Medocre at best. Expensive prices for not great service. Wouldn't do all my dogs vaccinations at one time (due for two). So they want you to pay multiple office visits and the doctor didn't properly fully exam my dog, just listened to his heart .Tried dropping off a parastie test and receptionist was extremely rude and did not have ANY knowledge of the test. As having worked in the veterinary field for many years myself to working in microbiology and parasitology, they tried to tell me my dogs specimen was unstable for fecal examination; Full well knowing there are countless peer-reviewed literature about testing stability and handing instructions. The recptionist couldnt tell me any reason why or what testing they do. Entirely clueless and didn't even bother to ask coworkers for further information. Read Less

What a phenonmenal and loving group of caregivers for our pets to have. It is very obvious that Dr Iversons nbr one priority is helping you care for your pets. I can only imagine all the other vets there are as giving and kind as he. I have the most complete faith in putting both of my danes emergency and surgery needs in Dr Iverson's very skilled, experienced, and knowledgeable hands. When your Dr bursts back in to the exam room so excited about positive test results, you know you are in the right place, have the right team, and are doing everything humanly possible to take care of your four legged family member! Dr Roth truly cares about her patients and helped us through a worrisome time with our dog "Jax" who is almost back to his old self now. Thank you Dr Roth! We have been coming here for close to 30 years. We have gone elsewhere a couple times only due to circumstance and were left very disappointed with the provider but a greater appreciation for Evergreen Vet.. I highly recommend this team! I have been taking my pups here since 2002. I have always found the care to be top notch. They have become much busier in the past few years. I did have a complication with Bear after getting neutered. The problem came in quickly and the doc even called at home to check in on him. After about a week it resolved almost as fast as it came on. Just like the doc said. I take an active role in understanding thouroly my pets care. Good in, good out. I'm a raw feeder following a species specific diet. The difference in health is measurable. The doc has been very accommodating in working with our feeding to better understand raw feeders vs kibble, even high grade kibble. I do recommend Evergreen Vet Hospital. Read Less

We have taken our dogs to Evergreen Veterinary Hospital for over 20 years. Recently we had to bring our dog in to be euthanized. After he was sedated, my husband sat calmly with him saying goodbye when an employee barged in and demanded to know how he would pay for the bill. Really? After many years and thousands of dollars they couldn't wait until our pet passed away before worrying about their money? The veterinarian my cat saw was nice and seemed competent, but this clinic was about 40% more expensive for the exam + bloodwork than my last vet (Urban Animal in Capitol Hill) and I wasn't thrilled with the office's promptness or thoroughness in handling paperwork (I had to go back and forth with them several times to get the last vets paperwork in their system and was never provided a copy of the blood test results they ran). Dr. Roberts is fantastic! She comes out to you and talks to you like a human in terms you can understand. I've been going there for 6 months now since my baby was a puppy. Evergreen Vet is truly amazing place! They ran as a very hectic ER clinic for not being one. The prices are very fair and will not recommend something just for the heck of making money. They will try their best to work you in while accommodating to your schedule, even if they are booked solid for appts! Doctors are hard working, caring, and very intelligent (Dr Cullen, Dr Wilcock are my absolute favorite doctors here). I personally never had a chance to see Dr Iverson (who owns the practice) but he is an amazing and very intelligent veterinarian!There are some policies they have in effect such as not working with online pharmacies directly and leaving a possible contagious animal outside but all understandable. I just heard something that really bothered me. A person made a vet appointment for later this week. The owner stated the dog had a cough. The front office stated that the dog may carry a contagious airborne illness and asked the owner to LEAVE THE DOG IN THE CAR. The day of the appointment it is supposed to be 91F. Can you imagine if a child was ill and the pediatrician told the parents, "Please leave your sick child in the car and check in with us."? I am pretty sure a dog or a child in a hot car is breaking all kinds of laws. This is the most asinine and ridiculous thing I have ever heard from a doctor's office (albeit the doctor is a veterinarian). I think your front office needs some training. I think the office manager and the doctors need to be aware. In a perfect world the office should have an exam room ready and have the owner and dog use a separate entrance. Then test away and sterilize the exam room before the next patient uses that room or make the appointment the last one of the day. Shame on you Evergreen Veterinary Hospital. I am dying to know how you will resolve this issue.Read Less

