Called for Emergency cat care on Saturday evening, they were closed. Called for Emergency cat care on Sunday, all day they were closed. Called Monday frustrated because there only open hours are when I have to work. The kind receptionist referred me to a competitor, Diamond Veterinary, only because there open 24 hours. Called Diamond Veterinary, felt urgent because I couldn’t get the cat to a Vet 3 days in a row with a serious infection. Diamond Vet receptionist was the real actual Devil herself in the flesh,super mean demon chick, put me on hold for 6 minutes then treated me like hell, when she finally got back to me. Called back Mukilteo Veterinary Hospital. Again super Kind customer service that felt genuine and real. She stated that she would take my cat in on a special service they offer to have her seen during the next availability, and that I could leave my cat there so that I could return to work. Wow, that’s an awesome solution and worked out quite well too. I quickly rushed my cat there and they got to caring for her with in hours. The staff really cares too, they even called me to go over the procedure, in great detail, and even broke down every cost of the bill for me in detail twice, with out me even asking, and before asking my permission to charge my debit card. They took a $300 deposit and credited me back an honest $145 too, that’s honesty and a super good price. My cat got treated for a serious infection, got pain medicine, got shots and antibiotics and medicine to bring home for well under $200. I’m super happy with the service, kind staff, and my cat is going to be happier now too. I would NEVER get that kind of service and love from Diamond Veterinary. After sharing with the staff my horrible experience with Diamond Veterinary Hospital the staff were so concerned about my cat and my happiness that they let the doctors know about it. If you look up Diamond Vet, they have absolutely horrible reviews. Mukilteo Veterinary Hospital felt like kind loving family that was really genuine love. walked in to get prices for our pup we needed prices for shots and had a couple questions. the young lady at the front desk didn't say hi or anything the phone rang she answered it put them on hold told me itd be 2 seconds and thats not a problem... after waiting patiently she finally is able to assist me. But instead of giving me the time of day she literally handed me a piece of paper telling me this is the pricing(for the shots). i asked if i can make an appt for our pup to get shots and she said she didnt have time today.. i did not say anything about making an appt for that day. obviously i walked out and took our pup elsewhere. When you walk into a new place you want to feel welcomed, and even if you did have a stack of paperwork in front of you.. you should have been welcoming and polite. the young lady is in your website picture where the doc is holding his pup. shes the gal in front row to the right with glasses. i dont wish to get her in trouble, but maybe someone can remind her to be friendly :) Read Less

First time today.I do love my current vet, but I have to say I loved dr. Chatterson. I respected all the choices that were given us, and also the way it was broken down in the thought process I was impressed with his interaction with "me" and my pets. I never once felt pressured, manipulated, attitude, arrogance, (I've had some horrible vets) or anything negative.The staff were friendly and Melany and helper took blood samples fast and efficiantly, I was allowed to watch. We've been to a few vets in the area and out of state, to note my comparisons. I can't type enough about how much we love these folks. Our dogs love going to the vet (you read that right). The doctors here are compatible and are detail oriented to ensure the dogs are happy. Just about everything is taken into consideration, things like the lights and how the rooms are laid out. If you're shopping around in the area, give this place a shot. Read Less

This is a great clinic, the staff really cares about your pets and while it may be on the tad expensive side compared to some other places you're getting the best care. They don't try to up sell you on things you don't need and clearly spell out what costs what. Read Less

My dog injured her paw while I was traveling, they were able to get her in on short notice and get her history from my regular vet. Prices were reasonable. But most of all I LOVED how the vet interact with my dog and discussed the the course of treatment with me.Read Less

Dr. Chatterson and staff are absolutely THE BEST!! We recently moved to Hawaii and trying to find another vet and staff like them has been difficult!! Dr. "Chatty" and staff are truly a hard act to follow! Dr. Chatterson always patiently listened to my questions, took the time to answer them thoroughly, and always gave me options when it came to treatments. We also loved the way Dr. Chatterson got on the floor with our doggies to greet them, love them up, and examine them! This is an amazing vet. I would only ever bring my animals here. Brilliant and friendly staff that put you right at ease. Doctor's are so friendly. My large dog is afraid of the vet and the doctor spent 10 minutes lying on the ground waiting for my dog to approach him when he felt comfortable. Read Less

