My beautiful and very well loved toy poodle Eva Charlotte got sick, got better, then pulled a muscle in her back (intense few months) after several doctor visits and a trip to emergency, my poodle and I have been through the ringer. Here's how it all went down: After visiting my vet three times for undiagnosed stomach issues (Giardia), then another vet for a second opinion and the trip to the pet hospital, I decided to move vets. Not because my other vet was bad, just inconvenient. Long story shortened: I read the reviews for EB and must say, I was nervous and apprehensive but wanted to give it a go as they are close to my house, and back in the day, they had a kick ass reputation (and frankly, still do for the most part). Here are my findings: Ebony who I know from my former vet works here now, which is comforting. She gets me and my "my dog's special" vibe. Dr. Wiele (SP) was our doctor. She's been vetting it up for thirty years, so she has seen it all. She's very professional, knows her stuff, very matter of fact, and didn't try to sell me anything (unusual for a vet, now if I could only get my dentist to do the same:). I didn't find EB to be any more expensive than any other vet I've seen. I also asked for estimates on all procedures, which they were more than happy to provide. Everyone should ask for an estimate, no one likes to be surprised particularly when dealing with your sick pet.The staff is friendly, efficient, and the practice seems like a well-oiled machine. I have nothing negative to say at this point so, apart from some of the yelp reviews complaining about the high prices, which I agree can be upsetting as a pet owner, and being oversold (Every vet does that now a days) I do recommend this practice. Just ask for costs and options up front and be clear that you don't want to be oversold, essentially, you're employing them to work on your pet, in a kind way, you ask for what you want. The end.
