Broadway Veterinary Hospital

Seattle, Washington
General Info
Broadway Veterinary Hospital initiates pet wellness support in Seattle through a process that starts softly and intensifies with each visit which helps Washington families feel connected and informed. Initial visits primarily aim to establish familiarity with the animal through tracking behavior and identifying lifestyle patterns while addressing concerns such as appetite skin irritation and reduced play. The examination process involves checking body weight and assessing joint movement while evaluating coat health then performing dental inspection followed by abdominal palpation and conducting a gentle behavioral reading. All elements progress deliberately to establish understanding not only with the patient but also regarding the family's routines and care preferences. Broadway Veterinary Hospital delivers an array of services including vaccinations, diagnostics, parasite control, dental care, nutrition planning, pain management and chronic condition support. Treatment plans develop through distinct phases while remaining personalized by considering factors such as the pet’s age temperament breed tendencies home setup and daily rhythm. The scheduling of care services remains adaptable while clients can choose to stagger their care according to personal comfort levels and financial constraints. Upon completing each visit pet owners obtain straightforward summaries along with organized timelines and defined objectives which include follow-up appointments and weight benchmarks as well as dental care adherence. Households maintain alignment through mobile reminders and printed take-home packets without experiencing pressure. Broadway Veterinary Hospital assists pet owners throughout Seattle and nearby Washington regions to integrate veterinary care into their lives as a tranquil ongoing pattern that supports future years instead of a stress-inducing task.

This place is amazing, I felt immediately at home it's like walking into a livingroom not a sterile vet environment. My dog Chester is 13 and he immediately senses when he's in a vet. Not this place, the first time we arrived he didn't shake at all. They took amazing care of him (thank you Ryan and staff) and they even have a coffee machine with ceramic mugs! The most amazing thing is that they don't OVERCHARGE and push unnecessary tests. I'm sorry I didn't find it sooner but so happy I did. The first time I came in, I was in a panic over finding doggie day care and they recommended City Dog and even found a coupon for me. Thank you Broadway Vet Hospital!! Read Less

I had been taking my dog here for several years and she was all up to date on her vaccinations, but I kept getting unwanted text messages saying she is overdue for things she JUST got done a week prior AT their location. I called to request they update her file and they said they did. Several days later, I am still getting annoying texts. I called again and asked them to please stop texting me. That was several months ago. Today, I called in to get copies of a few of her records which were lost in a move and found out they have DELETED all records of my dog ever having been there. There is no way to know what she is up to date for or when she needs new ones. Found out today while complaining to a roommate that this is the same place which actually killed her friend's cat. A surgery was done on her cat, which was apparently botched and blocked the cat's urethra. The cat died from complications due to the surgery. I am staying far away from this place from now on. I am lucky my dog is alive. Read Less

Dr. Park is so incredible with my cats! My boyfriend and I adopted a bonded pair in April and brought them to BVH for their free health exam offered by the shelter. By chance, Dr. Park was working and I couldn't imagine taking them to see anyone else! She gave us a calorie count to target each day and gave us some other great tips. One of our boys got a tail wound that is having a difficult time healing, but Dr. Park was amazing at helping us come up with a plan for helping h...im get healthy and spent a lot of time with me talking over everything we needed to know. Dr. Coppa (hope I spelled it correctly) also took the time to talk to me on the phone for about 30 min when Dr. Park wasn't available, to make sure we got exactly what we needed. The other assistants/front office staff are also wonderful (Jenna, Alexandra, Kristin and others!) for being super patient with a stressed out cat-mom and making sure I had all the tools and information I needed to help nurse our little guy back to health. Plus, Frank the House Cat is n awesome, snuggly guy who sat with me while I was waiting for my cat to be ready to go. Really glad we went with BVH! Ver mais Read Less

