Very disappointed with this clinic. I've been a customer for years and didn't used to have issues. Things have changed. I had a dying cat 😿, couldn't walk, eat, drink, and bad diarrhea. Knocking on deaths door. He just needed antibiotics immediately. This clinic would not see him for two weeks minimum. They are the gatekeepers of a life saving drug and refused to see him. All emergency hospitals were full (even walk ins). The told me "ahhh, so sorry" in a sweet voice...... luckily a more ethical vet decided to not let my cat die after a huge logistical headache, even though I wasn't an existing customer. I also have a dog who needs incontinence pills. They were sold to me as being perfectly safe, no worries. They also mark up their medications 400% compared to online. They take a long time and jerk you around to do online approvals, seemingly trying to make your life hard for not being their wildly over priced medications. Now they force me to come in yearly to reapprove this 'safe' drug, and tell me I should be doing full blood panels to make sure the drug isn't harming her. 😮 Then top it off with crazy mask/distancing policies. Which at this point is going against CDCs formal reccomendations. Update: now they are lying about filling a prescription with a third party. Read Less

I had to take my guinea pig in due to an emergency. They got me in within hours, took great care of her and sent us home. My own vet does not take care of guinea pigs and referred me to Healthy Pets! Thanks Healthy Pets! The only thing I could say that was a con, was because I have never had a guinea and know nothing about them. I would have liked more information. In the 40+ years I have been responsible for the healthcare of pets, this is BY FAR my favorite office to date. Treatment is centered around Animal's quality of life, and practical treatment plan most realistic for the family. Prices are fair, and,visits are not loaded up with charges from excessive tests. Doctors offer options and discuss less invasive measures when possible. Also medication dispensed out of this clinic is half the price of my prior vet. Will go here as long as they'll have us! Dr. Natalee Rosinski has provided excellent care for my Cardigan Corgi Mix rescue dog - who is quite an actress around veterinarians. She has no serious health problems but I feel very confident of Dr. Rosinski's care as my 12 year old dog ages. Reliable and friendly office staff too. Read Less

I adore Healthy Pets. Not only is Dr Danielle a great vet, their front end staff are also great. They remember me and my guinea pigs every visit, and are beyond helpful over the phone. I've gotten same day appointments multiple times. Dr Danielle also definitely knows what she's doing with pigs which amazing as not all vets are. They're very understanding of my financial situation as a college student and are up front about their costs. My one guinea pig got an abscess and the procedure was quick and painless. They were also helpful about getting me a second bottle of flushing solution when his abscess didn't heal in time, and also getting me a new syringe when I lost mine.. They're very good about not pushing unnecessary services or costs. As long as I live in Olympia, Healthy Pets will be my vet. Read Less

Dr Murphy is an extremely competent and caring provider. She has provided for my service dog for over a year now, and his care has been excellent. The front staff and techs are also incredibly caring and are very gentle and calm with nervous and sick animals. I took my cat in because he had grass stuck in his nose. I was in school at the time so I opted to do a drop off appointment to avoid missing class. I gave them permission to what they saw fit to help him, expecting that they would take xrays and put him under anesthesia to physically look for it. They told me that the xrays only showed that his lungs looked asmatic, but when i asked to see the xrays a few months later, i realized that they DID NOT xray his head, only his torso. They did every possible test including full bloodwork and racked up my bill as high as possible. He was in the back all day without a litter box and they returned him to me covered in urine. I thought this was going to be a decent vet because of the other good reviews, but I feel like they took total advantage of me not physically being there to rack up the bill when I knew exactly what the real problem was. I was disappointed and even angry. I expected Healthy Pets Animal Hospital to treat my pet's wound when I took her in today, but she came home in the same shape as she was before. My Chocolate Lab just got fleas and started itching. We've never had them before, so I didn't notice them right away. But, when I looked at my dog's stomach, there was a wound that was about a quarter round in size and slightly deep. My husband took her in to get the wound checked out and hopefully treated, and to ask about flea medicine for the dog and our two cats. The vet only looked at the wound. Did not wash it, shave the area, put cream on it, or cover it with any bandage. Nothing. Then told us that they were out of the cream we should use on her, and we would have to come back tomorrow and pick it up. Also, had us buy a flea medicine tablet for the dog - which was fine. But sent home Revolution medicine for my 8 pound kitten. The medicine listed right on the package it was supposed be be for a 15 - 22 point cat. And, it said it on the paperwork they sent home, too - with a note that her weight was last known to be 6.5 pounds. Now why would they send home meds meant for a 15 pound minimum cat to a kitten? Then, since they have not ever seen our other cat, told us we had to buy that cat's medicine from the pet store. O.K., fine. We should have just gone to the pet store in the first place and saved ourselves the $47.50 charge to see the vet who did not do anything at all! I'm not going back to get the cream for my dog, I'll just use a triple antibiotic ointment and human Benadryl. I need to find a vet that actually cares! Read Less

I took my beloved Cheyenne to HPAH the day after Christmas for euthanasia. She lost her battle to Metastatic Hemangiosarcoma. The staff were very professional, very compassionate and allowed us to be with her to the end. And her ashes were ready just 4 days later. WOW. We will be using them again in the future when we get another dog. Thank you all for being so sweet and so patient with us. And making us feel like you cared too. She passed in perfect peace, with dignity and surrounded by love. I couldn't have asked for a more peaceful goodbye....except to be able to have it done in our home instead of bringing her to an office, that was hard on her since she was unable to walk anymore and she was scared. The reassurance from the vet was exactly what we needed to be sure we were making the right decision. I wish I could remember her name. Thank you, whomever you are, for being so sweet to us. I payed $250 to have 2 teeth pulled from a big animal hospital chain that goes by the name band field out of the petsmart. My dog is a mini greyhound 14 lbs. the visit yesterday removed 17 teeth! $400. If I knew about this vet 8 years ago I would have saved a lot of money. My family and I recently moved to Washington state from Florida. We were very worried about taking our two dogs to a new veterinarian since they are both rescue dogs and very used to our old veterinarian. The vet technician had very unprofessional and unfriendly demeanor. After leaving everything seemed okay until we notice an excess of dried blood on our corgi's back paw. This, to me, is completely unacceptable for something as routine as a nail trimming. If we can not trust this vet just to trim our pets' nails there is no way we could trust them with anything else. Dr. Natalie is the very BEST bulldog vet. She understands the variety of problems that they have and knows how to treat them. She is also an excellent surgeon. Many bulldogs have breathing issues and problems being put under for surgery. Dr. Natalie knows how to successfully treat them for surgery. Healthy pets is, hands down, one of the best veterinary experiences we've ever had. They take great care of our cats, and have always provided a warm, welcoming atmosphere. They also manage the amazing balancing act of discreetly, honestly and non-judgmentally discussing pricing. While they are (on the average) a bit (between 10 and 20 dollars, it seems) more expensive than some of the other local vets, it's worth it. We haven't yet brought in our dogs (they have a long standing relationship with another vet), we will be when the time comes. Read Less

I love my Veterinarians! and I know they love my pets. The staff at Healthy pets is so caring, and treats us like part of the family. Everybody at this practice is so wonderful to deal with. I have been to many veterinary offices over the course of my pets lives, and I feel like I have found the "Gem". Vet offices can get very busy, with staff taking multitasking to a new level, but I have been going to Healty Pets for many years, and I have to say that I am VERY pleased with the service and level of care.
