I love this place. The compassion is unreal! Dr. Van Noppen is so kind and understanding. My first visit was to put a rat down, and at the same time recieved saddening news about our dog. They have been so great at explaining, and comforting us over my dogs issues. The staff is super fun and friendly, they have affectionately nicknamed my dog potato. And I absolutely love it. Worth the drive from Everett.

I took my senior beloved cat to this Vet trying to figure out what was going on him. My cat was 17 yrs old and my best friend I loved him more then anything . They did various tests Xrays trying to figure out what was wrong with him . They wanted perform.a surgery on his abdomen which would have entailed cutting a 4 inch incision in him . I was shocked they wanted to that to a 17 yr old cat . That was the last time I went there . Juanita Vetinary is way better

Such a kind, friendly, understanding, patient, respectful, and thorough veterinary practice. Very happy I took my cat here!
Was referred to this place by a friend for a second opinion and learned they could do a dental procedure cheaper than the other vet I tried (though, of course, your mileage may vary). I was then impressed by their thorough understanding and explanation of my cat's problem during his examination. Plus, it was just right down the street from me, which helped quite a bit since my cat doesn't like car rides.
Great place, would highly recommend! Quite puzzled by the low reviewers since none of the people I interacted with there seemed rude or disrespectful at all, and my cost estimate was fairly accurate and detailed. I'll definitely keep going to this place for pet needs :)

Doc Wendy and her crew have helped us take care of our dog for over 12yrs through all sorts of challenging illnesses. The practice feels like a wonderful, loving family environment and Wendy and all of the staff make you feel like you are part of it. Not only did she help our sweet Maggie live the fullest life she could, Doc Wendy helped her and us go through the end of life process with love,care and dignity. We now have a brand new puppy and we would not consider taking her anywhere else but Critter Dr.

Doc Wendy, Holly, Kim and the rest of the staff at Critter Doc have cared for our pets for more than 15 years now. We trust them completely with the health of our cats going more than the extra mile to check in on them, even at 9pm. We know vet bills can sometimes be alarming but at Critter Doc treatments are always reviewed and managed based on need, we are never surprised and always kept well informed. I would always recommend Critter Doctor Animal Hospital to everyone, who are animal lovers and who values good local service given by caring and compassionate people.
Critter Doctor Animal Hospital offered flexible schedule, which allowed us to get an appointment right away because of our dog critical condition.
All services provided for my dog -including blood work and X-Rays, were appropriate for what my 4-leg friend needed immediately and the cost was fair.
Critter Doctor Animal Hospital never ceases to amaze me!

I have been taking my Cocker Spaniel to Critter Doctor for over 10 years. He has had numerous problems with his ears, as well as an auto-immune disease. Dr. Bernstein has taken the time to consult with other specialists and give me the best information and treatment. His auto immuse disorder is under control with minimum mediacation and all of the doctors there continue to help me deal with his ear problems through a special hydrolgized diet.

Took my new kitty into this 'vet' for standard vaccination and blood draw that they finangled out of me just to make money - scaring me into believing that I needed to test him for FIV when there was no reason to - he was completely healthy. They attempted to do a blood draw, with me waiting in the waiting area. I heard a baby shreiking, then realized it was my cat!! I ran into the surgery area and they had mr cat in some ugly looking hold while they attempted to get some blood out of the leg. After a quick discussion, I realized I didn't want the cat to suffer more. I told them to just give me the cat - I had had enough. They refused. I argued. They shoved me out of the door and then threw the cat at me. (can you believe this? It sounds like something out of a fiction novel but this is what happened.) I called the police, and they came. I declined, once they apologized, to file a charge of assault so as not to waste the police's time. I suffer from a disease which means that small assaults are very painful physically and can put me in the ER. They had no right to treat me like that, and obviously had no respect for the cat, regardless the owner.And that's why they call the pets "Critters" - this is not irony, people. Don't go here.