Broadway Veterinary Clinic did an excellent job providing end-of-life care to my little cat, Dixie. I really appreciate how quickly they moved on trying to diagnose her, as well as their honesty in providing a cost-benefit analysis of how far to take her care. They were exceptionally communicative, understanding, caring and kind. Even though I was out of town during her quick heath decline, they spoke with me multiple times a day and included me in everything they did for her. It was really hard being gone while she was going through such a tough time, but I honestly felt very comforted by the fact that they were watching over her and giving her a bunch of love in my absence. I choose this clinic because I thought being a 24/7 clinic meant specialists were on staff. My cat had a blocked urethra, and he came home after a three night stay bleeding. After a week, we returned. They did unnecessary exploratory surgery. My cat was clearly in ongoing pain, I was told it was my own head. He was peeing blood everywhere. Dr. McWilliams said I was a "bad match" for my cat and offered to keep him for a week. During that week, I assumed he would observe and treat my cat's medical symptoms and stop blaming them on my imagination. He did not. He simply kept him caged, and when I responded with alarm after finding out at the end of that week (I called daily and was assured tests were being run) he reassured me everything could be fixed with a PU surgery. A PU surgery is only appropriate for a cat with repeated blocks -- not one block that a vet screws up. The PU surgery site then became infected. Again, he blew me off -sent the cat home in a restraining cone, no meds, no pain killers saying it wasn't an infection, just irritation from overgrooming. The infection was so severe you could smell it. With the cone on, he couldn't clean off the pus so you could see it, too. At that point we went to Blue Pearl Veterinary who fixed up the surgery site infection, assessed the situation with a diagnostic ultrasound (rather than an exploratory surgery as was performed TWICE at Broadway) and sent us home with the correct antibiotics and pain meds. His behavior changed immediately -- I was not "imagining" his pain. However, due to the PU surgery, my cat now has recurrent UTIs (5 in the past 18 months), and the bacteria is now resistant to most antibiotics. All this because I was too stupid to go to Blue Pearl in the first place. Do not take your cat with bladder or urinary blocks to this place. Please. PS -- Dr. McWilliams made transgender jokes about the PU surgery. That's like saying a man who loses his penis in an accident or from cancer is now a woman. Not scientifically or politically correct. He also said he hoped I would abandon my cat to him to keep as an office cat he could use as a blood donor. PPS -- Get Trupanion Insurance. Read Less

Broadway Veterinary Hospital is the best veterinarian facility I've ever known, and Greg McWilliams is a simply tremendous vet. Just one story: Two years ago my 17-year-old cat, Niko, had a stroke. I took him in to Broadway Veterinary, painfully sure that I would never be bringing him home again. But Greg (whom I was meeting that day for the first time) said that he thought perhaps Niko could pull through -- and with the excellent care he received from Greg and the BVH staff, he did. He was somewhat slower and more deliberate for the remaining year of his life, but comfortable and happy throughout. That year was an immense gift, one for which I give all the credit to Greg and his crew. At the end of that year, after a second stroke, it seemed that the time had come when I had to let Niko go; and when that time came, it was a great comfort to me that it was Greg who set him, cradled in my arms, free. I brought my 17-year-old cat into Broadway Vet Hospital because her legs inexplicably stopped working. Dr. McWilliams took great care of her and ran a few tests to start the process of figuring out what was wrong. He was great at explaining all the possible causes and solutions for what was going on with her, while being very kind and optimistic, yet realistic about her age and ability to respond to complicated surgery or treatments. Unfortunately we found out it was the worst-case scenario right after I left town for a family emergency. I had a friend drop off my cat to them and they boarded her there for a few days while they ruled out other things that might be wrong with her, making sure to call me every step of the way to let me know how she was doing and what they were trying next. It was so hard to be away from her while her health was declining so quickly, but I knew she was in very good hands. They sent me pictures of her and gave her heat pads to keep her warm and comfortable, and even let a few of her friends come to visit her and pet her while she was there.Eventually we discovered that her only options were remarkably expensive tests that would only lead to surgery that she most likely couldn't survive, and they broke the news very gently while keeping her warm, comfortable, and out of pain until I could decide what to do. I had never had to euthanize a pet before so they let me talk to multiple doctors about any other possible options and what would be best for her. Everyone in their office took very special care of her and because of their willingness to make house calls she got to spend her last day at home. Although losing her was completely awful, they made it a very calm and loving experience and I know they did everything they possibly could for her, while giving her exceptional care. I really can't thank them enough for everything they did for both of us, and will definitely take my other cat there for care. Read Less

