We've been taking our pets to Dr. Miller and company for years now (cats and dogs) and it's ranged from minor (checkup & shots) all the way to surgery (tooth extractions) and the final journey. Dr. Miller is a great vet and very knowledgeable. Of course health care is expensive, but in my experience, they are not much for the "hard sell" of extra services and he always discusses your range of options. As for the staff, they have always seemed courteous and friendly when I have been there.

I've taken my two cats to see Dr Miller every year for the past 10 years or so. He's been absolutely fantastic: He asks a ton of questions to really find out how my pets have been doing. He's made time to see my cats on short notice when they were sick, and he takes time to explain what to expect with my older cats and how to keep them healthy as long as possible.
The staff there are always super friendly and helpful. The office is always spotless and clean (obviously it smells like a vet, but it's surprising it's so spotless every time).
I couldn't recommend this vet enough.

The doctors and the entire staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and really do care about their clients and patients. I've taken my cats here for years and never had a had experience or felt like I was being overcharged.
They also carry a pretty reasonable selection of prescription foods on site should you need them.
The parking is also fairly ample around the office at most times of the day and the spots are big enough to make it easy to get your doors open and your pet carriers out.

Dr. Miller has been the most amazing and professional Doctor we have ever experienced for so many reasons. His care and compassion go beyond what one would expect. I've been taking my dog to Loyal Companion and Dr. Miller for 5 years now, and I highly recommend you do too. His assistants are excellent and the level of care they give is superb and worth the price. Whether it's a checkup, a comprehensive oral cleaning, or surgery, the staff and Dr. Miller are always comforting, friendly, and professional. On my most recent visit, my dog needed to be anesthetized for a routine tooth cleaning and x-rays. I got her back clean, happy, and with some free samples of tooth-cleaning kibble and recommendations for chew toys. They called the next day just to check in and make sure the dog was doing okay -- a nice touch that I appreciated.The clinic is always clean and quiet, and though it's a bit out of the way for most people, it's worth the drive. Look forward to coming here for many more years!

I recognized that my cat wasn't doing well, so I took her to Loyal Companion on a recommendation of a friend. I was told out her liver was failing. I couldn't have been more upset.There are no words to describe how painful it is to watch your beloved animal get sicker and sicker. But there was a point when she was feeling better because of the amazing attentiveness the Dr's gave her and the medicines they recommended. I wholeheartedly believe I had an additional 4 months because of them. And I was so so grateful! When it came time to say goodbye, they led me to a comfortable room and allowed me all the time I needed. As stupid painful as it was, they were very kind and made the process a little more bearable.I am so *incredibly* lucky to have found them. I've been to many vets over the years (due to moving), and they are hands-down the best I've ever worked with.To the entire staff at Loyal Companion. Thank you *so very much*. I miss Kitten terribly but I know we did everything we could for her.THANK YOU!!

Dr. Craig Miller and his entire staff are the most competent, compassionate veterinarian team I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Without exception, I have always been welcomed into the clinic for care in any emergency that comes up within their business hours. Dr. Miller is meticulous in his veterinary skills, and I appreciate very much that he is very detail orientated. I have been bringing my two Shih Tzu to Dr. Miller for five or six years now. I bring my dogs to Dr. Miller for preventive medical maintenance and scheduled checkups, and well as the frequent medical issues. My two dogs, Bart and Jazzie, are complicated little dogs and need consistent (if not constant), quality care. They have gotten such care from Dr. Miller and his staff. Dr. Miller is compassionate and caring. He cares about my dogs as much as I do. I melted into a puddle on the floor when he gave my little Bart a kiss during one visit! I am genuinely comforted to know my dogs have the best care and best chance for quality of life with Dr. Miller and Loyal Companion Animal Care.

