like and be comfortable around animals? Hands down, a disappointing experience. If my dog does go in again, we will stick to just vaccines, so that we don't have to deal with that unfriendly man again. Hopefully, a tech will just be able to do it. They are much nicer. I'm quite surprised by all the positive feedback for Value Pet Clinic when i'm about to leave a negative one. My experience with this place happened a year ago but i recently found my vet bills and looked over them, which triggered the thought of writing a review because this is one of the worst vet clinics i have ever been to. It scared my dog so badly, she now fears going to the vets even tho she was never fearful before of them. The staff could of changed, the place could have lowered their prices, the service could of gotten better, i don't know but this is how my experience happened with my puppy. My dog was in need of a checkup and a future spaying and my regular vet was too expensive at the time. So i decided to take a trip to Value. The waiting time was not a problem for me and my pooch but it started turning south when one of the vets went to weigh my dog. She said my dog was 9lbs and that she was "Overweight". I looked at her and said "She's suppose to be 9 pounds" she is a Miniature Pinscher, females can range from 8-9 and males 9-10lbs. I started to get a funny feeling about this place the moment the lady told me my dog was "overweight". After she weighted her, she told me to wait a bit longer to get a room. This place ain't too big although the waiting room is very open, so we waited some more. Finally when we were let in, the vet assistant started touching my dog in places which made her extremely uncomfortable. I have NEVER in my life seen a vet assistant mishandle my dog before and i kept telling her "She's getting frantic". My dog was feeling extremely uncomfortable and started to panic by peeing all over the place. Which is a fairly common reaction in small breeds. The assistant started to call for another assistant and i started to feel extremely stressed with multiple people in the small room with me and my dog. My dog after that began not trusting anyone and so with 2 people holding her down, tried to touch her some more. But things turned bad and my dog let out a really big squeal. I have again NEVER heard my dog scream like that before and was at this point ready to just leave. Then it happened, she started biting after the assistant went to grab her neck and at the time what seemed like her mouth but i am honestly foggy with what went down because it happened all too quickly. But the two assistants didn't muzzle her and tried to touch her again. At this point i was almost crying because she has NEVER bitten anyone before and was a very calm dog that never caused a problem. When it was finally over, the main vet came out and said she was in good health and gave me a quote of shots and spaying prices. I then asked her why it said "overweight" on my paper. She then went to tell me that they deemed my dog overweight & that it would cost an extra 35 dollars. SHE WAS NOT OVERWEIGHT. I believe this is a scam to get you to pay more for your service because i kept notifying her that my paperwork from my previous vet had said in their reports, that she was of healthy weight and that 9lbs was normal size for the breed. But she didn't listen to me. She said they wouldn't lower it and will see me again in the future. I never came back.1 year later & what I've gained from this is that my dog has changed her personality since going to Value Pet Clinic. She was mishandled by novice people & is now more fearful and skittish. I would of given this place 2 stars because it seemed decent had it not been for poor staff. Prices are somewhat high too for being a value clinic. I later went and had my dog spayed at the Humane Society instead for way less and better handling of my loved one. I dont recommend this place to anyone. Stick with your regular vets if you trust in quality over money. Read Less

I've had pets before and I always take them to banfield and buy the wellness plan. I get stuck paying $40 a month for a year for the wellness plan which covers all their vaccines and spay/neuter. She had a healed abscess on the other side, and we were concerned about infection as well. He went in at about 10:30am on a Friday and was seen by Dr. Mulder. For less than $200 our Pom was given all her shots (she had come up due two weeks prior to her visit), a basic exam, an anal sac expression, antibiotics, and a steroid for the swelling. 1000 times better overall service and price than that of our last veterinary clinic (Banfield). Two and a half years ago, my Pomeranian had one of her anal glands flare up and abscess.  I took her to Banfield in Woodinville, and after the office visit, an attempt at expression, and one medication I walked out the door $280 poorer.A few days ago, her butt swelled up again and I did a bit of hunting around before landing on Value Pet Clinic.  Took her in and told them what I needed:  My little dog needed some Clavamox antibiotics to help with her upset rear end, and they didn't ask any questions.  They actually went right into what I came in for.  When I asked about vaccinations, they gave me a quote. Here's the tally:Free Exam (I signed up online)Abscess ExpressionAbscess Infusion (to reduce swelling)Rabies vaxBordatella vaxDHPP vaxAntibioticsAnti-Swelling medication$169, 2 bucks under the initial quote they gave me.So that math again, is that one antibiotic, failed expression and office visit at Banfield Woodinville runs you $280.  All of that stuff I listed above -- 8 items total -- runs you over 100 bucks less at Value Pet Clinic. Thanks to Dr. Mulder and her techs for helping me out this morning!  I'll be back many, many times in the future. I've been to this clinic with my cats several times for routine visits, and most recently for an issue with my elderly cat.  The office is first come, first served, so get there early if at all possible.  As for the "value," in my experience, their prices have been pretty competitive.  They're certainly less expensive  than Cats Exclusive, but I'm not sure how their prices differ from a mom and pop-type vet clinic.Every time I've gone in, both the front staff and back office staff have been great.  I spent quite a lot of time there with my elderly cat this fall/winter.  My cat required multiple follow-up visits; the vet was very compassionate and also very considerate when it came to charging me per visit.  Most of these visits were wound checks/bandage changes, and they didn't nickel-and-dime me to death with charges.  Sadly, that kitty passed away after Christmas,  I was able to care of cremation services through Value Pet Clinic, and I also received a very sweet card that was signed by the entire staff.  Highly recommended for value, professionalism and the care given to your pet. :) Read Less