Recently, one of my cats had a medical emergency and they worked him in seamlessly and compassionately. I haven't had the issues that others have described in terms of late or cancelled appointments or flaky staff. And as the management has completely changed over in the past year or so, I've found the transition to be smooth and am happy with the current state of the practice. Our four cats have been cared for by Broadway Veterinary Hospital for several years. That ended yesterday. After two very bad experiences with them, we decided to move on. If your time is valuable and important to you, be aware that having an appointment does not guarantee your pet will be seen at that time. In fact, I routinely had to wait unreasonable amounts of time past my appointment time to be seen. Second, be aware that they will try to push products and tests for your pet even if unnecessary, and they'll put fear in you that your pet is worse than he or she really is, as it happened with a simple food indisposition with one of our cats. I went to Broadway Vet for years before ownership changed. After ownership changed, I found the staff unprofessional and unhelpful, and the advertising misleading. A few things:1. This is not a 24-hour emergency vet, despite extensive advertising. The fact that they are advertising this service really worries me, because if animals are having an actual emergency, it's important to get them to a doctor ASAP. People and pets could lose critical time taking their dogs here only to find out they don't provide 24-hour emergency services. Of everything this practice does, I think this advertising is the most harmful and worrisome.2. Last summer my dog had an anal gland abscess that we treated at an emergency vet. The day after it was removed, my dog was in extreme pain, and we needed to get him pain medicine as soon as possible. The emergency vet was willing to call a local vet to give them the information needed and the prescription, but Broadway Vet refused to fill it, because we hadn't brought our dog in for a full exam in over a year. They claimed they had no record of him in their system, and yet over a year later, I keep getting emails from them reminding me to bring him in for various services (we now take him to Urban Animal for all his regular care). It kills me that we brought in a dog in pain, and they refused to help him in any way. I can't imagine people who truly care about animals doing that. Thankfully, Urban Animal filled the prescription for our dog instead.3. When I did take my dog to Broadway Vet regularly, they charged me for a full exam every time my dog came in, and then had him come in for his regular annual exam on top of that. At Urban Animal, they look at the records to see how recently he had an exam, and don't do one if he doesn't need it. Read Less

I have been taking my two cats here for about four years now and had great experiences in the past. Unfortunately it seems the staff has turned over and there are serious management issues. My cat had an eye infection so I got a 6pm appointment after work last week. When I arrived there was a woman in the lobby hysterically crying and yelling that they put down her pet without consulting her first (scary!). The vet looked extremely irritated and stomped into the back room then CALLED the receptionist from the back room to tell her to get rid of his last appointment (me). The receptionist told me the vet had a sudden family emergency and that I needed to leave. WOW. I've had 2 major incidents over 3 years. First, they lost my cat's blood sample and they weren't even aware I was waiting for results. I had to call them 3 times until I found someone who could explain what happened. It turned out to be a serious thyroid problem. I decided to give them a second chance. Last weekend I took my cats in for a flea injection (they told me this was the best option - only have to administer twice a year). I received a reminder card for the shots for both of my cats. I also got a reminder call and spoke to the receptionist who told me that they were set for the appointments. When I arrived 2 days later, they didn't have the shots. I asked the tech when they ran out and he didn't know -- and then informed me they weren't going to order the injections any longer. When I asked the tech and vet why I received reminders -- they didn't know and didn't seem to care. It's such a pain for me to get my cats in the carriers -- so this was an especially frustrating experience. When I had Boxers, I took them to GreenLake Vets and never had one issue in 12 years. So I know great vets do exist. My friends in Capitol Hill recommend JetCity. I'm looking forward to going some place new. Read Less