I do not understand why there are so many good reviews for this clinic. I have been to this clinic two times, once to ask questions and the second for an initial exam. Both times the staff were unwelcoming and unfriendly. I went for an initial exam for my two dogs. On their website it states the initial exam would be no cost. After my exams, they insisted on charging me for one of my dogs exam. I called the veterinarian that did the exams and told her of my disappointment with the extra charge and the staff in general. She told me she would pass the information on to the owner. Disappointing response. I decided to go to establish service with a different clinic. The new clinic requested my records from Loyal Companion, Loyal Companion still has not forwarded my dogs records as requested.

Our senior dog was having health issues and the people at Loyal Companion were so great. They allowed us to stay with him and did the least invasive tests they could so that he didn't suffer unnecessary tests, due to his age. A few weeks later we had to take our boy to a 24 hour emergency vet because he was struggling to breathe and we ended up having to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge. I called Loyal Companion to tell them that I wouldn't be bringing in his potty sample (that they asked for) because he had passed. A couple of days later we received the most lovely card signed by the whole staff telling us how sorry they were for our loss. I so appreciate that they understand that our boy was part of our family and he was more than just a dog. Lovely people who are compassionate and caring professionals.

LOVE this place! Dr. Miller is amazing! The assistants are so sweet and kind, and they take their time checking everything out. They're very careful and take every step, slowly and diligently, and you can tell they really take their time to make sure they see/catch everything they possibly can. Dr. Miller is extremely kind and empathetic; you can tell he really, really just loves his job. Never have a problem getting an appointment, even in an emergency, and we've been beyond thrilled with the care and attention. The place is super clean, has some pet food, and love that they have a kids' play area to keep the little ones busy while you attend to your other "child." Worth the trip even if you life outside of Redmond.

Out of all the vets I've been to, he was the only one who took the time out to actually check the dog inside and out regardless of reason I was bringing him in for. AND at a lower rate than most other vet practioners in town! They also have a great network with the surrounding clinics and he was first to call me when he found out my dog had passed to give his condolences. 5+ Stars!!

Our 16 year old cat received wonderful care as she battled both age and illness. We could not have asked for more sensitive, professional support than was afforded both our pet as well as ourselves during our difficult time. Highly recommend this outstanding veterinary service.

Another vet clinic gave me a written estimate for a $2500 surgical intervention. Dr. Miller performed a blood test, gave an accurate diagnosis and outlined a simple and reasonably-priced course of treatment. He is far better informed than most vets and keeps up with the latest research. I am happy that I saved money, but even happier that I didn't put my pet through unnecessary surgery!!

I am very impressed with the level of detail and professionalism in the office and from Dr. Smith. I received a much appreciated and necessary reminder call in the evening before I was scheduled to bring my cat, Missy, in for surgery. Check in this morning was quick and thorough, the estimate was reasonable, the staff friendly and the office clean. A small drive for me but definitely worth it.I can pick up Missy later this afternoon and will be sure to write a followup review in the next couple weeks.

We have two Shih Tzus who are our 'empty nest' dogs... Both are getting older now (couple of grumpy old men..) and we really do think of them as the furry kids and are extremely picky about our vet (more like a Pediatrician!)..We moved up from Portland late last year and, almost immediately, one of our boys began to have issues. We found Dr. Miller after going to several other vets where we felt we got big bills with poor service/care. We could not be happier with the care our two boys get now! Great care from both Dr. Miller and the entire staff there and they understand when we're sensitive to costs in some situations (face it, it's a real consideration for most!)... Secondly, it is affordable, they are honest in what vaccinations are necessary and DO NOT try to run with your money. They are in the business to take care of our furry friends!! I had a 9am appointment, on a Sat. With my history of vets, I had blocked off the entire day, and feel like my dog was dragging me into the vets office, more than I was. I did not even have time to sit in the waiting room before they placed me in a treatment room, and the techs immediately ran the diagnostic tests and told me that the doctor would be there to see me shortly. I was ready to set up camp and begin to beat my high score in tetris, when the doctor came in almost right after the tech had left!!!He took his time, educating and honestly paying attention to my dog. He showed his concerns with my dogs age, and explained what I was doing right, and problems I may come to see up here in my new location. I was in and out in about an hour, and of that hour I was dealing with an employee for about 90% of the time!Everyone was very helpful, and just excited to educate me on Washington's animal problems that I might not have seen in LA or Florida. I was pleasantly surprised and really loved the positive experience.... I also think Rex was into it, since DrMiller gave him his all time favorite treat, cheeze wiz!!

