Dr. Hoffman bought this practice in 2022. He is a very experienced, skilled, dedicated and compassionate. His stitches are plastic surgeon worthy!
He truly cares and takes the time to explain. Instead of the quick your cat has a heart murmur and could drop dead. This came from my vet since 2006 and two of their doctors.The information I needed was so much more. Dr. Hoffman provide the knowledge I needed and validated what I had seen in the past.
You can probably tell I have several cats. Currently my senior is very ill. Dr. Hoffman and Frances did not give up when he was in surgery and they did not find the source. They kept on looking and found the problem. (Just an FYI, they are well aware I would pay anything and everything to make Morris well. Calling for approval was not needed. Also I am a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner. We understand each other) GOD willing no cancer and he is on his way to being well. I am so grateful.
Since I have outed myself as a medical provider, I will finish with my greatest compliment and recommendation. Dr. Hoffman and his entire clinic practices the way I did. I walked patients in all the time, skipped lunch, took messages after hours. I did not want my patients in the ER if I could help it. They are the same!
So change your veterinarian or start care here. I did after over 20 years with my past vets.

If you are looking for a fancy vet office, then this one is not for you. He also calls us when we leave messages regarding any changes in her health. I have had horses, cows, dogs, cats, pigs, etc. etc. and he is without a doubt the best vet I have ever had. Dr. Kirby is very knowledgeable and caring of the animals he treats. He's smart and works to find the problem. Not always easy on the purse, but you have to pay for experience, and he has a business to run. Animals don't talk, so sometimes guessing is necessary until you find the problem. He saved my dog from near death from a mystery disease. He didn't quit, kept me abreast of what was going on while he had my dog in his care and followed through until he saved her. I TOTALLY trust him and he has patients (my doggy and I) for as long as necessary.

We had our dogs examined at another local vet a month ago, but were unhappy with the service. They both had exams and were found to be good health. We now wanted to change vets, and were told it would be an additional $126 for our two dogs, for yet another routine exam (on top of the cost of getting their nails trimmed). I'm in the health care industry myself, and I see this as nothing more than a scam. I guess we will stick with the vet we're not totally satisfied with.

We had our dogs examined at another local vet a month ago, but were unhappy with the service. They both had exams and were found to be good health.