Do not go to this place for an emergency. This place advertises themselves as a "24 hr emergency hospital" but it wasn't for us. Our dog became anemic due to internal bleeding so we went here as it was closest hospital to us. It was about 7pm on a saturday. We were let in the front door to be told that there were no doctors on site and they sent us away. This is a very dangerous false advertisement when in an emergency situation. Read Less

Do NOT take your pet here if it's an emergency. They will take advantage of your already emotional state to charge you for as many unnecessary services as possible. My boyfriend and I went here in February to take our cat in, because my I had found him drooling excessively and we wanted to see what that was all about. We noticed a pack of Goody's headache powders (mixture of acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine) on the floor, and also wanted to make sure that none of it was in his system. This combination can be extremely harmful to cats, so we wanted to see if it had at least gotten into his system and was causing the drooling. They took him to do a blood test, in another room where we weren't allowed, and we started to hear our cat freaking out at the top of his lungs and hearing stuff crashing on the floor as they yelled "Get her! Get her!" (We went over "his" story many times, and this was the first of many times they called him "her", one of many clear signs they weren't really listening and weren't taking much of a consultative approach, as we would find out). We became extremely suspicious of the fact that professional veterinarians and their assistants couldn't handle an 8 lb cat, and that there were just objects around that apparently could fall off of the shelves/countertops...? Anyway they came back into the room we were waiting in and asked us if they could administer a sedative, because they were still unable to hold him down and take blood. At that point we really had no choice but to say ok, still thinking why on earth can't these people handle a little cat? After they did some blood work one doctor came in and said--and I remember this verbatim, because of how ridiculous it was--that "even though we found no signs of any of these ingredients in her system, we are positive that she got into the powder." (To reiterate, our cat is male). I said "how's that??" to which the response was one of many long, convoluted, indirect answers we would get that night that just made it obvious that they were trying to really milk this into as much money as they could get. I was already freaking out and crying, and it was clear that they were taking advantage of that. They would say, many times, things like "he WILL die soon unless we do X Y and Z", and "oh my god! I've never heard of this stuff but this will kill him quickly unless we do something!" I understood that this could potentially be very serious, but he showed no symptoms and tests were negative, so why go on and on and tell us he's going to die?!? So unprofessional. She had to use a textbook to look up side effects and symptoms, kept calling him "her" after we corrected her many times, and said that we'd be in the clear if he seems good after 12 hours..then it changed to 24 hours....then eventually they said well, to be really safe, 72 hours will be recommended. They said that we should then take "her" to another affiliated hospital and do more tests and overnight stays, which would cost anywhere between $2000 and $4000. We said well, let's keep him here overnight at least and check on him in the morning. The total for all the services so far, including the overnight stay, would be $600. They promised that they would call us 7:00 AM the next morning, which they did not. In the morning, we had to call them. They said he still did not have symptoms but wanted to keep him an extra day. We decided nope, we will end this right now and come get him. When we picked him up and brought him home, he had DRIED POOP on his leg and on his stomach. I stormed back and demanded to know why our cat was smothered in his own feces and why it had not be cleaned, and the vet just responded "oh, I'm so sorry. Sometimes this happens..." Basically clear to me that they did not check on him throughout the night and didn't bother to check him in the morning, or even worse, noticed poop on him and didn't care to take the time to clean him. I am shocked at the negligence of this facility. I cannot speak for the doctor, but the staff definitely needs to be trained little better. Our Boston Terrier got out of the yard, he has microchip which I had called and reported him lost/stolen. Appropriately 2 weeks later our lost/reported stolen dog was brought into their office and dropped off as a stray dog. The office staff had called me to tell me our dog was located and able to be picked up at their office. So we dropped everything and headed to pick him up. Well when we arrived 45 minutes later we were told our dog was no longer there. That aprox 5 minutes after they called me they had given our dog back to the lady whom brought the dog in. They gave a reported stolen dog away to someone whom they neglected to ask for her identification to show she is legal owner (like my vets office does). Not exactly sure what kind of shady business this is, but to just give out dog whom they scanned and can see in black and white owner's reported stolen without asking for proper identification to compare to names phone numbers and even home address listed on microchip. I'm not confident in this office or it's staff. They were not too helpful and didn't seem to be able to answer simple questions on why they think trafficking a stolen dog will be taken lightly. I hope they can manage to find our dog if they can't seem to fix their mistake I will be making it mission to make them be held responsible for their negligence. I have called 5 other local seattle vetranarian office's and every single office said it is mandatory owner must show proper identification in order to pick up and lost/stray/stolen dog that is brought in. I hope I wake up to an apology for their action's and them telling me they have my dog. If they cannot fix their fk up I am taking this to the fullest extent of the law. The dog's worth is over $999.00 so unfortunately for them that's a felony and being's my family work's in the law enforcement fields I don't think I should have any issues especially since the nice business across the way has agreed to show me the video camera tape facing the vetranarians office parking lot. Shouldn't be too hard to get license plates and name amd address of persons whom took my dog in to their facility. My suggestion is never take your beloved pet to this office, they don't care for them like we pet owner's do. I bet they wouldn't give there pet to just anyone. What a disappointment for my daughter whom had her hopes up by their phone call saying they had her dog had been found and crushing her feeling when she arrived to pick up her doggie. I hope this office gets thier shit together and treats their customers like they would want to be treated. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I am making it my mission to be sure this whole city knows how they operate with such neglaiance.Read Less

