This vet has taken care of three of our family dogs and all have been treated with such love and care that even though we have moved to another area of Kirkland, I continue to make the drive to Dr. Lee and his amazing staff, even though there are at least two other veterinarians which are much closer. My tiny dog was diagnosed with Pyometra and they bid the surgery for $3,000 to $5,000 well this was really incredible to say the least. I called Ellensburg Animal Hospital in Ellensburg. They said for her surgery is $250.00 plus Meds $325.00 was the final price and my dog is doing great! Pyometra is pus in the Uterus and needs only a full Hysterctomy or full Spay. I heard that the prices over there are less and the service better. As I told the front desk at Ellensburg Animal Hosp why are the prices for Western Washington so high, they said they don't know why but they went to the same schools. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the lady who answered the phone, but this place was a lifesaver. My cat had an ingrown toenail that I failed to notice in her clipping sessions, and I didn't want to touch it for fear I would cause more damage than good. I called Kirkland Animal Hospital, and the amazing lady told me to come down and clipped her paws free of charge. They tried to kill my dog.He had oral surgery with them a few weeks ago.  We followed their instructions to a T.  This morning his eye was all yucky so I had my daughter bring him in.  They told this kid that the dog had to be put down; that his entire immune system was shutting down.I came straight home from work and started driving around from vet to vet to find someone who could fit me in.  This dog was obviously NOT hovering on death's door.2 other vets concurred with each other, and wholly disagreed with everything Brisbois said.The problem with his tail was not that it was dead (a dead tail doesn't bleed).  He was hitting it on things when he wagged it and kept opening it.  One of the other vets came up with a very clever way to wrap it to keep it from taking a hit.Both other vets found a mark on his eye that caused the inflamation; either a bug bite or bee sting.  Drops have cleared it up in hours.Both other vets determined he was weak and losing weight because he was put back onto hard food way too fast and he was having a hard time eating through the soreness.  Back to soft food now and a day later he's already playing again.I am so angry about the way this was handled.  And after all the snotty attitude they gave my husband about his teeth, I would have expected their attitude be justified.  But not this mess.They did not do any tests at all, did not examine him at all before determining he had to be put down.  And they told this to a kid with a smile.Will never be back with any animal.  The dog is currently running circles in the backyard playing with the other dog when Brisbois would have been ending his life at this moment. I have used the Kirkland Animal Hospital since 1985 when I first moved to Kirkland. In all that time I've never encountered anything but helpful friendly service. The staff have always been professional, friendly and supportive. Even when I had to take my animals there for the end of life service, the staff have been most sympathetic, kind and supportive. The whole staff , Lynn, Jim and Tej and Dr Lee are great to work with - they have been our care center for almost 11 years now. I constantly hear complaints from friends about other clincs with fancy waiting rooms, and sky high pricing to match. The group their cares about animals and is providing services at a fair price. The previous comment sounds like the woman was more concerend with the architecure of the building than the quality and care of her animal.The clinic, albiet is something out of the late 60's, but very clean, and Dr. Lee Brisbois is extremly knowledgable and caring.  I can't put a higher recommendation out for Dr. Brisbois.