When your pet are your children, you want the best care you can find for them. After moving to the area almost five years ago, and trying another vet that missed diagnosed two of my pets, I went to Dr. Miller and his staff on a recommendation from some coworkers. Since day one I have felt that my pets were important, they take the time to really understand what is going on, and the follow up is truly amazing. On my most recent visit my dog was wheezing a bit. After trying some antibiotics and then being out of town for a few days I came back and she had gotten worse. I called the office and they had us in the next day. I couldn't miss work so a family member took my dog in. Dr. Miller called me on my cell throughout the visit to let me know what he was finding and how he wanted to proceed. He took the extra time to explain everything and make sure I understood. Two days later he called with results and a plan of action. I have two cats and a dog and each one gets the special attention they need. He found an issue with my 12 yo cat that another vet missed completely. He seems to always give me options to consider and when pushed lets me know how he would treat his own pet. You can't fake loving animals. You can tell when someone is genuine and this team is the real deal!

I have been a costumer since I got my maltese and since then we just go there and also border our baby there everytime we travel.The doctor is so patience and the staff are very very nice. Every appt Pippin has they do the full check up with no hurry and explain to us step by step.I don't feel like I am just like another costumer and that is great. I also knows when I have to leave my baby there he will be very well cared and loved :)

We were looking for a new vet clinic and decided to visit here after reading all the great reviews it has received. We were truly happy that we found this vet! The caring staffs were really nice. Although the exam room we were in was a little small with a 97-lbs dog squirming around, the common area was really clean and spacious. Dr. Miller spent almost an hour in the room with us, examining our pup and taking the time to explain the conditions and possible treatments for him. We love this vet clinic and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great vet.

I finally found a vet clinic that provides the personal kind of vet experience I prefer! This is a new clinic just opened this Jan. Dr. Miller really impressed me with his caring nature, obvious love of animals and the time he took during our initial appointment. He also diagnosed a bladder infection that my dog had that I was completely unaware of and then followed up twice to see how she was doing. The staff is also super nice!

He's made time to see my cats on short notice when they were sick, and he takes time to explain what to expect with my older cats and how to keep them healthy as long as possible.
The staff there are always super friendly and helpful. The office is always spotless and clean (obviously it smells like a vet, but it's surprising it's so spotless every time).
I couldn't recommend this vet enough.

The doctors and the entire staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and really do care about their clients and patients. I've taken my cats here for years and never had a had experience or felt like I was being overcharged.
They also carry a pretty reasonable selection of prescription foods on site should you need them.
The parking is also fairly ample around the office at most times of the day and the spots are big enough to make it easy to get your doors open and your pet carriers out.

His assistants are excellent and the level of care they give is superb and worth the price. Whether it's a checkup, a comprehensive oral cleaning, or surgery, the staff and Dr. Miller are always comforting, friendly, and professional. On my most recent visit, my dog needed to be anesthetized for a routine tooth cleaning and x-rays. I got her back clean, happy, and with some free samples of tooth-cleaning kibble and recommendations for chew toys. They called the next day just to check in and make sure the dog was doing okay -- a nice touch that I appreciated.The clinic is always clean and quiet, and though it's a bit out of the way for most people, it's worth the drive. Look forward to coming here for many more years!

