They repeatedly overbook him.
My first appt I waited 30 minutes
Second, over 40 minutes.
Third (and final) after waiting an hour to see him for post operative care, his staff said it’ll be another 15 minutes. I walked out.
Animal Eye Clinic have no regard for people or their time.
Stay away from this place. They are way behind and do not make the time for patients.

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Called for a week and left 5 messages because I couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone. On the seventh day calling them someone finally answered the phone and said they don’t call people back until they open up their schedule for the following month! And on top of that she was so rude and had absolutely no empathy what so ever. What kind of business just doesn’t call people back when their voicemail says they’ll call you back as soon as possible? I was referred there by my vet because my dog needed medical attention right away and it was beyond what they were able to do. So I wasted a whole week with my dog in pain before realizing I needed to call another eye specialist. What a horrible business!

Love the doctors. But the clinic is so busy & so *horribly* understaffed that it's almost impossible to get a human being on the phone most of the time. Sure if it's a dire emergency they'll talk with you or call back quickly but otherwise it's either 'try your call later' or maybe just maybe you get the option to leave a message. Hey AEC - It stinks to call and get told to by the message service 'call back tomorrow because they're understaffed and can't answer the phone today.'

They've let us down in a time of crisis twice now. I personally blame Dr. Sullivan's staff. The apathy displayed during multiple emergencies has directly contributed to my dog's blindness. The biggest mistake I made in managing my dog's illness was trusting her care to this practice. Avoid.

Everyone is always kind to both the critters and the critters' nervous guardians.

I take my Boston to this clinic, as she has really bad allergies that give her chronic eye issues. We used to see Dr Landry, but since he has left we now see Dr Sullivan. Since there is only one doctor at the clinic appts have to be booked way out, but once you get in you get great hands on care. My dog loves both doctors and they both have been pretty great with her.

My dog, Paula, has received excellent care at this clinic. I love all the staff there. About a year ago, she developed glaucoma. Surgery for one eye and continued treatment to save the other. Paula and I love visiting Animal Eye Clinic because we really love the people there and we always get to meet new friends in the waiting room. Dr. Landry has been especially skillful in the way he has explained my dog's condition and treatment to me. When she had surgery, he carefully explained my options (a few times, patiently). This is a good clinic run by genuinely good people. They really care about their clients.

I love Dr Sullivan at the Seattle Animal Eye Clinic. Funny guy!! He always sings to my dogs and tells them they are perfect. They certainly like to hear that. Atticus and Godiva where a little worried about the contraption he had on the top of his head, but did ok. Lilith thought she might have to bark at him at first but then melted into his arms. Siren was like "what ever, can I go now". Khaleesi wanted to lick the light. Po just stood there like he always does and Atlas was like "look at my eyes, look at my eyes". LOL And the office staff was soooo tolerant of my knotty loud mouth excited 1 year old's. Embarrassing!! haha

Dr. Sullivan is an amazing doctor who truly cares about his patients and their humans. I do dog rescue and have brought four of my dogs in because of eye-related problems and was always happy with the attention we received as well as the treatments prescribed to address specific issues. I can't say enough about Dr. Sullivan and the animal eye clinic. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr Landry as always did really good job taking care of my pet Kuma and the excellent rating was for him, the front desk personnel so far did a good job but they still haven't really made me feel "comfortable" just yet, when I first visited them I was very disappointed for the way they treated me when I walked in there I almost cried and left but I didn't want to drive to Olympia, anyways...the reason I said this was because there were two ladies in the front when I got there and I believed they might be on the phone but neither one of them acknowledged my presence at all, I mean how long will it take to say "good afternoon"... maybe I'm just being "over dramatic"

I couldn't begin to thank Dr. Sullivan enough. His reputation proceeds him even in Wenatchee. My Kenai had cataracts since birth and he is only 2 years old. Before the surgery he could only had 10 percent vision. Now my boy can see perfectly. He is a good dog and deserved a long and happy life with good vision. Dr. Sullivan and the staff are over the top on patient care and customer service. I am sold and Kenai will be a patient for life. He sat in the floor to examine my dog. Who does that lol.

I have been going to AEC for almost three years, I have never recieved anything but the best of care for my dog and the staff is so wonderful. I have always heard back from the staff or the Doctor very promptly for any issues or questions I have had. I would recommend this facility without reservation. Dr. Tom Sullivan is just amazing!!

I brought my Yorkie in during an emergency. She actually woke up blind today and she's only 2 1/2 years old. Dr. Landry saw her and he was amazing. He took the time to thoroughly examine her and also to calm my fears. Thankfully, we think Haylee got into some of my horses' deworming medicine and it caused stroke-like symptoms which should resolve over the next few days. I thank Dr. Landry and his wonderful, caring staff.