I promised my new baby bunny Bon Bon a wonderful life and that no matter what, I promised to take care of her. As months pass, I noticed her eye changing to a lighter shade of brown until one day a white mass started to develop in her cornea. My poor baby!!Bon Bon's daddy has a shop next to Broadway Vet and made an appointment and during that visit we found out it was a parasite! Oh nooo!!! The nurses and the doctor were beyond helpful and caring the moment we stepped in, through the process of medication and the decision of the removal of the eye.Ok. Bon Bon goes under anesthesia and I get a call that "she" is actually a "HE"!! Oops... How embarrassing. Anyway, I pick HIM up the same day, eye removed and neutered (jokes insert here, but I know that it would have been better in the long run). The nurses made him a wittle pirate eye patch with wittle carrots on it!!!! I swear, when I say beyond, they went to the moon and back for Bon Bon!I've been working with eyes (for humans) for 9 years, caring for patients which include enucleations as well, and they not only took care of my bunny but they also reminded me of patient care. Thanks to Broadway Vet I not only have a happy healthy bunny but I also hope to be able to give that same love, care and attention to my patients... Dr McWilliams, Janna, Kelley, Amanda and... Shoot. I used to own two kittens, Odin and Loki (they were brothers), and when we took them both in to Broadway Vet, they were treated with great respect. The male assistant guy was kind of rude (didn't strike me as much of a people person, or very experienced with freaked out cats), but the woman doctor was exceptional. The price was a tad high, but that's to be expected with most veterinary care. I don't know about their overnight care, though, as my kittens were only going in for routine shots and check-up. I've also twice taken in cats that I've found abandoned. The first was 3 newborn kittens I found alone and crying out at Volunteer Park and the second was a large old cat that I found meowing and trembling down by I-5. Both times they immediately assessed the cats' health situation and jumped right on providing them care. With the kittens, they cleaned them and bottle fed them right off the bat, and with the old cat, they called the number on the cat's tag (some animal tracking company) and quickly got information to them to notify the owner. Of course I wasn't charged for any of this as they weren't my cats to begin with. The cat I have now (lost the other two in the divorce) is healthy and fortunately her previous owner is a vet tech at another vet office, so she provides free service for my kitty whenever it's needed. But if that changes, I'd take my kitty to this clinic, even if it put me into debt for awhile. She's so worth it. Read Less

