I have been using Legacy for just over 9 years, since i brought home my golden, Stoli. For many years, I felt he was getting the best care possible. Every 6 months or so, we elected to have fatty cysts removed & tested for Cancer, since Cancer had run in his blood line. None of those came back malignant. The last surgery he had, this past summer, he had been left on the heating pad too long and ended up getting burnt. Legacy took care of 2-4 times a week dressing changes and all bills as part of this issue. This was the beginning of his decline.
In early January, Stoli had not been eating and was lethargic, so I took him in to have him checked out and was sent home after spending over $600 in xrays, medication & bland diet for him to recuperate. 2 days later, after a little improvement and then decline, I called to see what to do and was told to call a referred vet to set up and ultrasound the next day. Later that day, I ended up taking Stoli to the pet emergency only to find out that he was in heart failure and may not make it though the night....he made it until 7am and then passed away at age 9 1/2. My life is numb now. I feel more could have been done and should have demanded it. Read Less
