All Creatures Animal Hospital's staff are very compassionate and very responsive. The doctors and nurses will take time to call you and personally go over test results as well as addressing symptoms. I made a same day appointment for my 1 1/2 year old German Shepherd that was having leg pain and they got me in within two hours of calling. My little doggie was urgently sick and we haven't been to a vet in the are yet. I called a couple places. Based on reviews and their helpfulness over the phone, I came to All Creatures. They took us in for an emergency appointment, were so kind and patient with my nervous dog and crazy two kids. I thought the bill would be double what I ended up paying. The office lady called me back later that night and said her till was short she think she gave me too much money back which I can't confirm because I did not count the change she gave back to me my mistake but now 3 mo later I get a letter saying I owe all this interest for a mistake your employee made. My family of Pets have been clients of All Creatures Animal Hospital almost from the beginning of their practice. We've had everything from bunnies to puppies as our furry family of pets and Dr. Sig Nottingham and his staff have always been highly skilled, welcoming, professional, and compassionate throughout these many years. Our Dachshunds Rebecca and Chloe who were our daughter's children lived happy, long, and healthy lives in large part due to the care received from the doctors, and staff. When our Dachshunds lives ended the compassion and care by all of the staff was amazing, comforting and beyond the expected. In 2010 my wife received our Maltese Sadie Jane for Valentines Day. Sadie was the runt of the litter and became a wonderful addition to our family. When it came to Veterinarian care there was no question that All Creatures would take care of our sweet Sadie. With my wife passing too soon in October, Sadie Jane became my constant companion for these 7 years. She brought such joy, comfort, unconditional love, and asked for little in return. All she needed was food, water, and a daily cleaning of her powder room! She wasn't fond of the weekly scrub behind the ears but she liked the treats afterward. All Creatures was an important part of her wonderful care and she thrived under the watchful eyes of Dr. Green, Dr. Preston, and Dr. Nottingham. Recently Sadie became very ill and was treated with the best care medicine could offer. Sadie had times of what seemed like normalcy, and then times of illness. She deteriorated quickly and I was able to take her to see Dr. Nottingham who is the most caring, compassionate, and brilliant Veterinarian at All Creatures to discuss quality of life options. Sadie's suffering, agony, and pain ended that day surrounded by loving, caring, and compassionate people. It was a celebration of Sadie's life on earth and her journey to the next stage over the Rainbow Bridge. There are no words that exist to express my appreciation for the wonderful care on Tuesday, and throughout the many years with our medical family. We visited All Creatures Animal Hospital for the first time a few weeks ago as our little yorkie's heart condition was failing and it was time to end her suffering. Having her as a furry friend for over 10 years this day was so very hard. The Doctors, techs and staff were the best. So very patient, kind, warm and comforting. They offered a kind hug to me and treated our little Lexi like she were one of their own. They allowed all the time I needed in between every step of the way and for my to hold Lexi in my arms snuggled in her favorite blanket until she fell asleep. We have been clients at All Creatures Animal Hospital for 18 years, and we have seen a few of the doctors and staff leave All Creatures for relocation or better opportunities over the years. However we have NEVER been let down, disappointed, or felt any negativity during any changes in the 18 years of being clients at All Creatures.We were so sad when Dr Andrew Sattler moved to Ohio and left All Creatures; but Dr Nottingham and Dr Lindner found a GREAT replacement in Dr Green and the other vets who have since joined All Creatures Animal Hospital.The doctors and staff at All Creatures are top notch and without their devotion to their clients and the ability to understand that we don't all walk around with a spare $1500 in our wallets we would have been lost years ago. We even had one of the vets take our dog home to their house and set up a 24 hour intensive care unit for our pup because we were out of money and options after our sweet girl having been in the ER and under the hospital's care for more then a week already.You show me a vet that would take home a clients dog and administer life saving care and not charge a dime; and I will guarantee that you are looking and and talking about All Creatures Animal