I worked at and took my pets to Broadway Veterinary Hospital for almost four years. I now live in Albuquerque and I am starting to realize how lucky I was to have worked with such an amazing veterinary clinic. I went to the vet near my dad?s house in Las Cruces and had lab work and a basic urinalysis done. We were given absolutely no feedback on the results. Nothing. The results were not terrible and only showed mild dehydration, but we weren?t called and told this. Nor were we given suggestions on how to prevent dehydration. After the amount of information I saw given to owners at Broadway Vet, I was very disappointed. Another woman?s dog was defecating in the house. Her vet gave dewormer, but did nothing else. I was able to use BVH?s web site to search for information about housetraining that she used to fix the situation. While looking for veterinary care for my own cats, I have asked about the amount of Continuing Education received by the staff, about the kind of equipment available to diagnose and treat my cats, and about their philosophies when it comes to preventative care, and no one has even come close to the standards I saw at Broadway. All I can do is choose the clinic that comes closest, the one that makes me cringe the least when I think of the care I am used to receiving. Broadway Veterinary Hospital is constantly keeping up with the kinds of technology that really help pets. They want to train and empower their staff. They really care about the pets and the clients. I cannot tell you how many times I saw members of the staff cry over a pet that just didn?t make it. I like the longer days here in the Southwest, but I will never stop missing Broadway Vet. I have never had a more negative, frustrating, and disheartening experience with a veterinarian than with Dr. Gertinger and Dr. Cornman. My boyfriend and I had to take our very ill kitten to their clinic three times in one week, and they made it clear they that didn?t have the best interest of the animal or its owner in mind. They suggested even more excessive diagnostic tests after we had already done several different unsuccessful tests and it was clear that our kitty's chances at recovery were very slim (and only possible if the cat were hospitalized with them for at least a month with a feeding tube placed). On two occasions did they not return my phone calls for a whole day when my cat's condition was clearly critical and we needed to make decisions urgently. Lastly, only after first suggesting that we do more invasive and expenisve tests, did she admit that it might be best to have him euthanized. I later fount out that she suggested to my boyfriend that we keep our sick kitty quarantined from our other cat, for reasons I don?t understand. By this time, I had done a great amount of my own research on our kitten?s condition, and of the two possible diseases he had, neither were contagious! Did she really want him to spend his last days sick and lonely without his friend? Our cat had a seizure on the next day, and it was clear to us that we had to put him out of his misery as soon as possible. When we called to let our vet know we were going to come in for the procedure, we were told that there were NO AVAILABLE APPOINTMENTS! In the end, we had to drive him all the way across town to an Emergency Clinic. It pains me to think about how this all would have ended if we had listened to the Doctor?s suggestion and gone through with more tests. Our little kitten would then have spent his last day at a doctor?s office undergoing all kinds of invasive procedures. Or he would have been in a room, by himself, without the comfort of his friend. Earlier this year I had the grand misfortune of almost losing my pet to their greed and ineptitude. My older kitty was suffering some serious, but manageable (it turns out), problems requiring diligence and careful monitoring. I brought my kitty to their hospital and initially believed he was in good hands. In reality, they were not monitoring him in the fashion I had asked. When I enquired to his progress, they would tell me that his condition was not improving. Upon review of the bill (an invoice they wouldn't provide for me until AFTER the ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR bill was paid in full) I discovered that they were LYING to me. They hadn't done any of the specific, simple tests that were the ONLY way to assess his progress. They prescribed him 4 weeks of antibiotics for a one week stay (administering 1/4 of it while he was in their ""care"" and shafting me for the rest). They told me he was eating normally, but when I purchased the food THEY sell and brought it home he wouldn't touch it! It took me 30 minutes with a wet towel to wash the crusted antibiotics out of his fur (he's a squirmy guy) and he'd lost a considerable amount of weight. They kept my cat for an entire week (I finally decided that something was dreadfully wrong and removed him --against their wishes) in the PROCEEDURES ROOM! He was eye level with the proceedures table. He must have believed that I abandoned him to a kitty torture chamber. I took my cat home and made an appointment with Dr Boudreaux at the Capital Hill Animal Clinic (BEST VET I'VE EVER SEEN) and the cat that the vets at Broadway were telling me had 2 weeks to live has now gained ALL the weight back, his health is improving! He's my best friend and cost isn't the biggest issue (I'd do anything for him) but! It's also like 1/10 the cost! I seriously believe that all professional monitoring entities in the state should be keeping very close tabs on these people. Read Less