I recognized that my cat wasn't doing well, so I took her to Loyal Companion on a recommendation of a friend. I was told out her liver was failing. I couldn't have been more upset.There are no words to describe how painful it is to watch your beloved animal get sicker and sicker. But there was a point when she was feeling better because of the amazing attentiveness the Dr's gave her and the medicines they recommended. I wholeheartedly believe I had an additional 4 months because of them. And I was so so grateful! When it came time to say goodbye, they led me to a comfortable room and allowed me all the time I needed. As stupid painful as it was, they were very kind and made the process a little more bearable.I am so *incredibly* lucky to have found them. I've been to many vets over the years (due to moving), and they are hands-down the best I've ever worked with.To the entire staff at Loyal Companion. Thank you *so very much*. I miss Kitten terribly but I know we did everything we could for her.THANK YOU!!

Dr. Craig Miller and his entire staff are the most competent, compassionate veterinarian team I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Without exception, I have always been welcomed into the clinic for care in any emergency that comes up within their business hours. Dr. Miller is meticulous in his veterinary skills, and I appreciate very much that he is very detail orientated. I have been bringing my two Shih Tzu to Dr. Miller for five or six years now. I bring my dogs to Dr. Miller for preventive medical maintenance and scheduled checkups, and well as the frequent medical issues. My two dogs, Bart and Jazzie, are complicated little dogs and need consistent (if not constant), quality care. They have gotten such care from Dr. Miller and his staff. Dr. Miller is compassionate and caring. He cares about my dogs as much as I do. I melted into a puddle on the floor when he gave my little Bart a kiss during one visit! I am genuinely comforted to know my dogs have the best care and best chance for quality of life with Dr. Miller and Loyal Companion Animal Care.

I do not understand why there are so many good reviews for this clinic. I have been to this clinic two times, once to ask questions and the second for an initial exam. Both times the staff were unwelcoming and unfriendly. I went for an initial exam for my two dogs. On their website it states the initial exam would be no cost. After my exams, they insisted on charging me for one of my dogs exam. I called the veterinarian that did the exams and told her of my disappointment with the extra charge and the staff in general. She told me she would pass the information on to the owner. Disappointing response. I decided to go to establish service with a different clinic. The new clinic requested my records from Loyal Companion, Loyal Companion still has not forwarded my dogs records as requested.

Our senior dog was having health issues and the people at Loyal Companion were so great. They allowed us to stay with him and did the least invasive tests they could so that he didn't suffer unnecessary tests, due to his age. A few weeks later we had to take our boy to a 24 hour emergency vet because he was struggling to breathe and we ended up having to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge. I called Loyal Companion to tell them that I wouldn't be bringing in his potty sample (that they asked for) because he had passed. A couple of days later we received the most lovely card signed by the whole staff telling us how sorry they were for our loss. I so appreciate that they understand that our boy was part of our family and he was more than just a dog. Lovely people who are compassionate and caring professionals.

LOVE this place! Dr. Miller is amazing! The assistants are so sweet and kind, and they take their time checking everything out. They're very careful and take every step, slowly and diligently, and you can tell they really take their time to make sure they see/catch everything they possibly can. Dr. Miller is extremely kind and empathetic; you can tell he really, really just loves his job. Never have a problem getting an appointment, even in an emergency, and we've been beyond thrilled with the care and attention. The place is super clean, has some pet food, and love that they have a kids' play area to keep the little ones busy while you attend to your other "child." Worth the trip even if you life outside of Redmond.

Out of all the vets I've been to, he was the only one who took the time out to actually check the dog inside and out regardless of reason I was bringing him in for. AND at a lower rate than most other vet practioners in town! They also have a great network with the surrounding clinics and he was first to call me when he found out my dog had passed to give his condolences. 5+ Stars!!

Another vet clinic gave me a written estimate for a $2500 surgical intervention. Dr. Miller performed a blood test, gave an accurate diagnosis and outlined a simple and reasonably-priced course of treatment. He is far better informed than most vets and keeps up with the latest research. I am happy that I saved money, but even happier that I didn't put my pet through unnecessary surgery!!

