07/27/17 was my first time visiting this clinic. the staff was very friendly. I was able to get an appointment right away and they're pricing was very affordable. they seemed to genuinely care about my pet and what was best for his health. They understood the unique needs and health issues of my canine's breed.  They gave me very helpful advice on how to better care for him and avoid future health issues . I am new to the area and happened to drive by Northpointe. I saw they had good reviews on yelp and I decided to try them out as my new vet for my two cats. I am sooo glad I did because they are wonderful!! Every experience I have had with ALL the staff has been positive, genuine, kind and sincere, including the calls to set up and confirm my appointments. I was very impressed at all the little extras they did to really go the extra mile for me and my cats. For instance, they sprayed a calming pheromone on a towel and laid it near my cats when I arrived because they were nervous and meowing, and it totally helped! I am also planning to move to Hawaii and they took the time to print out and review documents with me to ensure we are all on the same page and doing what needs to be done to ensure safe island entry for my kitties! The day after my appointment they called to check on my cats to make sure they were doing okay. I feel completely satisfied and impressed with this animal hospital, I will definitely continue to take my cats there until I move, and I will absolutely recommend them to friends and family! We take all 3 of our pets here. We have two older kitties and a 9 month old puppy. We have never had a bad experience here. Our kitties, despite being very skittish, did amazing with both the doc and the assistant. The doc came in very calmly and checked out the kitties. Man, I've never seen my kitties so comfortable and calm. I left knowing that they were taken great care of. We also have a sweet little corgi pup who loves the doctors and assistants here. They are always welcoming and know his name when he comes in. We pay for the paw plan which has already saved us hundreds. We got our pup neutered here and they did an amazing job. He seemed happy and well taken care of when my husband picked him up. I had no worries about him while he was in surgery. My sister in law recommend me to Northpointe and we couldn't be happier. They have wonderful online scheduling and the ability to see all of your past appointments and even the vaccines your animal has had and needs in the future. They have called the day after all of our appointments to check on our furry friends and make sure they are doing well after their vaccines.Their office is very clean and they are very patient. They do a wonderful job clipping my pups nails. I know how to clip them since I've been a dog groomer in my younger days, but he still won't let me. They are fantastic. So disappointed in Northpointe. I'd been a loyal customer for years but lately the costs have been outrageous. In late Oct, early Nov (I can't remember exactly when) we wanted to get our 5 yo and 3yo dogs teeth cleaned. We were quoted $800-$1200 PER DOG! And this was after it was suggested to sign up for more paw plan to "save" money. Went over to Cedar Valley Vet in MLT and paid $150 per dog for the same exact service plus they even groomed our dogs too while they were under anesthesia. I decided then and there we were done with Northpointe. What happened next solidified the great desire to leave.Years ago I signed up for their paw plan but after paying $40 for 2 dogs every month and only going in for check ups and an occasional vaccination, we decided it wasn't worth the cost. When I went to cancel, I found out we had to pay everything we had supposedly saved on services for the past year in order to get out of the contract minus what was left on the contract? (I can't even explain the math but here we are paying $128.60 to end paw plan and we have nothing to show for paying that). This is even after we had been paying a monthly fee every month for services we weren't using, which we paid on time every year for the past 3 years I believe. This was the nail in the coffin and the whole thing felt shady. I'm sure this was in some contract I signed years ago but I assure you it wasn't ever explained that that was going to happen when I initially signed up. Northpointe used to have great Vets but we've been dissatisfied in service and the cost is ridiculous compared to other vets in the area that are far superior. Read Less

This place definitely has an upsale vibe. They will always try to sell you on something. Other than that they are good. Their technician, not sure what her name is, but she has short black hair with glasses is awesome. She is very passionate and has a sweetness for animals that is contagious. I lived close by this location and set up an apt for my new puppy. The staff was away very friendly, the vets always called after a visit to see how my pet was doing, and I never felt like they were trying to "sell" me something that my pet didn't require.  Overall I had a great experience with this location and would definitely recommend them. Love this place.  Moved close by from Seattle and had to find a good vet.  Nailed it with this place.  Vets are both really easy to talk to, thorough and my timid pooch relaxed around one of them in an instant which is huge A+Did upsell me on some stuff, but 1) went into great detail about the medical plans without being apocalyptic and 2) said it was optional and that was good enough for me.  Unless they do something weird anytime soon this is gonna be our pet Docs til we don't need em. As soon as you come in the staff is welcoming and the lounge is neat/clean. I was worried about bringing in Kiki because she's only had few visits before. The LVT was more then patient when it came to making Kiki feel comfortable and safe. Dr. McLaughlin was also VERY patient; for Kiki is iffy about males. He took his time, answered all of our questions, and went over the treatment plan very well. By the time Kiki and I left her anxiety farts had stopped and I believe she will be better prepared for her next visit because of how well this one went! Read Less

