They are very caring! I had money problems, not enough to pay the whole bill! They accepted the base exam, $40 and took my information and billed me for the rest! $50 a month until bill is paid in full! My cat Dinky was very sick, and they diagnosed the infection and gave him meds to heal it! Also diagnosed other issues, scheduled an appointment to treat him after the infection was gone. And they gave me a number to call to get help paying my whole bill, including the extended issues! My cat died 3 weeks later, but infection was gone, and he died on my lap with the help he needed to not go in horrible pain and conditions! I could not be more pleased how well Dr. Mark Call did with removing my sweet recently adopted senior Himalayan cat's eye that was rupturing. She is doing SO well and is now free of pain and recovering quickly. The incision area looks great and she's had NO ill effects other than the sleepiness from the anesthesia the first day. Even just the second day after surgery she was up wanting to walk around and her appetite was back. This vet is SO much more affordable than other vets, TRULY compassionate and everyone there is super nice. I can't recommend them enough. I'm moving my dog and cats over to Sno-King. My experience with this vet is very negative. If you call expect to hold for at least 10min as the receptionist will just ‘assume’ someone else picked up the line.. The three times I took my pups here they had to come back for the same exact treatment again. I have had enough bad experiences at vets to be very reluctant to try a new one, but I was VERY pleased with everything about this place. When I called (this was the 6th place I called) to first set up an appointment, the receptionist didn't have the answers, so she took the time to find them out and gave me a call back when she had them. I was very pleased. When I arrived for my appointment the staff were so very friendly and actually took the time to listen to me. The visit with the Dr was great. he got right to the point, gave my dog the shots he needed and we were done. Okay for routine immunizations and check ups but they really drop the ball when something else comes up. We have been taking our lab here for 5 years. My dog had bloody diarrhea during the night. I called first thing in the morning and left a couple messages. Then called four more times during the first hour they were open and noone answered or returned my call. Concerned for dog I put him in the car and headed to their office. When I arrived the girl at the counter said she'd gotten my message but hadn't returned my calls because they didn't have any openings until Friday. No concern for my dog. She asked if I had called the emergency vet? Um no...I was waiting for a call from my regular vet! I work in health care, when an "emergency" calls and leaves a message they should be called back immediately and referred else where if you're not available, NOT put on the back burner and ignored because you don't have an opening. I've taken my dogs to doctor Mark for years but after my dog got a skin infection that was identified and named dr. Mark treated my dog with a prednisone shot. I thought it was an antibiotic but after the third or fourth time I discovered what he was treating the infection with. Trying to get more money out of my pocket at the suffering of my poor little dog. I took my dog to another clinic and got antibiotics that cleared the problem up. I'll never go there again!!! Their office is small but they are the most compassionate vet I've ever been to. They offered to help me out with what could have been a very large bill by offering a payment plan as well as making the options to treat my cat very clear. Unfortunately my cat had severe liver failure and didn't make it. they gave me all the time i needed, honored my request to not shave the injection site, and the nurse even offered a hug after it was all over. They sent me home with a cute blanket to bury my cat in and all around took care of me and understood my emotional state. I love this vet and will be taking my other animals there in the future. We had to make the most difficult decision today that a pet owner will ever have to make, in whether or not to euthanize our beloved dog who was clearly suffering from the side effects caused by his Lymphoma. Dr. Call listened to us, was more than caring to our precious dog, and graciously helped us in coming to the right decision. Having to put down your pet is already hard enough, but with a caring doctor by your side, telling you the truth, in a loving and caring way, it helped us to find comfort in our deepest grief. We found this clinic just by driving by, but something prompted me to take Russell there. Dr. Call found his cancer and began treatment quickly and with great expert care. In 2009 my dog had surgery and ran out of pain meds from the hospital and we went to dr. mark to get more. when we went back to the hospital they said they didnt know why dr. mark gave him MUSCLE RELAXERs and not pain meds. Now my dog is having heart and breathing problems and dr. mark said there was fluid in his lungs and he had a enlarged heart. we got meds for both, but my dog ended up in the ER lastnight to find out that dr. mark didnt fix the fluid in his lungs and its been building up. We had to give my dog CPR and he was put in a oxygen cage and is still there now. Plus before this dr.mark said my dog also had bursitis and while at the hospital we asked about it and its really a nerve problem and the meds for bursitis wasnt even helping. I am torn between giving them five stars only because of their facilities. Dr. Call himself is a very capable veterinarian and who is very professional. My dog had chipped tooth which needed extraction. Her normal vet's office quoted 'the worst case senario' price which was very high. I searched and found Sno-King Veterinary Clinic. They quoted me a ballpark