Hospital!! Took my 2 dogs here for two years...until they gave my dog a round of shots he didn't need as he was up to date. When I questioned the front desk they said "oh it won't hurt him" and proceeded to charge me! Not to mention they push for a shot that other vets don't require. My other dog who was seen regularly for UTIs, almost every other month I spent hundreds of dollars for tests that would confirm the UTI, which we already knew given her history! I decided to see another clinic in which she was diagnosed with leaking on her first visit and has been given the right medication treating the underlying problem, not symptoms. I brought him in just after 1:30 because he had a dental treat stuck in his throat and while he was breathing, he wasn't able to get it out and neither was I despite our best efforts. Dr Lindner was so gentle when it came time to say goodbye to my little dog Riley. We took care of paperwork and charges b4 hand so I cld depart when it was over. Thank you so very much for the loving care we received today when we came in with a very ill little kitty. I will never forget the kindness each staff member showed us today. Dr. Green was so empathetic and wonderful. She helped to make a very painful moment a beautiful one and I am so grateful. Foofy was my little fluffy ball of sunshine. I have never had a baby that loved me so much. She was scared of others due to the abuse she endured as a baby before I rescued her. She got kicked and thrown around at her first home when she was so tiny and we took her out of that situation and gave her all the love we had for 9 wonderful years . Foofy was my love and such a beautiful, feminine little princess. Its so hard without my shadow. My husband and I are unable to have children and our animals are our everything, I know many of our friends didn't get to meet her as she was so shy due to what happened to her as a baby. We gave her the very best life possible though and I'm so thankful to All Creatures Vet for letting me hold her swaddled in a blankie and kiss her head until she fell asleep. Best doctors available. I have been taking my animals here for 25 years and will always. It usually takes me almost 30 minutes sometimes more to get there and is worth the travel. Dr. Nottingham is by far the best doctor there, with all of the doctors being excellent but Nottingham tops them off. They all are so caring. Any animal taken there will be in good hands. I love these folks! I have been taking my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Angus, here for 12 years. Dr. Sig Nottingham is so knowledgeable about the breed. When being a dog Mom to this breed, that part is very important. Every breed had its own set of possible issues and Cavalier's really do. Dr. Nottingham has owned several of them himself. I know that doctors and technicians always say that your pet is special but when I arrive, they always greet my dog by name and they truly love him. This gives me so much confidence that he always gives me the best advice. Dr. Nottingham never sells me the most expensive options, only the most important ones. (And of course they know that I would do anything for Angus) I have been to the so called bargain vets and they are never a bargain. If you want the best for your fur baby, this is the place. First off, my experience with All Creatures happened 2 summers ago, but I wanted to give myself a substantial amount of time to cool down, let my heart heal and post a fair and true review based on my personal experience. 2 years ago my 12-year-old yellow lab fell ill from a large tumor that started to form on his leg. We did the best we could, but eventually there was no turning back. He was in so much pain.. :Poor buddy. :( Eventually he started looking for places to hide, his breathing became labored and he completely lost mobility in his back legs. He couldn't walk or get up at all. That day we finally knew that keeping him around any longer would be selfish and we didn't want to see him hurt from the cancer anymore. Our regular vet was unavailable and we wanted to have him euthanatized ASAP to avoid prolonging his suffering, so we were referred to All Creatures. Since he couldn't walk we had to carry him in the exam room and lay him down. I was MORE than a little irritated that the tech backed into him, almost stepped on him and hit him in the head with the back of her foot as he lay helplessly flat in the exam room floor. THEN when the vet entered the room he swung the door open on his head! We made it abundantly clear what our mission was: To have him euthanatized. It was already a heartbreaking experience as it was, but the vet had to drag it out. He kept questioning the veracity of his illness, pressing us into doing costly tests and procedures. Eventually I had to become stern so he FINALLY got the point after us waiting with our dying