Gurm and each member of our medical team is well-versed in the advanced techniques of veterinary medicine, dentistry, anesthesia, and veterinary technology. We also embrace holistic medicine such as acupuncture and herbal treatments.

The staff here are amazing. I have moved to WS but will continue to bring my dog here. They know him and understand his needs (and mine). My dog is special needs and they have taken time to listen to his history of ups and downs at other offices to make appropriate procedural changes for him in their office. They even took turns after today's procedure of dental extractions to hold him like a baby because that's how he feels most secure. Thank you so much Madison Park staff!!

Wonderful and knowledgeable staff. I had to take my dog in for a scary diagnosis and surgery (mast cell tumor in the paw) and they made me and my dog feel very cared for.

DR. BARRY KATZ is one of the most professional, trustworthy and incredible veterinarians you will ever meet. When our dog Reuben was in severe pain and none of the specialists at the Kirkland SVS could figure it out (after we spent $7000 for tests, etc. - no less!!) - Dr. Katz was simply amazing and was able to determine that our dog had cancer in the spine. Even though it was very bad news, Dr. Katz really solved the mystery for us and was extremely compassionate. He is now the only vet we trust in Seattle....we will not go to anyone else unless his office is closed and we are desperate. Do your self a favor, if you love your pet, go see Dr. Katz. He will never recommend something that your pet doesn't need and is very quick to help you and your pet in times of need.

Dr. Katz is amazing! He takes such good care of my dogs and seems to actually be concerned about whether they are doing well or not. I live in north seattle and make the journey down to Madison Park any time we need to go to the vet. Everyone there is so nice. I work at a medical insurance company for pets and I've been to lots of vets, but the search was over when I found Dr. Katz and Madison Park Veterinary!

In 2009, I first took my cat to Madison Park Vet because she required a health certificate to fly. She got more than a check up stating that she was physically functional; she was treated for her holistic wellness. The doctor provided an herbal sedative that was tasty and helped calm my cat before her flight, it was an unexpected dimension to animal care. Since then Dr Katz has been caring for Boo and he and his team have outstanding expertise.

We travel over 1.5 hours to take our animals to Dr. Byrd. She has cared for our pets for almost 10 years and I only wish I had followed half her advice! Dr. Byrd used to practice near us but over the years moved around the Seattle area until she finally started her own practice in Madison Park. We tried a few other vets over the years but not a single one of them had the skills and passion that she ALWAYS brought to bear on our pets. She has seen the very best and the very worst of this industry and has managed to come through the years with her dedicaton to the animals intact. So many of the other vets we tried were doing it for the money. Dr. Byrd is truly amazing and a is real gift to Seattle.

I have been a client at Madison Park Veterinary with Dr. Teri Byrd for years. She is by far the most knowledgeable and caring vet I have encountered in my many years of animal ownership. I run a local animal rescue and have thus had countless appointments with her, and I have never once had a bad experience. She has helped me save the lives of many, many animals. Dr. Byrd's passion for veterinary medicine and animals in general is evident in how she cares for her animal patients, and she is extremely hepful to her clients. Dr. Byrd is responsible for saving the lives of many of my rescue cats, and most importantly my beloved personal cat. Dr. Byrd helped my cat through a life threatening illness that not even an internal medicine specialist coudl solve. She took it upon herself to see my cat even when she did not have time in the schedule, to figure out what was wrong with her when no one else could, and to call and check on her after appointments. There are not many veterinarians that would personally call to check on their patients, and that would care so deeply for them. I too was worried about some of the reviews I saw on these sites before I took my pets to Dr. Byrd, but trust me, they are misleading and in my opinion completely erroneous. Our 13yr old Pug, who is a two time cancer survivor, and patient at this vet. Meaning we wrote our check to Madison Park Vet Clinic was denied antibiotics for a urinary infection by Dr. Byrd. She said she did not know the dog. Our phone call was returned at 330pm although the initial call was placed at 8Am. At 330pm we were told she could not help us. So we were left to go to after hours critical care, for a UTI because our vet clinic didn't have time to help our dog. Note the owner's comments in the reviews. They are all lies. I did communicate my disatifaction with Dr. Byrd, and never got a response. Dr. Byrd does not care about your pets. She apparently has a hard time keeping staff, see her craiglist ad. for Vet. Tech ""She does not tolerate Gossip in the office"" I'm sure that is because all the Gossip is about her many negative reviews. Stay away from Cruella De Madison Park.

Dr. Katz is amazing! He takes such good care of my dogs and seems to actually be concerned about whether they are doing well or not. I live in north seattle and make the journey down to Madison Park any time we need to go to the vet. Everyone there is so nice. I work at a medical insurance company for pets and I've been to lots of vets, but the search was over when I found Dr. Katz and Madison Park Veterinary!

She got more than a check up stating that she was physically functional; she was treated for her holistic wellness.