figure which was a fifth of the price. I immediately drove there to get a hard copy and while there asked the vet for a quick examination and write up a solid estimate instead of a ballpark figure. With such a good price, I like to prepay for services to lock in on that price. Dr. Call accessed my dogs condition and wrote me a quote very near the original ballpark figure which I paid on the spot. He then took my dog and performed the operation that day! This was a blessing due not knowing if my dog was in pain and her appt was four days away. Saved me alot of money and unnecessary worrying. Last Saturday we picked up a puppy from a reputable breeder. Unfortunately our timing was extremely bad. The puppy seamed healthy when we picked her up. Unfortunetly, things went down hill in a hurry. By Monday morning she was clearly very sick (I'll spare you the details). My Wife's family has been using Sno King Veterinary clinic for about 20 years and I found their number on this website. After reading Mrayne's review I have to admit I second guessed calling but my Wife assured me that he was a really good vet. He is by far the best vet I have ever worked with. You could tell he really cared about our puppy and he didn't talk down to you like some Veterinarians do. Because our puppy was so sick he ended up taking her home over night twice so that he could keep an eye on her health. I would recommend this vet to anyone. My puppy broke his leg, I was quoted 2200-3500 for an orthopedic surgeon, on top of the $400 I spent at the animal hospital just for an x-ray and consultation. The vet tried to talk me out of keeping him and relinquish ownership - my mother found the sno-king vet and I called and they quoted me 800-1500! Which is much more affordable than the other option. My puppy had is surgery and came home the next day, I went in a week later for a recheck and that appeared to have gone well so I am bringing him back this week for a final x-ray and hopefully to get his cast off. When we were ready to get our 6 month old puppy spayed, we needed to find a place that was not only good but inexpensive. I called Sno-King Vet and found out it was a quarter of the cost of our normal vet. I was of course skeptical as to why it was so cheap but found only the best reviews online. So - what could go wrong? We made the appointment and my boyfriend took her last Wednesday. He said they basically took the leash and told him she's good to go. There was not much paperwork, no visit with the vet. But again - it is a really common surgery so what could go wrong? We brought her home on Thursday and her stomach hung down really low, there was dried and fresh blood, she had massive amounts of bruising and a smooth, hard lump the size of a banana on the right side of her stomach. I called the vet that night and told the receptionist how worried I was - It looked awful. She took my name and number, asked me no questions. Did not care which dog we had, when we had the surgery or who brought her in. She interrupted me while I was trying to tell her how it looked and said she would talk to the doctor and call me back. That was just about 5:00pm, they close at 6. They NEVER called me back. The next day I called our primary vet and they heard me out and told me that it sounded awful to bring her in IMMEDIATELY. She ended up having a large blood clot removed. We skimped on costs and ended up overall spending over $600. She is still covered from chest to below the incision with bruises and has a soft plastic tube for fluid draining in her stomach. She may be alright but it was traumatizing for all of us and she didn't need to go through 2 full days of surgery. It wasn't fair to her. The clot may not have been their fault (she may have a rare blood disorder) but they should not have ever ever ever sent her home looking like that. And they most definitely should've called me back. They still haven't. They obviously neglected my pet. 999,999 surgeries may go as planned but just imagine the horror at your pet being that 1 that something goes wrong, vets fault or not, and they do nothing to help you and show little interest in your worry. Weigh your options. If you would rather spend less and risk your animals well being they are great! I feel that I weighed my options and even so, my dog was treated poorly. I wish I would've gone with my gut instinct and stuck with the vet I already love. But learn from my mistake because I think you will change your mind about going to Sno-King. Read Less

I just recently switched from another Vet in the area. I was qoted 700 - 800 hundred dollars to clean my dog's teeth and extract two. I was shocked. SnoKing Vet came highly recommended so I called them. They took care of my dog for just under $200.00. Their office was very clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Sandy received great care and I have since referred two other friends who have been very happy with them as well. This is not a ""yuppy vet"" office, but a down to earth office who cares about your dog. In the waiting room you will sit on folding chairs rather than plush over stuffed chairs. I take in horribly abused anmimals & the throw aways, I took one of my most severely ill boys & Dr Call was so gentle with him that not once did he flinch or whimper, & he has been horribly abused by men. My other dog who came along for the visit who was also abused by men just loved him. I don't know how he does it but I'm thankful he does. His staff are as awesome as he is. It may not be a big deal in routine well care but when you see an animal on thier last leg & here comes someone who seems to just instantly connect, it means the whole entire world to me & that poor little abused soul. This will be my vet til the day I leave this world. Did I also mention that with just one look he diagnosed the "correct" problem with my boy... even though 3 other vets couldn't figure it out.