dog in agony for over a half hour! I was also a little irritated that, unlike MOST vets, they don't have a box for your to carry your deceased animal in. As much as they charge for euthanasia, not having a box is absurd! FINALLY it was time to load him in the car so he could go to Rainbow Bridge. I sat in my car in tears watching my dog be walked out in agony and they REFUSED to carry him. They FORCED him to walk out on his own with a sling on his back legs even though he was CLEARLY in agony dragging his back legs behind him. ! I sat there and watched as they were walking him and out of nowhere blood just BLEW out of my dog's rectum and splashed onto the vet clinic wall! I was devastated!! It was THEN and ONLY after the damage was done that they vet took accountability and apologized. After that they loaded him in my car and he quickly drifted to heaven. Our regular vet takes a paw impression of deceased pets and turns it into the plaster keepsake to hang on your wall and remind you of your lost lifelong friend. Not this place. They took his paw and smudged it with ink on a piece of paper. Very tacky! Needless to say, this was a horrible experience made worse by the lack of compassion and how things played out. I'm thankful that they took my dog's suffering away, but still very disappointed in how they went about it. Read Less

I have 4 dogs and 2 cats, all who go to All Creatures. After a year of bringing my young, healthy pets to All Creatures, I knew they are awesome, but since my doxie Bentley has been struggling with anemia, I have found out just how great they really are. I have met with everyone who works there. All of the staff is so friendly and actually remember my family. The techs and vets are very thorough. The receptionists are super organized and helpful. They always call with reminders and for a post checkup. They don't bill you for every tiny thing or pressure you to run unnecessary tests. I have seen them stay late to take in a dog that was hit by car, and nearly every time I'm there, they are scanning lost pets for chips and trying to track down their owners. They have squeezed in Bentley last minute, worked through lunch, and called me after hours to give me updates. My dog Zoe had bone cancer for the last 2 months of her life and this Dr. helped me give Zoe the best quality of life for her last days. Took dog there and it was a simple issue and charged me a visit fee and another room fee and fee others which was high enough but then asked me to come in for follow up so I assumed be part of the initial fees and scheduled it come to find out when they called me later I asked if cost any more for my follow up and said it be another visit charge so I said that's OK dogs fine who charges for follow ups it clear they don't care bout the animals there all bout the money go to wildflower in Graham there lot better and don't charge for follow ups Read Less

Not real happy with this clinic. Took my very sick dog here for evaluation and care. The Dr. ran some basic screening (As that is all I would allow) and told me my dog had an autoimmune disease. My dog had been throwing up non stop and I was worried about obstruction so I also got an xray. The vet kept asking me to run expensive tests to confirm auto immune disease and wanted an abdominal ultrasound. Was told that if autoimmune would see lymph nodes on ultrasound. My dog had elevated white cound and low HCT. Fortunately I am a doctor and have a little knowledge. I took my lab work home and googled my dogs symptoms and labs and google showed me over and over again that the result was worms.. I dewormed my dog and he pooped out a large tapeworm and has been fine ever since. Why would google give me this as a primary and the vets jump straight to autoimmune??? Greed I suppose. Took our Daisy in today. They made room for us to get in to see the doctor quickly. She worked around our budget and got a diagnosis and treatment plan worked out for us. I've found our girl a new veterinarian in Puyallup. Not all vets are created equal. Dr. Green obviously loves her work, is an excellent diagnostician and all round decent person. The front desk staff are sweet as they can be. Met one other doc (not sure which) and watched him in action with a worried Mom - he was clear, compassionate and supportive. When our cat starting having seizures we first took her to Vets For Less. They didn't address her seizures but said that she was allergic to fleas. FLEAS!!!! So we looked up All Creatures and they immediately got her in. They are very caring and loving individuals. Lucky (our cat) was very at home and was much more at ease with Andrew (our Vet) than she was any of the people at VFL. Although our cat was unable to be saved, we assured that it was the right thing and the compassion from everyone there was unbelievable. They are first rate people! Read Less
