My in-laws have been bringing our furry family members here for years, and just recently i decided to make the switch as well. I can honestly say I've never been more pleased with a veterinary clinic. I was going to Texas for a trip, and the Doctor took special care to prepare both me and my furbaby for what to expect, as well as arming us with the knowledge we would need in order to ensure his health stayed good upon return to Washington. While in Texas, my little one got an ear infection, and the wonderfully attentive staff got me vertigo medication immediately to help ease his discomfort until we could get in for an appointment. I was overwhelmingly panicked and admittedly more than a little annoying with my phone calls, but they handled it with grace and never once made me feel like I was an irritation or was freaking out over nothing. The BEST veterinarian office I have EVER come across, probably one of the few out there that actually care more for the animal than the money, my 1st time experiencing that. They worked with me for my beloved Nala kitty that i had for 9 years, ended up with a tumor so big they couldn't see most of her organs to see what it was attacking, I couldn't of never made it through this sad moment in life without them, HIGHLY recommended to all. I wish there was a way to rate the vet vs the receptionist. I've been on the phone with them twice and took 20 minutes of waiting. I'm a pretty patient and understanding person so it didn't bother me. They had to reschedule one of his appointments which again is totally fine, life happens and we forget, just left early work one day to make the new time given to me, not a big deal. I took my bunny here for his first appointment, the lobby is tiny. It didn't take too long to check in. The first person that came in, didn't seem super experienced I think with bunnies and held him in a way that isn't the best way causing my bunny to freak out, but again understanding because buns are definitely not crazy about being held. The vet came in and she's a darling sweet lady. They have a cat wearing wsu stuff, my boyfriend goes there so I was pretty stoked to see that. She clipped his nail and did a great job at checking him and was very detailed. She obviously is great at her job. So I have zero complaints with her. What kind of irritated me was I called today to make an apt to see if they could see me today, the lady said she'd call me back. Customer service 101, even if you can't make an apt today call and offer other times, never called me back. I tried to stop by but apparently they need two hour breaks for whatever reason. I can understand a vet needing a two hour break, receptionist not really. I then went to read reviews apparently some other people had similar situations of being hard to get ahold of and not calling back. So I'm not giving this place a bad review for say, but they could definitely benefit from maybe getting better front desk people or possibly train them more. I called a different vet and they were able to give me apt times and seemed to know what was going on in there office so sadly I don't think I'll be returning here. Read Less

I can't say enough good things about this clinic or the doctor. Compassionate while practical, genuine and to the point, this doctor values each animal seen and takes phenomenal care of each and every one. We have seen her for years and i have never had to say my dog failed to receive any level of treatment due to lack of funding. She has worked with us and been much more than fair and my dog has always been seen when needed. Doctor Donna is wonderful with the animals and people. Very personable and caring. She doesn't seem to treat her staff very well though. I have heard her and her office manager belittling the front desk staff in front of people on multiple occasions. Also, I tried to get my records faxed to a different clinic and it took almost 2 months of both me and the other clinic calling before anything was sent over. I keep being told they would send it over and it wasn't until I went in and demanded it be copied that it was actually sent. Overall, i would rate this place a C+ Read Less

Dr. Sowder is absolutely the nost amazing vet on this planet. I have NEVER in my life had a vet so knowledgeable and so caring. Our poor kitty was sick. We had taken him to the ER Vet and they didn't do half of what she did. In fact they sent us home. The following day he got worse. Dr. Sowder was open so we took him in. He ended up being there for a week. It was touch and go for several days. Her and the staff were very understanding when we called many many times for up dates. Also when our dog Pepper got pregnant Dr. Sowder gave me her personal cell phone number in case Pepper went into labor at night or over the weekend and I needed help! Their prices are low, but you get what you pay for. They could not get rid of my cat's ear infection after 8 months of ear drops, antibiotics, and more. Finally when I decided to try another vet, they refused to give me his medical records or send them to the other vet. I am STILL trying to obtain my pet's records. Read Less

Dr. Donna and her staff have been taking care of our critters for over 10 years. They are incredibly helpful, professional and truly love what they do. Their prices are very reasonable, and it's easy to get in for appointments and emergencies are always taken right away. The recent increase in office size is very helpful to the ebb and flow of intake and discharge, and the prospect of the new custom building that's under construction down the street is exciting as well. Customer service over phone terrible, called like 2 times and was left on hold for 20 something minutes Dropped my cat off at 8am and they didn't even get to him the next day, and its like he didn't get the help he needed cause he's still scratching from fleas. Love this vet. She has cared for my pets from beginning to end. Prices are fantastic. Some vets charge twice as much for dental cleanings. I do foster work for dogs and need to have a reliable vet to help dogs who have not had the best of luck. She is great! Read Less

This place is fantastic. My only regret is that I live in south Seattle now, but I still made it up there fore my dog's teeth cleaning. They have wonderful customer service and terrific prices, especially for the dog teeth cleaning --- it was at least $200 less than another NW Seattle Vet!!! Highly recommended. Read Less

Left a message for them during their lunch hour with no return call for 2 days. Called back and put on hold for 9 minutes and 48 seconds and no one ever picked back up the call. They have done an AMAZING job for all of my pets. My kitty was in and out of the hospital there for 3 months. And they had no problems with me randomly showing up in a frantic state for my cats well being, and there was never a time they turned me away. All the people there will get down to your pets level so that their comfortable instead of directly starting to over handle them. makes your pet comfortable the entire time. She has held my dogs and held my hand through some serious problems, She is a very competent vet with the most amazing 'dog-side manner' that I have experienced in several decades of having dogs.