About a month ago we rescued our dog Tucker. We have not had a pet for awhile so did some research prior to choosing a place to try. There are A LOT of veterinary hospitals/clinics in my area, so I figured we would have to "try" multiple before finding the right fit for us. I am happy to say, Northpointe was our first stop and we need not go any further. I am beyond happy with my experiences here. Everybody is friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and patient, as I had a lot of questions and at one point Tucker became a little less than pleasant. Tucker and I are very happy here and feel no need whatsoever to "check out" another place. We are fortunate to have found Northpointe so quickly. Always know who my cat is when we walk in which i think is pretty neat. It immediately puts me at ease since ta king a cat anywhere is stressful. They are kind, quiet and low stress and very helpful. We moved farther away from the clinic and tried a new place closer to home and it was not the same. We drive the extra miles so our cat can have the best treatment and service. Read Less

Dr. Bruce was such a great choice when having to help our family cat Roscoe. Dr. Bruce was always so great at getting back to us and answering any questions or concerns that we had. I started going to NorthPointe Animal Hospital when my 3 year old Dachshund got pregnant. Abbie doesn't care for strangers but the staff here was amazing with her. She was seen by Dr. Riley the first few times and she even took treats from his hand. She never does this!! I have been taking the pups here since the very beginning of their lives. I really like the staff here. Crystal, Sarah, Elizabeth Stephanie, and Rebecca are all so kind and they love my pups, they are kind of like extended family. After the pups have gotten shots, the staff always calls the next day to see if there was any problems and make sure that they are doing OK. My dogs have seen 3 of the 4 vets, Dr. McLaughin, Dr. Bruce & Dr. Riley and I have all good things to say about each of the doctors. Brought my English bull terrier here for his shots and checkup, reasonable prices, very nice and friendly! The doctor came in and she got right on the floor to greet him and make my dog feel comfortable, it was great! Called us the day after to check on our dog and also sent us a welcome card. Lovely! I've gone to this vet clinic twice now and both times I was unhappy. The first time I took my dog in was because there was a wire sticking out from where he had been neutered before I adopted him (apparently they sometimes use wire instead of stitches to neuter dogs..) The doctor looked at it, told me they could just cut it with clippers, and went to the back to get some. He came back about 10 minutes later and told me that he probably actually needs surgery to remove it. Once I told him that I was going to just go home and cut it myself he magically found clippers and was able to cut it no problem.. The second time I made an appointment was for my dogs rabies shot. I told them very specifically that I wanted just the one shot. When I arrived today for the appointment they had scheduled my dog for all shots. I had to once again tell them I did not want all the shots, but just the rabies shots. Then to top it off, they wouldnt allow me to be in the room while they were administering the shot... Read Less

I switched to Northpointe Animal Hospital after being dissatisfied with my previous vet. I am amazed at the care and concern both Dr. McLaughlin and Dr. Riley have shown to my cat and I. I never felt like anyone was 'upselling' as I've seen in previous reviews. The facility is easily accessible and very clean. I feel Northpointe AH has gone above and beyond my expectations and helped guide me in the right direction for my pet. All of the staff has been very courteous since day one. We followed Dr "Mac" from the previous vet hospital he worked at on the Eastside.  We have always appreciated his approached and thoroughness.  We have been taking our animals to him for a couple years at least, including regular check-ups and at least one surgery.  Just saw Dr. Mac today with our cat who has been terminally ill for a bit now.  New and clean facility.  Friendly and responsive reception/front desk (even over the phone the last couple days).  I did not experience any upsell at all as indicated in a previous review.  Great experience.  Will be following up with our dog's annual check-up very soon. Scammers. They're constantly upselling. Compare them to Banfield Everett (BTW a great crew) and you'll see that Northpointe takes advantage of the pet owner. I've made the mistake of stepping foot in this place 2 yrs ago and I'm still fighting the collection agency for services that were never provided to me but is filed in collections. If you go there, don't sign anything! and when you pay, pay cash. They will start charging your card and claim you signed a contract. They will ruin your credit.It's not worth it. Do not go there. New to the area and needed to find a vet -- this place was very close to home and it looked nice and new and had good reviews. Initially came in just for a check up and to establish a history. They were running pretty late because they had an emergency come in, but I was in no rush so I didn't mind waiting. Once Dr. Sadhanala saw us I felt like she really took the time to listen to my dog's history and give her a thorough check. It was nice that even though they were running very behind I didn't feel rushed. My dog suddenly started to have trouble walking and standing; they took x-rays and samples and just performed surgery to remove a tumor. Everyone has been very nice and accommodating each time we have come in; especially the hospital manager, Meghan, who is very friendly and has gone above and beyond to help. Read Less
