I'm all for holistic medicine, but this place is just weird. Seriously, what does banging on a drum do for an animal? When I first walked up, that's what I heard. A drum. Okayyyy... I went inside and was greeted by a dog who was just wandering around. I'm not a big fan of dogs and I had my cat who isn't familiar with dogs so that didn't please me a whole lot either. Nobody was at the front desk. I waited, and waited. Finally, the lady came out and got me checked in. Told me to have a seat. The place is in an a house and set up like a living room. With furniture that has had a multitude of animals sitting on it. It feels dirty. I couldn't relax. None-the-less, they kept me waiting for over two hours. And yes, I did have an appointment. Finally I got in to see the vet. He's not a very personable guy. He told me to let my cat wander around while we talked, so I did. The cat went into a cupboard and peed on some towels. Instead of being understanding, the vet was visibly irritated. Geez dude, we'd been there for 3 hours at that point. Ultimately, he didn't do anything for my cat really. Gave me some flower essences or some such that was supposed to help my cat's severe, life-threatening, asthma. When I had called in, I was told he could give him a steroid shot, which is what he needed at the moment. This cat stops breathing, I mean STOPS. He was barely breathing when I took him in. Get him breathing and *then* we work on holistic remedies. The cat would have died if I'd just gone with what this guy did.Bottom line? $350. No, there are no decimal points in there. To make matters worse, two days later I had to rush my cat to an emergency vet because he stopped breathing. If they hadn't told me they could give him a steroid shot I would have made an appointment with a different vet initially and not needed to make that stressful and expensive trip to the emergency vet. What should have cost under $100 ended up costing over $500. If you love your pet and want a holistic vet with reasonable fees, check my other reviews. There is an awesome one in there! Dr. Yearout is clearly in the business for financial gain over the wellbeing of animals. The one we see now charges much less, is incredibly intuitive, and has a clear love of animals. (And for those of you who will say this is all about the money, or I should be willing to spend more on my pets, I guarantee I've spent more than most would. Well into 5 figures *per cat.* This isn't about the money, it's about what is best for my pets - Dr. Yearout isn't the best by far.) Read Less
