I'm not sure about this place yet. I moved to MLT from Greenwood, and wanted a local vet. I chose A Pet Care Clinic based on Yelp reviews. I wouldn't say it was a bad experience, but I'm not certain I will come back. I haven't totally written them off yet, though.I brought my older pug dog in for an annual exam. I really appreciated how the vet got down onto the ground with him (he hates to be lifted up), even though it obviously wasn't easy/comfortable for her. She determined that my dog's anal gland was impacted, so I took him home and hot-packed it for a week. We returned and there was no change, so she felt that it must be a tumor and he would need surgery, and could potentially be incontinent (not likely, but potentially). I asked, but how do you know it's a tumor and not just a really impacted gland? She responded that either way it needed to come out, which sounds reasonable. But... just in case... I took him to his Greenwood vet. The old vet got that gland expressed in about 5 minutes and saved my dog unnecessary surgery and me $$. I don't fault her for this, though. It sounds like it was pretty badly impacted, and maybe hard to 'read.'After the initial visit, I couldn't decide if I liked this place or not. The vet is wacky and colorful, saying "asshole doctor" instead of proctologist, making off the cuff comments and jokes. Also, she said twice that she welcomes a second opinion, but that it would essentially be a waste of my money, unless I was one of those microsofties. I don't know. Not enough contact with them to really fairly rate the service. Read Less
