Recently we moved to the eastside, Issaquah Highlands. My vet whom I always had exceptional, honest service, and quality care was now 35 miles away now. I chose this vet based on location and for the most part had decent reviews, although there were several that caught my eye, I decided to try it out. Upon arriving I was not greeted warmly, cold and short. But it was the Monday after the holidays so figured they weren't to happy to be back at the office. After filling out new client paperwork I was escorted to a room, I thought "wow quick", that's great. Then the wait began, I was in a white plain room for 25min where the walls are paper thin and I could hear everything going on. 35 min.approaches which feels like eternity, the vet popped her head in quickly and said they will be right with me... another 10 min goes by when she finally comes back in. The appointment itself took about 10 min. She talked a million words per min about every vaccine my 10yr dog needed, I quickly told them she doesn't get boarded, she doesn't go outside and she is an elderly in-door small dog whom my vet always was conservative and didn't do unnecessary treatment nor vaccines. She said ok, and again talked so fast and seemed rushed, and talked again about unnecessary treatment. she didn't seem to be there to truly take care of me andy dogs needs. With my old vet, he took his time, he cared, and it showed. This place is all about the dollar amount, quantity not quality. When the vet tech came in she said she would take my dog to the back and do the vaccines. I immediately had a problem with this, I have never in 10yrs had my dog removed from the room to do shots without me present. I said, I wanted them to do in front of me in the room. Overall my experience wasn't good, it was cold, non caring, all about money right down to charging client for disposal of syringe....that's absurb! sharps is not a cost that should go to client's, it's the overhead cost of a practice. Also they have a "free" exam first time client which it seems they weren't going to bring up or honor until I asked them after hearing a lady arguing about it with the front. It's a place you take your dog to if you don't care to have quality loving care of a family member. I will be traveling 40 min to go to my old vet who loves my dog and truly has great customer care.Read Less