I try to see Dr. Wilcock but when she isn't available, all of the other vets are excellent and I am happy with any of them. They have extended hours Monday through Thursday which is very convenient. We had to bring out cat in today and it turned out that he had a heart condition that only had a 20% chance of him recovering. We decided to put him down and the staff at Evergreen Veterinary Hospital were wonderful. They made everything really easy to understand and were extremely empathetic. Baxter, my 4 yr old Havanise, has been a patient of Colleen Roberts from the beginning. She is exceptional! Evergreen's fees are fair, and the facility is exceptional. Only challenge is that with some frequency the front desk experience of checking and in and out can take awhile. I don't think it's ineptitude on the part of the staff; the system probably needs some tweaking so the front desk staff don't need to accomplish so many tasks. Read Less

Warning!!! Do not go to this vet!!!My dogs have been patients for over 12 years... Something is going very wrong there now!#1 they prescribed medicine a APOQUEL to my friends puppy that could have caused neurological damage. This medicine clearly states that is not for pets UNDER 12 months her puppy is 3months old. They also misdiagnosed a rash when it was Mange! The mange has now gotten progressively worse! 3 vet visits and hundreds of dollars they never even diagnosed this. It took getting s second opinion to finally figure this out! This vet will not work with online pet meds and charges 3x the money for simple prescription flea medication.(revolution)When contacting them to inquire about the initial puppy visit and what was given they did not even record the type of meds. FRUSTRATED!! My friend and I have lost faith in their medical knowledge and their ability to put the pets first. They are disorganized, make deadly errors and have bad communication. Read Less

The vets were all very friendly, but they could have killed my 8 week-old puppy. Everyone there was young and sweet, but very inexperienced. They made countless mistakes which cost me the health of my pup and about $500. Medications were tossed out like candy; they were expensive, ineffective, and not for a puppy his age or size. All of the problems they caused/neglected were fixed by another vet in a completely different clinic in under $100, the same day that I called to make an appointment. This clinic also failed to document a lot of his chart notes, which left my new vet to piece together his medical records. Now my puppy safely rests in the hands of another, VERY experienced vet that gets me in immediately when my pup isn't feeling well. If you're considering this clinic, I would suggest you look elsewhere if you don't want to second-guess every move your vet makes. Read Less

I've been going to this vet for years and it's about time I left my review. Big shout out to this clinic!! My dog was nipped at the dog park and they were able to fit us in their busy schedule on a Saturday. While this isn't always possible they put forth every effort to help in this type of situation. The wound was deep enough that it needed medical attention sooner than later. I initially went to a different vet since we were over 45 min away when it happened. That vet said my dog needed to be sedated and given stitches, an estimate of over $400! I called this clinic and my pup was out of there in 30 min with 3 staples and antibiotics at under 1/2 the cost of what the other vet told me. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my pup!!Each of the Drs are wonderful! They truly care about what they do. Dr. Wilcock is my dogs favorite :) thanks for all u do!! Read Less

Prices are good. Had good experiences for the most part with the two younger female vets. I had a bad experience with the younger male vet - I had a scared sick cat in, and the 10 minute visit was interrupted 3 times by the vet tech to sign some paperwork for another animal, after all of which I got a diagnosis of "I don't see anything wrong".They also spayed my male cat - got him all opened up before realizing he was a boy. :(One vet tech in particular was always very dismissive and grouchy. Front desk staff makes you wait forever and a day - you always have to wait at least 15-20 minutes from your appointment time to get in, even when you are the first appointment of the day. Read Less

Hands down the most caring, loving and affordable Veterinary Hospital around. I refuse to take my pets to anyone other than Dr. Cullen. The entire staff is nothing short of amazing, always going above and beyond my expectations. They make sure I don't leave without all my questions and concerns being addressed and taken care of. Evergreen Veterinary Hospital has been the clinic I've taken all my pets to. They have consistently had the kindest employees and wonderful care. Dr. Cullen is my usual vet and she is nothing but the best. Her kind, caring, and understanding personality make her the best vet I've ever seen. She works so hard to leave me assured that my animals are in the best care. Dr. Roberts who is newer and Dr. Wilcock who are also vets at the practice are wonderful as well I have absolutely no complaints about the hospital at all! However, I get lots of guidance and feel reassured I'm pursuing the best option. They have treated all of my pets from my very first dog in 1977. I've taken my Aussie/Golden here previously and was pleased with the service. When I called about a mysterious eye infection my cat had developed they scheduled her promptly. We were seen on time, and Dr. Foster (I think that was her name, I'm hopeless with names) was delightfully efficient and pleasant. I have 8 dogs of varying breeds. This vet hospital is great. All the doctors and all the staff are quality doctors and people who really care. They have always cared for my dogs to the highest degree. I have also boarded my dogs there and they do a great job. They even give them a free bath before I pick them up! I like that.
