This place is horrible! I came in today at 11:30am to get my 10 week old puppy checked. All I needed was for her to get all her vaccinations. Since she got diarrhea from changing her food, they asked to step outside because she’s highly contagious. I kept going inside to check if my puppy was next and that rude receptionist kept telling me no we are going to let you know. Patients kept going in and out. She’s still said nothing and even got an attitude when I went to ask. I finally left at 2pm because they still didn’t know when we were next. They wasted my time!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to find a cheaper place to get my dog euthanized because she was ill and old. I called everywhere and they were all expensive because she was a big dog and I wanted to get her remains back. I found this place and I'm so glad I did, they are affordable and are compassionate about your feelings and gave us as much time as we needed during this time and didn't give me a bad time about everything. My small breed dog had puppies and unfortunately one passed away. I called 2 other vets and the humane society to see how much it would be to take her in for a group cremation. I was quoted $70, $60, and $25. When I called vets for less they asked me the size of the puppy and if I was a client there. I had taken my shih tzu and my bichon maltese there for many years. After I told her it was a small breed puppy and that yes I'm a client she informed me of their group cremation option. With the puppy being so small she said they would not charge me to include the pup in it. I was so relieved. I just wanted to make sure the puppy was taken care of properly. This place has been amazing to my animals! They've never misdiagnosed anything and are always helpful with cheaper alternatives as well. Great dental once again! We bring our male chihuahua every year at Christmastime to get his teeth done, plus a nail trim. When it's 25%, why wouldn't we?!? The staff are lovely, my dog's teeth look great and I get to tromp around Federal Way while I wait (since I live in Bremerton). I heard about this particular location from local animal rescues - but only the Federal Way location, not Tacoma. The care that your pet receives here is excellent! The staff are super friendly and very attentive to my dogs! I travel all the way from Port Orchard to get care from Vets for Less!! I brought my dachshund in for a routine spay with the intention of establishing her a full service vet later, but they were so attentive and gave her such great care that I decided to keep them as her regular vet (her current needs are routine and low-level anyway). I've had four animals go through here and I've never had the customer service that I've had today I will not be bringing any of my animals back they overcharged misdiagnosed and find any way they can to get money out of you. Several months ago I brought a cat that I saved from outside in and they diagnosed her with supposedly mites gave me some wash to put her ears and some nausea medication and some flea medication and no ear mite medication and now they are diagnosing her with a yeast infection (how can that be different than mites -a doctor there must not know what the heck they are doing) and they we're going to charge me another $100 and another ear swap which is ridiculous because they told me last time that all I need to do is bring her in next time and get her ears flushed and that was it and then I wouldn't have to pay for another ear swab well they gave me the free ear swab today because it was their mistake which I shouldn't have to fix. Then they were going to charge me $35 for a microchip but I can get it for $25 at the Humane Society then they're going to charge me $85 for a stupid ear wash when she was already under anesthesia for surgery. I asked her to help me out because they have given me a military discount before especially since I've had so many animals go through there and they've given me a military discount on Wickett and now they can't even help me out when I'm saving a cat Wild. Then they try to tell me to apply for a credit card. these people are ridiculous they are a money-grubbing corporate greedy hungry establishment. They just now lost four more clients and thousands of dollars because I will no longer be bringing my animals in this Clinic good going guys. Great service!!! NOT oh and I didn't get a call til 245 pm that my cat was going to surgery. I dropped her off at 830 am and had to call them to find out what's going on at 2pm.Read Less

Well, I'm sure the care is fine from what I can tell. I'm just bringing my dog in to get her teeth cleaned as my regular vet in Seattle charges a mortgage payment for the same thing. Anyway, I scheduled an "appointment" at 8am today and it is currently 12:15 pm and I'm waiting in my car for the call to picker her up - a call that I'm not even sure is coming anymore . I think it's just bad practice. Schedule the animas when they are going to be seen, it's just so simple. Most people don't have time to dick around all day until you call them. I'm tired and pregnant and I just want to go back home to Seattle but I have to wait here until this simple and quick dental cleaning gets done. If they weren't going to get to her until later then my "appointment" should have been later. I do feel that tithe receptionists were very nice to me and explained everything thoroughly.Read Less

My very first time to Vets for Less Very affordable service . I have been seeing a different vet for over 8 years and have been happy, but my dog had to have surgery and it was quoited to be about $ 3,400 she needed to get it done if she was going to continue walking and not being in pain.,we had no option. Both of my sisters have gone to Vets for Less for years but I was happy with our vet. I made an appointment with Vets for Less and was then told they could do it for about 1/2 the price. We set it up for the next day. Oh my gosh they are awesome.. Dr. Barringham did the surgery and he was wonderful. Took very special care of us. This is my vet from now on . All their service's are so much more reasonable than I have been able to get them for in the past. I had to do the unthinkable today.... put down my cat. I won't get into details but she was a danger to others, so it had to be done. I've never ever had to do anything like this to someone who I consider a member of my family. The vets for less staff were so compassionate and helpful every step of the way... from my phone call asking about it, to my check in, to allowing me to pay in advance because once it was done, I was heartbroken. Just recently got a new puppy! I called vets for less to see how much it would cost for all of the vaccinations and I almost cried tears of joy because of how cheap it was. For all of the vaccination appointments PLUS a microchip the total only came up to $118!! I am so pleased with this price! I took my chiweenie here for shots and he had a horrible reaction, twice. I took him to another clinic after and said that the vet gave too many shots at once for our little guy. The vet was uncaring and cold. Waste of time and money. The money I would have saved here I spent twice as much having to get a second opinion. When my cat's mouth swelled up, I immediately tried to make an appointment with her normal vet, but they didn't have time to see her. So I called Vets for less, who told me to come in right away. They were able to figure out what was wrong with her and she ended up having to have all her teeth pulled out. If I would have gone to her normal vet, I would have paid probably $2500-$3000 more than I paid at Vets for less. Most importantly my kitty is feeling so much better. Its been 2 years and her mouth is no longer bothering her. I now take my other 2 kitties to Vets for less for their dental cleanings and they do a really great job. If you're worried about wait times make an appointment for first thing in the morning; I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Read Less