Our dog (son) comes from Thailand and we needed him to get checked out and after researching a couple of places, we found Mukilteo Veterinary Hospital. We chose here because of the reviews on Yelp, and also because it is very close to where I work.Scheduling an appointment was super easy. Upon walking in, the staff was friendly and nice. We met up with Dr. Dahl and he reported all was fine with our boy and that he was as healthy as can be. Dr. Dahl seemed like a great person as well. Answered all of our questions and was again, friendly.I can't comment on the prices here, but I thought they were super reasonable. We've been coming to this vet for about a year now, and they are great! The vets on staff are knowledgeable and compassionate, the front desk staff are helpful and friendly, and in general they really care about the health and comfort of your animals. And, the prices on their prescription food are basically the same as discount online retailers, and with better service! They also have very reasonable prices for exams, shots, and so on. They regularly help me out with questions over the phone, which is awesome because I know some vets are stingy and won't even answer a question without the exam fee. This past weekend my cat started throwing up water every five minutes, shaking and shivering, and looking very unwell. I called them about half an hour to their closing time and they were already booked for the day, but they happily agreed to see me so I didn't have to bring him to a very expensive emergency vet. They were thorough and made sure he was completely safe and comfortable before they released him (turns out he was fine, maybe ate a spider or something minor like that), even though it took them well past their closing time. We've used Mukilteo Vet hospital since 2001.  We've gone to a few others when we've been out of town etc. Mukilteo vet hospital is the best. Dr Dahl and his team are so caring, and flexible when I need a last minute appointment or when there is an emergency. They've made caring for an elderly lab less emotionally taxing. Read Less

The veterinarian is very friendly, but the prices at this place are through the roof. The receptionists try to sell you stuff as well, and get pretty pushy in my opinion. They want over $300 to spay our cat. Insane. I called NOAH and they charge $28!!!!! It's just crazy. Even the office visits are highly expensive, and they love to recommend things that you just plain don't need. Read Less

Very nice & friendly staff. Doctor was informative and I didn't feel they were trying to sell me anything my cat didn't need. They even called me a few days after my cats tooth extraction to make sure she was doing well. I'll be using them in the future for my vet needs and recommend them to anyone. Read Less