I spoke to the receptionist a few times on call because I had a lot of questions and concerns since this was our first time getting a dog spayed. They answered it all and when we were satisfied we decided to get an appointment for the surgery. I called a day before the surgery and they told me that I didn't have an appointment but quickly had me in for the next day, I was a little skeptical here but decided to go with it. We reached at 7am and they quickly got all the information from us and our baby was sent in. I got a call around noon and had an update about her and how she was doing and then same day we picked her up around 2 pm. We came home satisfied and the puppy seemed to be doing well. After a week she had an infection and some discharge and I called the clinic again and they asked to bring her in and offered a complementary check up since it was post surgery. I met Dr. K and while it seemed like he was a little hesitant to hold her down  since she is a big dog, he really did do a great job in calming her down. He explained everything in depth and the symptoms that we need to look for. In a week, she was absolutely fine and a happy dog again  and i got a call from the clinic and the doctor to check up on her health :)This place is economical and they really do a good job! Read Less

Not really happy with a lot that went on here. Came in, was told that it would be a few minutes after check in, and it was (which was ok). Then we were taken into the room, and it was about an hour or so when one lady came in, and told us she would be right back, which she was and then disappeared again for almost an hour after going to talk to a doctor, when another gal came in (Jessica was awesome and quick thankfully!). They said we would get results for a UI on Saturday and we were gone. I called to ask on Saturday, and they had no idea and said it hadn't been taken care of. Then I got a call Monday asking how my cat was. I told her I didn't know, because they hadn't given us the results yet and we really wanted to know. It is now Wednesday afternoon, and the results for the what the receptionist said was a "possible bladder infection that we consider an emergency" FINALLY are given to me. The doctor seemed nice from my short conversation on the phone with her at least. Also, it was kind of weird that on Monday when I was called, I asked the lady on the phone if they had gotten the results, and she said she couldn't tell me over the phone for some liability thing or whatever, but when the doctor called she was able to leave a message on my phone? I don't have a problem with it being left in message at all, but it was strange being told one thing and then another happening. SO, in short, the "possible emergency" took 5 days to get an answer, my cat is still not feeling great, and Im frustrated. We finally have a "prescription diet" at least. We won't be coming back here, and will be going to Banifield in PetSmart from now on (they had results for the same test in about 5 mins when I went there a couple of years ago, it was just further away from us and thought we would give them a try). We were in there 10 mintues and were taken back to get our exam. It turned out yes the nail needed to come off so I had to leave him there because he would need to be sedated and monitored. I came back as told a few hrs later and he was happy and ready to go.The price for it was very very reasonable. Anywhere else would have been double maybe even triple the price. Rabies shot was $15 I called other places and they wanted $20-30!! These prices are great!! Read Less

Read Less

Read Less

Read Less

My husband took my small Pomeranian in because she had suddenly developed swelling on one of her anal sacs. We knew it would abscess, and that it needed to be drained before it opened. They even called the next day to check up on our dog to make sure everything still looked okay.I will definitely return for BOTH of our dogs' health needs, and will recommend this clinic to my pet-owner friends. Just had our Giant breed dog spayed. The vet we had been going to, quoted $635 for the spay. Value pet quoted $185!  When they examined her, they found she had an umbilical hernia that needed to be surgically fixed. They took care of it and all for less than the other vet quoted just for the spay!!!  I think they will be my new vet!!!  The staff was very nice and helpful!  when I picked the dog up from surgery I had my 1yr old daughter with me, and they helped me out to the car and helped me get the dog upIn my truck. Horrible horrible horrible don't take any animal here!!!! They can't do their jobs right. They might be friendly but that's it! They couldn't figure out how to get blood from my cat and made him suffer through it twice then broke the vile of blood and had the nerve to ask me to bring him in again the next day! I said no but of course they charged me for everything anyways! They wouldn't give me any results and made me sit on hold for over 15 mins to say the doctor will call me in another 15 mins so 40 mins later I have to call them again and said I need my results for the half of the blood work you got from my animal. Just for them to tell me they didn't find anything and to come in again! Go to redmond kirkland animal hospital instead they take tons of time to listen to you and help your animal. I will never go to value pet clinic again and you shouldn't either! The doctor didn't even seem to understand what to do. They made us wait in the room for over an hour to even get the doctor in there, then another hour an a half for everything else. They aren't timidly or knowledgeable. The doctor that talked to me on the phone the next day seemed more knowledgeable but of course she wasn't working when we needed help.

We had to get our german shepherd spayed and our current vet quoted a bit too high than we expected so we were looking for alternatives and found Value Pet Clinic.

Amazing vet did a great job with my dog! Def will be using them as my vet!My dog had a torn toe nail exposing his quick. He didn't want to put weight on his foot. He also needed his rabies shot. Read Less
