I was very nervous about taking Rollo to the vet because my last experience had not gone well. Rollo is a large dog that we rescued and does not trust right away. The vet tech at evergreen was so patient and was able to get his trust and give him the shots he needed. I will definitely go back.

I brought my beautiful golden here for a spay. The careless vet tech, with no apparent knowledge of dogs with guard coat, butchered her coat while shaving her. Her entire stomach and side is shaved, about five inches above her nipples on either side, and the entire way to her front legs.
My family has raised show dogs for over 20 years, and I have seen animals after far more invasive surgeries, c-sections and intestinal blockages and never have I seen so much hair removed.
I will, obviously, be finding a new veterinarian because this proved to me that these people have no knowledge, care, or respect for my animal.
DO NOT BRING YOUR DOUBLE COATED DOGS HERE!!

I came in with a cat who is highly afraid of people, and, despite a bit of fear of the new surroundings, she was okay. The staff treated her very kindly and did everything they could to make her feel safe, which was not an easy task. The end bill was a bit expensive, but we had them do a lot (microchipping, shots, blood work, urinalysis, the whole shebang) so it was well worth the price. In the end, I would definitely come back!

I recently took my dog in because he was having trouble with his eyes. I was worried so I called a bunch of vets. This place was able to get me in quickly. They were all so nice and did everything they could to ease my worries. It turned out to be an eye infection and with the antibiotics they gave him it cleared up in less than a week! Highly recommend this vet. They were kind, empathetic and professional. They could see not only was my fur baby stressed out but so was I, and they went above and beyond to put us both at ease. I will for sure go back.

Well I was wrong!! From the moment you make your first phone call you are treated like you are the only patient they have They listen .. really listen and genuinely care about the well being of your furry family members. The doctors and staff here truly care. We have never had a bad experience at Evergreen Vet. I like how they are aware of our price limits and stay within them yet still give my pets the best medical attention they can get. I used to work in the veterinary care field, and I would (and do) recommend evergreen vet above other clinics in the area.

We were new to the area. Our dog had just seen our vet in our old city prior to our move, and had a full work up. My dog just needed a liver enzyme drawn as she had started a new anti-inflammatory prior to our move, plus she had developed an ear infection during the move. I am a Registered Nurse, so have medical and lab work knowledge. I explained to the vet that our dog had just had a full work up and just needed the one specific lab draw so we could refill her new med. While there, this vet told me she doesn't recommend heartworm treatment to her clients because of the climate here. What? Are you kidding me, does she not know anything about breeding grounds of mosquitos? I would have walked out that instant, but I needed to get my dog her pain medications and her ear infection treated. She gave our dog a new ear infection treatment, even though I told her what we had used in the past had been successful, her ear is still not 100% at this time. When I went to check out, I had a $500 plus bill. I was in shock. I walked out of there in a daze, and once I got home, started looking at the bill. She had done another full blood workup-even though I had told her this had just been done 2 weeks prior. I was charged for all kinds of stuff. I will never return to this clinic, and highly recommend no one take their pets there. It would be a tragedy if someone loses a dog to heartworm because of her terrible advice. Our old vet did nothing without our permission and looking up the price first. This experience has made me miss my old vet, and gives me a bad feeling everytime I drive by this clinic (which is daily). Please take your pets elsewhere, somewhere with ethics.

I came in with a cat who is highly afraid of people, and, despite a bit of fear of the new surroundings, she was okay. The staff treated her very kindly and did everything they could to make her feel safe, which was not an easy task. I recently took my dog in because he was having trouble with his eyes. I was worried so I called a bunch of vets. This place was able to get me in quickly. We were new to the area. Our dog had just seen our vet in our old city prior to our move, and had a full work up. My dog just needed a liver enzyme drawn as she had started a new anti-inflammatory prior to our move, plus she had developed an ear infection during the move. I am a Registered Nurse, so have medical and lab work knowledge. I explained to the vet that our dog had just had a full work up and just needed the one specific lab draw so we could refill her new med. While there, this vet told me she doesn't recommend heartworm treatment to her clients because of the climate here. What? Are you kidding me, does she not know anything about breeding grounds of mosquitos? I would have walked out that instant, but I needed to get my dog her pain medications and her ear infection treated. She gave our dog a new ear infection treatment, even though I told her what we had used in the past had been successful, her ear is still not 100% at this time. When I went to check out, I had a $500 plus bill. I was in shock. I walked out of there in a daze, and once I got home, started looking at the bill. She had done another full blood workup-even though I had told her this had just been done 2 weeks prior. I was charged for all kinds of stuff. I will never return to this clinic, and highly recommend no one take their pets there. It would be a tragedy if someone loses a dog to heartworm because of her terrible advice. Our old vet did nothing without our permission and looking up the price first. This experience has made me miss my old vet, and gives me a bad feeling everytime I drive by this clinic (which is daily). Please take your pets elsewhere, somewhere with ethics.