When a large lump suddenly appeared on my dog's hind leg, I took her to a vet in Redmond. The lump was aspirated, and the results showed spindle cell tumor. They gave me a quote for removal. It was expensive. My husband suggested we get another quote, we were definitely going to do the surgery - we love our dog.
Went to Critter Doctor for a quote, and ended up having the surgery there. I couldn't be happier.
Quote was 30% lower. Great. But this is what will keep us coming back: the surgery was unbelievably excellent. The doctor, Bernstein, was able to remove lump without going into the leg muscle. Our dog's recovery was phenomenally quick. And the incision was beautiful and healed in such a way that it doesn't show -- at all. I've been to worse dermatologists.
Bottom line: If you need a reliable surgeon, this is the place to go.

My wife and I adopted a 1 year old golden in July which came to us with a rash and almost hive like bumps. The staff and Vets at Critter Doctor have been great. They cleared up the initial rash quickly and started walking us through the different options as we sorted out his allergies all the while doing their best to keep our expenses down. My sister-in-law has also been taking her 13 year old lab here for her entire life and the staff has been wonderful with her as well. The vets have also been great about returning calls and questions that we have had along the way.

I love this place. The compassion is unreal! Dr. Van Noppen is so kind and understanding. My first visit was to put a rat down, and at the same time recieved saddening news about our dog. I have been taking my Cocker Spaniel to Critter Doctor for over 10 years. He has had numerous problems with his ears, as well as an auto-immune disease. Dr. Bernstein has taken the time to consult with other specialists and give me the best information and treatment. His auto immuse disorder is under control with minimum mediacation and all of the doctors there continue to help me deal with his ear problems through a special hydrolgized diet.

Doc Wendy and her staff , have been in "my fuzzy kid" family for years now. She is the ultimate in vet care ,imo. My animals do not shake when arriving at the Doc's place and actually consider her a very good friend to them. I consider her a very thought caring, loving woman, who absolutely cares. I wish I could donate a million dollars for what she has accomplished and her total humanity towards all animals .

Took my new kitty into this 'vet' for standard vaccination and blood draw that they finangled out of me just to make money - scaring me into believing that I needed to test him for FIV when there was no reason to - he was completely healthy. They attempted to do a blood draw, with me waiting in the waiting area. I heard a baby shreiking, then realized it was my cat!! I ran into the surgery area and they had mr cat in some ugly looking hold while they attempted to get some blood out of the leg. After a quick discussion, I realized I didn't want the cat to suffer more. I told them to just give me the cat - I had had enough. They refused. I argued. They shoved me out of the door and then threw the cat at me. (can you believe this? It sounds like something out of a fiction novel but this is what happened.) I called the police, and they came. I declined, once they apologized, to file a charge of assault so as not to waste the police's time. I suffer from a disease which means that small assaults are very painful physically and can put me in the ER. They had no right to treat me like that, and obviously had no respect for the cat, regardless the owner.And that's why they call the pets "Critters" - this is not irony, people. Don't go here.

When a large lump suddenly appeared on my dog's hind leg, I took her to a vet in Redmond. The lump was aspirated, and the results showed spindle cell tumor. They gave me a quote for removal. It was expensive. My husband suggested we get another quote, we were definitely going to do the surgery - we love our dog.
Went to Critter Doctor for a quote, and ended up having the surgery there. I couldn't be happier.
Quote was 30% lower. Great. But this is what will keep us coming back: the surgery was unbelievably excellent. The doctor, Bernstein, was able to remove lump without going into the leg muscle. Our dog's recovery was phenomenally quick. And the incision was beautiful and healed in such a way that it doesn't show -- at all. I've been to worse dermatologists.
Bottom line: If you need a reliable surgeon, this is the place to go.

My wife and I adopted a 1 year old golden in July which came to us with a rash and almost hive like bumps. The staff and Vets at Critter Doctor have been great. They cleared up the initial rash quickly and started walking us through the different options as we sorted out his allergies all the while doing their best to keep our expenses down. My sister-in-law has also been taking her 13 year old lab here for her entire life and the staff has been wonderful with her as well. The vets have also been great about returning calls and questions that we have had along the way.