THIS WAS THE WORST VETERINARY CARE I HAVE EVER RECIEVED IN MY LIFE! not only were they expensive {overcharged}, but when i arrived to pick up my puppy from boarding for 10 days she had lost a great deal of weight. The nurse explained to me that she had ""attitude"" when they tried to give her shots and nipped at one of the technicians. I was worried & asked if the bite was serious, ""no. didn't break the flesh."" he explained ""just attitude"". He proceeded to explain how because of this behaviour she was placed in a quarantine of solitary confinement for 6 days. I couldn't believe it. She weighs 3.6 lbs. He said that she wouldn't eat & therefore wouldn't use the bathroom, so they gave her an enema. Never once did they call me to let me know of this problem they were having with. He recomended I pay $250 min. for a consultation w/a dog behavioral specialist through them. The day I picked her up she drank so much water she threwup & couldn't jump up on to things because she was so weak from not having any nutrients. 2 days & she is finally starting to get back to her normal self. I was so appaled at this I felt it necessary to write a letter warning everyone of this clinic. They use high prices as a cover for their seedy operations. They charged me for all of this sh*t I never asked them to do, like clip her nails $35! I noticed that they keep some dogs outside in gravel cages. I saw a miniature poodle, maybe 10 lbs. in one. It has been regularly below freezing. They don't walk the dogs while they're boarded. The people at the front desk are wonderful, which fooled me. I had met the veterinarian previously and didn't like her right away. She reads too many books about caring for dogs that her ideas of care are so far out she thinks hugging your dog too much is harmful to its behaviour. While i dissagree with her, I never thought my dog would be in danger there. hope you listen & take your pets elsewhere X Read Less

I am not a veterinarian so can't say for sure, but I have a feeling these people overcharged me. I took my very old cat there because his kidneys were enlarged. After doing several tests, all they could tell me was that a) his kidneys were abnormally large; and b) several blood and urine tests revealed that he was in the early phases of kidey failure. For some reason, all this cost me $350. I tried several times to get a breakdown of exactly what I paid for, but could never get a straight answer. The staff are very nice, but I would absolutely go elsewhere if you don't have infinite financial resources to spend on your pets, and if you're concerned about what you're being charged for. I will completely agree with previous reviews that the care at this facility is top notch. The staff is very courteous and takes great care of our pets. Unfortunately, we were told that there were certain tests that needed to be run. We were advised that sometimes the samples could die before making it to the lab. We accepted that risk. After getting results back, we found that the samples did in fact die before getting to the lab and we were informed that they can never get the samples there in time.

Read Less

My cat had an eye infection so I got a 6pm appointment after work last week. The vet looked extremely irritated and stomped into the back room then CALLED the receptionist from the back room to tell her to get rid of his last appointment (me). Read Less

Shoot. All the nurses! Thank you! Read Less

Also, I have had no problem arranging payment plans. As to not getting an itemized list of charges I have never seen this to be true. Recently I took my dog in to get several teeth removed and the rest cleaned. The technician sat down with me and explained every item on the lists(and it was a big list). I feel that if it's ""never"" a successful venture, it's not a solution that should be offered to a patient and I should not have had to pay.
