Pet Care Center has been caring for our 6-month old Golden Retriever since he was 8-weeks. Great people and they've done an excellent job helping keep him happy and healthy. We did have one emergency scare where we had to go to an animal hospital for treatment. They suggested a number of expensive services as aftercare, which we declined because we wanted Pet Care Center's opinion the next day as they knew Charlie best. They advised us there was no need for the extensive tests/treatment and saved us quite a bit of time and money. They'll continue to be our regular Vet so long as we live in the area. Read Less

We've been taking our pets to the Pet Care Center at Luna Park for at least 10 years. The staff are unfailingly friendly, gentle, and kind. Our cat is always calm and relaxed. We recommend this place to all pet owners in West Seattle! For a while now, my mom has been telling me to no longer go to the Pet Care Center...Since I was a little girl all my cats have come to this vet. When we starting coming it was Dr. Chris and he was amazing. The new owners always "seemed" nice to me, but after my last experience I had to do some reconsidering...A few weeks ago, I brought in my sick cat, the woman at the front desk told me that the doctor was "done for the day" and I'd have to bring my cat to an emergency clinic downtown. It was 4:00 on a weekday and she wanted me to drive all the way downtown, even though there was another emergency hospital about 5 minutes away...The other emergency hospital (5 minutes away) showed great empathy and saw my sweet kitty. (Side note, this other place said this was the 2nd time this week that the Pet Care Center turned someone away that they knew of).As it turned out, my cat was more than a little sick. She died three days later. The unkindness of the Pet Care Center could not have prevented this, but they certainly could have shown some compassion. This terrible experience made me think of some other issues I have experienced with the Pet Care Center, my mom a few years ago brought her sick cat to them & after spending over $1,000 they told her the cat was back in good health & 3 days later the cat died, a while back I brought my cat in for a small issue and they told me that they would call in a week to check up on her & they never did, and I never receive annual appointment reminders for a well check up (which is something that use to be normal routine.)I see they have many good reviews, but I would not recommend this place. When you really need them they may or may not be their for your pet! So keep looking for a vet. Read Less

Thank goodness we have vets like this in West Seattle. They really care about my little Boo Boo and Precious. I have been taking my furry family (dogs and cats) to Pet Care Center for years now. The whole staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. They saved my mini Aussie Shepherd when she got tangled up with Foxtale. I can always count on them to spend the time to figure out what is wrong and follow up with me afterwards. I have been going to pet care center for years. They helped me through losing my beloved husky to helping with a brand new puppy. They are attentive and thorough. I completely trust their advice and believe they have the pets best interest at heart. They do not push tests or medicines or procedures that are unnecessary. Their prices are reasonable as well. I have been taking my animals, a dog and two cats, to the Pet Care Center at Luna Park for over 6 years and have always had a great experience. The staff are very caring and concerned and I always get reminders and call backs which are very helpful. Medications for the animals are reasonably priced and similar to the online prices so I would much rather buy from a trusted vet. Online access to my pets records are also a plus. I very highly recommend this clinic. They have been my primary vet for two dogs -- one with cancer, and one with epilepsy. The care is outstanding. Diagnostics are thorough and broad thinking. This place is really nice, the parking lot is a pain but with how friendly the staff is you can overlook it very easily. They offer pet lodging for a reasonable price, so if you need to flea bomb or are doing some remodeling or even moving they'll take care of your pet for the day! This saved us when our water tank failed once and they were happy to same day us. The vets are very knowledgeable as well. They don't do appointments here though, so plan your day accordingly as their non peak times are when everyone is at work. My husband came home at 10:30pm last night to find a cat who had a tag for your center on his collar wandering our alley. My husband called your number and left a message stating we had found the cat but were unfortunately unable to take her in due to allergies and our dog. We did our best to keep the cat in our backyard however she got out. The most upsetting part is we did not receive a response from you after our message and being pet owners ourselves found this to be very unsettling. The lesson we have learned is that we will not be using your place of business for our pet needs nor refer others to your business. I am in utter shock we did not receive at least a call stating you had received our message and were concerned yourselves for the cats well being. I took my dog Pepsi to Pet Care Center at Luna Park for most of his life, and in spite of his behavioral problems (the result of abuse by his previous owners) they treated him as if he were as much their family as he was mine.