YOU NEED TO BE VERY PUSHY ABOUT FOLLOW UP. My 14 year old diabetic cat was referred here due to suspected glaucoma or brain tumor. Dr Sullivan was absolutely terrific with him; he clearly can form a positive connection with animals. He eliminated the glaucoma possibility but offered that the cat might have a brain infection. So he drew blood and had it tested for Crypto and Toxo. I left VERY FAVORABLY IMPRESSED. Later in the week I called to discuss the results. I was told that Dr Sullivan would likely not be able to call back that day. so I twisted the arm of the staff member to send me the results by email. (tests were negative). I called the next week to discuss the results and see what Dr Sullivan would recommend. Were these tests definitive? no call back. I called again. no call back. I waited a few days. Dr Sullivan is not working today. So, I have to conclude he has no recommendation and also that he has no interest in relaying that to me either in person or through his staff Thus the mediocre rating. Would I go there again. yes, if necessary, but I would be even more pushy about follow-up.

My dog, Paula, has received excellent care at this clinic. I love all the staff there. About a year ago, she developed glaucoma. Surgery for one eye and continued treatment to save the other. Paula and I love visiting Animal Eye Clinic because we really love the people there and we always get to meet new friends in the waiting room. Dr. Sullivan is an amazing doctor who truly cares about his patients and their humans. I do dog rescue and have brought four of my dogs in because of eye-related problems and was always happy with the attention we received as well as the treatments prescribed to address specific issues. Dr Landry as always did really good job taking care of my pet Kuma and the excellent rating was for him, the front desk personnel so far did a good job but they still haven't really made me feel "comfortable" just yet, when I first visited them I was very disappointed for the way they treated me when I walked in there I almost cried and left but I didn't want to drive to Olympia, anyways...the reason I said this was because there were two ladies in the front when I got there and I believed they might be on the phone but neither one of them acknowledged my presence at all, I mean how long will it take to say "good afternoon"... maybe I'm just being "over dramatic"

really cant say enough good things about Dr. Sullivan and the staff. I knew he was a gem when he started singing to my very scared blind senior pit bull. Dr. Sullivan is extremely attentive, caring, knowledgeable and dedicated to the care of each and everyone of his patiences.
So glad we were referred to him and my dog go the care he needed.

I couldn't begin to thank Dr. Sullivan enough. His reputation proceeds him even in Wenatchee. My Kenai had cataracts since birth and he is only 2 years old. Before the surgery he could only had 10 percent vision. Now my boy can see perfectly. He is a good dog and deserved a long and happy life with good vision. Dr. Sullivan and the staff are over the top on patient care and customer service. I am sold and Kenai will be a patient for life. He sat in the floor to examine my dog. Who does that lol.

I have been going to AEC for almost three years, I have never recieved anything but the best of care for my dog and the staff is so wonderful. I have always heard back from the staff or the Doctor very promptly for any issues or questions I have had. I would recommend this facility without reservation. Dr. Tom Sullivan is just amazing!!

I brought my Yorkie in during an emergency. She actually woke up blind today and she's only 2 1/2 years old. Dr. Landry saw her and he was amazing. He took the time to thoroughly examine her and also to calm my fears. Thankfully, we think Haylee got into some of my horses' deworming medicine and it caused stroke-like symptoms which should resolve over the next few days. I thank Dr. Landry and his wonderful, caring staff.

YOU NEED TO BE VERY PUSHY ABOUT FOLLOW UP. My 14 year old diabetic cat was referred here due to suspected glaucoma or brain tumor. Dr Sullivan was absolutely terrific with him; he clearly can form a positive connection with animals. He eliminated the glaucoma possibility but offered that the cat might have a brain infection. So he drew blood and had it tested for Crypto and Toxo. I left VERY FAVORABLY IMPRESSED. Later in the week I called to discuss the results. I was told that Dr Sullivan would likely not be able to call back that day. so I twisted the arm of the staff member to send me the results by email. (tests were negative). I called the next week to discuss the results and see what Dr Sullivan would recommend. Were these tests definitive? no call back. I called again. no call back. I waited a few days. Dr Sullivan is not working today. So, I have to conclude he has no recommendation and also that he has no interest in relaying that to me either in person or through his staff Thus the mediocre rating. Would I go there again. yes, if necessary, but I would be even more pushy about follow-up.

Very impressive! After a long time I got the feeling that I've met someone who knows what he's doing. Needless to say he's been really sweet with my Snoopy besides being efficient.