I am very impressed with the level of detail and professionalism in the office and from Dr. Smith. I received a much appreciated and necessary reminder call in the evening before I was scheduled to bring my cat, Missy, in for surgery. Check in this morning was quick and thorough, the estimate was reasonable, the staff friendly and the office clean. A small drive for me but definitely worth it.I can pick up Missy later this afternoon and will be sure to write a followup review in the next couple weeks.

We have two Shih Tzus who are our 'empty nest' dogs... Both are getting older now (couple of grumpy old men..) and we really do think of them as the furry kids and are extremely picky about our vet (more like a Pediatrician!)..We moved up from Portland late last year and, almost immediately, one of our boys began to have issues. We found Dr. Miller after going to several other vets where we felt we got big bills with poor service/care. We could not be happier with the care our two boys get now! Great care from both Dr. Miller and the entire staff there and they understand when we're sensitive to costs in some situations (face it, it's a real consideration for most!)... I had a 9am appointment, on a Sat. With my history of vets, I had blocked off the entire day, and feel like my dog was dragging me into the vets office, more than I was. I did not even have time to sit in the waiting room before they placed me in a treatment room, and the techs immediately ran the diagnostic tests and told me that the doctor would be there to see me shortly. I was ready to set up camp and begin to beat my high score in tetris, when the doctor came in almost right after the tech had left!!!He took his time, educating and honestly paying attention to my dog. He showed his concerns with my dogs age, and explained what I was doing right, and problems I may come to see up here in my new location. I was in and out in about an hour, and of that hour I was dealing with an employee for about 90% of the time!Everyone was very helpful, and just excited to educate me on Washington's animal problems that I might not have seen in LA or Florida. I was pleasantly surprised and really loved the positive experience.... I also think Rex was into it, since DrMiller gave him his all time favorite treat, cheeze wiz!!

When your pet are your children, you want the best care you can find for them. After moving to the area almost five years ago, and trying another vet that missed diagnosed two of my pets, I went to Dr. Miller and his staff on a recommendation from some coworkers. Since day one I have felt that my pets were important, they take the time to really understand what is going on, and the follow up is truly amazing. On my most recent visit my dog was wheezing a bit. After trying some antibiotics and then being out of town for a few days I came back and she had gotten worse. I called the office and they had us in the next day. I couldn't miss work so a family member took my dog in. Dr. Miller called me on my cell throughout the visit to let me know what he was finding and how he wanted to proceed. He took the extra time to explain everything and make sure I understood. Two days later he called with results and a plan of action. I have two cats and a dog and each one gets the special attention they need. He found an issue with my 12 yo cat that another vet missed completely. He seems to always give me options to consider and when pushed lets me know how he would treat his own pet. You can't fake loving animals. You can tell when someone is genuine and this team is the real deal!

I have been a costumer since I got my maltese and since then we just go there and also border our baby there everytime we travel.The doctor is so patience and the staff are very very nice. Every appt Pippin has they do the full check up with no hurry and explain to us step by step.I don't feel like I am just like another costumer and that is great. I also knows when I have to leave my baby there he will be very well cared and loved :)

We were looking for a new vet clinic and decided to visit here after reading all the great reviews it has received. We were truly happy that we found this vet! The caring staffs were really nice. Although the exam room we were in was a little small with a 97-lbs dog squirming around, the common area was really clean and spacious. Dr. Miller spent almost an hour in the room with us, examining our pup and taking the time to explain the conditions and possible treatments for him. We love this vet clinic and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great vet.

I finally found a vet clinic that provides the personal kind of vet experience I prefer! This is a new clinic just opened this Jan. Dr. Miller really impressed me with his caring nature, obvious love of animals and the time he took during our initial appointment. He also diagnosed a bladder infection that my dog had that I was completely unaware of and then followed up twice to see how she was doing. The staff is also super nice!