This vet is amazing. Very friendly staff who are great with my puppy. I had a pretty decent experience there on my last visit, but not great like always. I called a while later to see if I could get my issue resolved. Being the shy, socially awkward person that I am, I dreaded the phone call. The lady that answered my call was really nice and tried to sort it out as best she could. The only thing that she could do was have the manager call me the next day, which was fine with me. But the way she handled the call took a lot of anxiety off of me. I got a call from the manager, Jen, the next day. Wow, I had such an amazing phone call with her. This office is amazing. Everyone is very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I feel like the service fees are slightly higher than some other practices but the quality of care and service that I receive meet up to it. I really appreciate that Dr. Dahl called and explained my dogs blood work results and give me as much information as possible. The only small downside that I've experienced is that it can get a bit busy here and there throughout the day so sometimes there is a little wait just to make a payment or speak with the receptionist. 1-24-15 I would like thank Mukilteo Veterinary Group for the years of special care and love given to our pets over the years. Within this past year we lost two very special friends, Schotzie (aka Shooter) and Nadja (aka Naddie) Both German Sheppard, Nadja (11 yrs.) has now been gone 3 weeks and Shooter (14 yrs.) left us in March. Took my cat here on a Monday when he started urinating blood on a Sunday. The girls in the front office, Kerry and Kristin, were able to get me an appointment right away the same day I called, whereas I called several other vets and was rudely turned away. Dr. Chatterson was extremely professional and very nice to my cat. I didn't feel that this clinic was out to get all my money, and I wasn't made to give my cat unnecessary tests so the office could make a buck. The front office staff is very efficient and make you feel welcome. They obviously care about the pet being brought to the office but they also are considerate of the human that brings them in. The doctors are good about explaining the diagnosis and giving options for treatment. The vet techs are good about educating on administering the medications and other home treatments that might be needed. I have used this clinic for my personal pets since it has opened. AMAZING VET!!  I am brand new to Washington state and had to find a new vet for my pup.  When we first arrived, she was nervous in the lobby.  Each of the nurses came around the counter to say hello and give my dog treats and love to help ease her nerves.  When it was our turn to go back, the doc was amazing!  He got down on the floor with her and played with her, rubbed her belly and gave her lots of kisses.  Dr. Chatterson is knowledgable and passionate about his field! Always wonderful service from Kerry, Kirsten and Melanie. I started taking our pets (two pups, four kitties) here five years ago and have, sadly, lost two of our kitties in that time. Two years ago, they were to close early for the holiday and all stayed late with Dr. Chatterson (the best mannered vet I could ever dream of having) to help us out on an unexpected visit. They treat me like family and it's not just me- go into the waiting area and see how they interact with the animals and their parents. Having raised two mastiffs, a three-legged dog, and now attending to my lab, I have been to multiple vets in many states over the last two decades. This vet surpassed all of them. There are so many interactions to thank them for that I will have to simply list them for anyone looking for a vet. - A floor mat so my unsteady dog didn't skitz out on the tile during the entire visit. - The vet, without request, actually reviewed my dog's records before the visit to ensure the visit would be the most productive. - A DVD with my dog's Xrays - A full exam to address all of my concerns including time to just sit together and think through our options. - Inexpensive. - Quick turnaround. On memorial day weekend I had the results less than 18 hours after the exam. - Detailed follow up - Internet access to all of my dog's records and vet history. - A waiting room that doesn't cram all pets on top of each other. I have been taking my pets to Mukilteo Vet since 1997 and have found the staff to be knowledgeable and caring. I love the doctors and staff as they are always there when I need them. I've never been turned away when I've called up, they always squeeze me in. Doctor Crockett, Dr. Dahl, and Dr. Chatterson are wonderful with my Kerry and are willing to get down on the floor at her level. The gals at the front desk are respectful and make you feel very welcome when you walk in the door. The Doctors also stay current on the latest medical information. Mukilteo Vet has laser therapy for their clients which works on my 11 year dog's back to manage her pain without medication. I love this vet office. I can never say enough good things about these guys. They are very caring, thoughtful, understanding and always helpful! When you walk in the door, or call on the phone Kirsten or Melanie almost always know who you are and who your pet is. It is very refreshing to know that they care as much as you do about your pet and always treat your pet with the utmost care. They will get down on the floor with your pet and love on them and also try to make your pet feel as safe and cared for as they can. I have a special needs dog and have been to 5 other vets offices. In her 4 years of life she has had to have her leg reconstructed, a cornea repaired, she has severe allergies, dry eyes, and one emergency . Dr Dahl has always listened to my concerns and always tried to help. When my pup had an emergency they treated her as a high priority and fit her in an already full schedule. I can call or stop by at any time and ask questions and they never treat me as if I am bothering them. I am never overcharged as I have been by other vets offices, in fact they will go to great lengths to help you find ways of getting the best care and best advice for the least amount of money. I could go on and on about Mukilteo Veterinary Hospital. Give them a call or stop by, trust me you will not be disappointed and best of all you will have a vet staff that will care and take out the time to make you and your pet feel as though you are of highest importance for the life of your pets. I was referred to Mukilteo Veterinary Hospital by a neighbor after I had visited several other veterinary clinics in the area and had left each feeling very dissatisfied with the care offered to my dogs. I felt very comfortable the minute that I walked into their facility and met the staff. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction and I was happy to find out that the doctors actually provided care on site and did not refer everything out to specialists as the other clinics had. All three of the doctors have treated my pugs and I have found each one to be professional, knowledgeable and caring. Dr Chatterson was an excellent advocate for us recently when we had to visit a local veterinary emergency facility. The entire staff is helpful and I am never made to feel that I am a bother to them. I have been going to this veterinary for close to 20 years - they have done an excellent job helping me with all of my pet needs - from minor things like annual shots to major when the pet needs to be put to sleep... I recently moved to the area from a place where I'd had the same vet for 20 years. I first tried an ""exclusive"" veterinary hospital/spa but was appalled at both their charges and their level of professionalism. I asked around and heard about Mukilteo. These docs are great! Their charges seem reasonable to me, and they respond to my endless questions. Their treatments have been great, and they are willing to discuss options without seeming judgment. I have read the negative reviews and feel as though those instances could happen at any hospital. Read Less

So my Best Freind was showing signs of senior arthritis, and so we go to this place, and she is put on Rimadyl. the Doctor says there are some risk with high doses for long times, but we put her on half of the lowest dose available, and said we would monitor her progress. They never called to check how she was doing, did not schedule rechecks or suggest periodic blood work. So the pills are $120.00 a month and 7 months into the treatment, she is uncomfortable, not eating or drinking, the second day of these signs we go in, and $260.00 later, they send us home with prescription canned dog food. She wont eat! the next day we go back, $203.00 and still no explanation, not once did they say STOP the Rimadyl. And she was still not eating or drinking, day 3, time for a second opinion, we find out from the new vet, her liver enzymes are 479 (normal 5 to 100) and STOP the rimadyl, she may now have liver damage. Not only is Mukilteo Vet Hospital way expensive, they take your pet in the back and present you with the bill for payment before bringing your pet to you! You pay high dollar prices for lab tests and all you get to see are handwritten scribbles on note book paper...Dont go there!!!! Read Less
