My little boy Sam was attacked by another dog while hiking and got an infection from it. I brought him here and they took care of him and he make a full recovery! The front desk ladies, the finance lady and the vet, Sarah Mantovani were all awesome, knowledgeable and professional. Sam was so dramatic but they were able to give him proper care and I really appreciate them. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of a vet tech named Deanna Knight. She's not very friendly, and doesn't seem like she even likes her job. The worst part was when I brought him in for her to check the drain they put in his neck to drain the infection, he panicked like I've never seen him before. He would have chewed off his own leg to get away from her. I don't know what goes on behind closed doors, but its hard for me to trust someone when my dog freaks just at the sight of her. Other than that, I'll just bring him in, on her days off in the future. I'm not going to let that ruin this place for me because it's a really awesome facility and its such a blessing that they let me fill out a promissory note. Much love to you guys ❤❤ Read Less

I usually don't write reviews but my experience here was terrible and I want to make sure no one else goes through this. I brought my dog in for a check up and vaccines, he's a pretty big guy around 90 pounds. The nurse was a complete snot, she refused to even do vitals on him saying he just has an "aggressive look" about him. My dog is the biggest pansy, he is afraid of his own shadows. She refused to listen to me when I tried telling her he's a big baby and when she went and got the Vet the Vet then came in and was standoffish because her nurse told her my dog was aggressive. They not only judged my dog by the way he looks but also made it super uncomfortable and let the whole lobby know my dog was "aggressive" and would need at least 3 peoples help to get his shots done if they could even do them on him with how he looked. The vet did come back in at the end when they were doing his shots and said "Oh my gosh he is a really sweet dog, he's so good" But by the end of my visit I was just annoyed. You shouldn't discriminate against a dog because of how he looks, I get big dogs re scary and you should be cautious but that does not give you the right to be rude. I will be finding a new vet and telling everyone they should do the same. The front desk lady was the only good thing about this place, she was sweet. Read Less

Completely upset at this facility. My wife brought our cat in for an exam. She was pressured into getting multiple vaccines for our indoor only cat. Later that night he whined each time he took a breathe and was in too much pain to eat, drink or be touched. So we brought him back in the morning since the wife ended up getting the care insurance. The Vet said that it was due to the vaccines given and that he did not even need them. Then gave me a bill for over a hundred for trying to lower down his fever. I will admit the vet that we worked with last was good at her job, I wish she was the first one that we got and none of this would have happened. Out money, time and now I have to cancel the insurance subscription. Never trust any company that wont make up for their mistakes! Read Less

Malpractice! I had the worst experience at the VCA Silver Lake Animal Hospital.  A week ago, my dog was really not feeling well so I took him into the vet.  They told me they would like to take x-rays to see what was going on, and quoted me a total of around $500 to do so.  After waiting an hour for the x-rays, the vet brings me into the room to show me the x-rays.  She’s flipping around between four different x-rays trying to point out the different organs.  He was very bloated, so we knew there was a problem in his abdomen.  She didn’t know what she was looking at, and said, “Well maybe this is the spleen, and the liver right here, but I’m not 100% sure.  It’s kind of fuzzy” She had no idea what she was looking at, and gave me appetite stimulant pills for him and said she would get back to me the next day once she sends the x-rays out to be read by a third party.  They also “forgot” to add on some fluids, so my final bill came out to just under $606!  The pills did not work at all, and my dog couldn’t walk within 8 hours of me leaving the vet.  I took him to another vet for a second opinion.  They pulled new x-rays in 5 minutes, and the doctor said that he had a clear case of Gastric Dilation-Volvulus.  He was so far in shock that we had to put him down.  If VCA would have gotten the prognosis correct, I would have likely had time to get him into emergency surgery and save his life!  By missing such a common ailment in big dogs, VCA robbed me of having the opportunity to save my best friend.  And to make matters worse, they wont even give me my money back! I overpaid for a missed prognosis that killed my dog.  If you love your animal, steer way clear of VCA. Not professional at all. Read Less

We thought we were going to have to put our 17 year old cat down. It was a decision that was really difficult for us to have to make. This clinic lacked compassion or understanding. Made my husband feel like a murderer, as he is crying, trying to decide if this is the right thing to do. If you work at a vet, I am sure you are people who kill animals bc they are tired of them, probably see others who have to decide between paying bills & saving their animals life, and others who have just come to the end of the line with their animal. My point is, you are not judge & jury. You have no idea what the circumstance is, so keep your crass & condenscending tone & behavior for break time. Completely inappropriate. The techs act like they don't want to be there. $450 later and they STILL DONT KNOW WHATS WRONG. Vet stated she wanted a fecal sample and that there would be no charge for it. I went by today to drop it off and they stated it was going to be $71 and tried to give me an excuse why they all of a sudden wanted to charge for it. I don't think so. My aunts vet literally 3 miles away charges HALF the price for the same services and the staff acts like they want to be there. Will NOT be going back period. I had a voucher and this was the closest clinic on the list. I felt judged as soon as their lead tech walked in the room. She stated in a. Very snotty way how I have a family...saying " oh look at the family...look at the family in here....and with a small dog...you know small dogs don't like children" My dog gets along just fine with my 3 children. She kept giving me a disapproving look the whole time. Then I got the bill for 450 saying I need everything under the sun. The doctor was nice but I don't think they were really concerned just there to bill. Going elsewhere for my new dogs clinic. Read Less

Save your time and money from going to this S****y place. Costumer service is not their strong suit. Had to wait 2 WEEKS for ME to call to find out what was wrong. Then they tried to tell me they spoke to my wife 4 times about the results which was a load of Bull. They called once to say they were waiting on a few more results and the other 3 times my wife had to call but still got no answers. Just horrible service and will never go here again.Read Less

While I can't speak to quality, per se, the prices here are completely unacceptable. I used to go to a vet in Renton before getting married and moving to Everett. My husband used this vet clinic until I saw a bill. This vet office charged DOUBLE what my old vet charged for annual checkups/vaccinations. They also pushed extra unnecessary tests. We are now looking for a new vet and will not be coming back. Read Less
