As the #1 human for several dogs and cats over some 35 years, I’ve known a number of veterinary hospitals. In my opinion, Clover Park is the best. Clover Park is led by a doctor I see every time, unlike clinics which have a rotating staff and inconsistent service. Dr. Tim is exceptionally gentle and sweet with his patients, and takes time with each visit to carefully inspect and answer questions. My dogs genuinely love him, and also receive lots of love from the super-friendly staff we see every time; not interns earning credits, or a revolving door of new faces. Premium care usually costs more, as it should, yet at Clover Park, the charges are as low or lower than anywhere else. We have several rescued pets and we bring them all to see Drs. Villm. Their services are great, and prices competitive. Most of all, they truly like the animals. I never feel like this is just their job. When we first brought in one of our abused rescue dogs, Dr. Villm was visibly angry over the abuse. Both Drs. are kind and patient. Honest, caring and ethical veterinarian care. The doctors are straight forward with information and do not recommend unnecessary tests or other procedures. Our little dog received outstanding care both while she was healthy and after she got sick, which I have no doubt prolonged her life. They are AMAZING. My daughter had gone to another vet with no results. We called Clover Park and immediately got her in. We even did daily "drop ins" for a few days. Unfortunately one of our cats has passed, but they would NOT let us give upon they other. Yesterday our cat began to eat a little on her own again!! My white german shepard was having problems and got to the point where she could not walk nor stand on her back legs i took her to clover park vet and he just looked at her legs and felt around a lil bit and me she has arthritis gave me some pain meds for her and sent us on our way 3 days later she did not get better she passed away i never heard of an animal ever dying from arthritis. Thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart. The staff here is amazing!! My toy fox terrier is fearful of the vet's office (we used to go to Chambers Creek). He was treated a bit roughly there and I felt like the techs and vet blamed me for his fearful behavior (I was even handed a training card once). I do understand my role as a pet owner re: fear and aggression. But we always went backwards behavior-wise after a visit to Chambers where the dog and owner seemed to be blamed for acting out when in pain. My min pin (who is very sweet and generally does amazing at the vet) snapped at the vet last time after having a 2" tube shoved in her ear. Literally shoved as though she was an inanimate object and not an animal in pain. Fast forward to my visit at Clover Park- we took the toy fox in for a teeth cleaning/removal and this time he decided to urinate and defecate all over the table in the exam room! I was horrified and embarrassed, but the vet and tech calmly cleaned him up and reassured the stressed creature. Of course he was past reassurance, but the vet never once made any comments about his behavior (or my role in it) in a negative way, he asked some simple questions and went about his business. I even needed to call a week later regarding some changes in the dogs behavior and the vet called me back and was very helpful! The receptionist even called ME the following Saturday to make sure the dog was on the up and up. That was a first for me and just reaffirmed my confidence and trust in this clinic. Great job guys!!! At first I loved this place. The vet was super nice to my dog and seems like he really cares, its too bad his staff ruins it. I was just blind sided with almost a $400 bill when I tried to get a quote before they started work on my pet but the lady at the front desk put me off until they did the work anyways, then when I needed a form to fly with my dog they couldnt do it without a brand new visit although they JUST saw my dog. We have been using this vet for a few years now since we have been stationed at Fort Lewis. We dont use the military vet due to a high wait volume. I LOVE this vet, the staff, and the doctor. Prices arent really bad either. Depending on what meds your animal may need really depends on the price. I highly recommend this vet to all my friends. Read Less

I went here because of the reviews I read. My dog needed arthritis meds. The staff was friendly and the initial visit was reasonably priced. The meds didn't last very long and when I went back and got a bigger bottle it was close to 140.00. I found the same thing and size on-line for 75.00. The male vet, Dr. Tim Villm , refused to call in a prescription because the company was based in Canada but said he would match the price. The first time he did, the second time I had to fight for it but he did. The third time, right before Christmas the price jumped from the 76.00 I'd been paying to 103.99. I left without the meds and found them at 5 places on line for 65-75.00. I called my vet from Idaho and told her what happened. She said people that behave like he did give a bad name to everyone in the profession and called in a prescription for me. Now I get the same meds delivered to my door for 71.00 including shipping from a company based here in the US. I was never introduced to this vet and he isn't the one who saw my dog so I still don't understand why he was the one who was making the decisions for my boy. I do know that I'm much happier not having to drive down there and never knowing what the price will actually be. I would recommend the original vet, Dr. Deb Townsend for an emergency, but I highly recommend you look elsewhere if your pet will need medication for an extended period of time. Read Less

We took our American Bulldog pup there on a Saturday near the end of the work day, he had an eye injury and nobody else had time to get him in. They squeezed us in! When my Jack Russell Terrier decided ( for nearly the hundredth time!) to instigate a fight with our much larger Golden Retriever/Poodle mix she, once again, found herself on the losing end...and in need of veterinary care. Our regular veterinarian could not fit us in until a week later (too long to wait with a hole in her gluteus muscle) and we had an expensive and negative experience with a local after hours animal emergency hospital a few months back (yes, another dog fight). After reading some positive feedback on Clover Park Vet Hospital and their staff, I decided to give them a call...at 3:35pm. Amazingly, even though it was the busy holiday season and I know they were very busy, they immediately offered to fit us in...that very evening. The care was excellent, the staff very friendly, and the cost extremely affordable. We are not normally clients of this veterinary clinic, and I was amazed at the length they went to accomodate us so graciously, as well as the excellent care that Cleo received. They offered free staple removal when she is ready, and even refilled an unrelated prescription for us while we were there. We will certainly be back (next dog fight?) as well as give our recommendation to others. Read Less
