I love this Vet clinic. I am a dogsitter and have had the privilege of taking care of 2 dogs whom have been/are patients at the clinic. When the elder of the 2 started to make his transition from this world, his veterinarian at VCA Magnolia worked with his owner to help make the decision and the process one that was both gentle and beautiful that I was blessed to be present for as well. The assistants and other vet I have seen and worked with when bringing in younger "sister" pup for health issues that came up during my care with her have been compassionate, patient, kind, and informative. They know me as her little dog nanny and treat me with the same respect as her owner and treat her with so much love and gentle kindness. They also really know each of their pet clients and their personalities well! I can't say enough nice things about the staff and care here at VCA Magnolia. Read Less

My wife has brought our pets here for years and realized that this clinic is rip off after finding a new Vet. My advice go some where else anywhere else !! This vet is more about taking your money then taking care of animals. We brought our cat into VCA magnolia when it was hit by car. They gave us a initial assessment in 5 minutes and then gave us a quote without checking the cats condition. The charge was $1000 dollars and nothing was wrong with the cat. The initial charge just to see the cat was $200. Our dog was brought in for bladder infection because it pees in the house. $600 dollars and the outcome was no treatment. Our cat recently got into a big fight and we took the cat to new Vet in West Seattle. His tail was broken , ear was bleeding , cat was howling when it moved. The new vet checked out the cats condition made as assessment and charged us $75 including shots.. VCA magnolia wouldn't even see the cat for under $ 200. Maybe convenience is more important than money if not go some else. Read Less

I just moved to Seattle a month ago. Two weeks here and I noticed that my 14 1/2 year old, deaf and blind pug, had an infection in her eye. I called VCA Magnolia because it is the closest to me. I took Ting in and saw Dr. Fang. I had been considering letting Ting go for months, but whenever I got serious about that and talked to our old vet, Ting would rally. She was still happy to be with me. Anyway, we discussed that and I told her about Ting. Turned out Ting's cornea was ulcerated and infected. We decided to give her antibiotics while I got in to see a veterinary opthamologist. When Dr. Fang went to get the antibiotics, it looked like Ting might need to go to the bathroom, so I took her outside. Everything being unfamiliar and trying to get out the door, she bumped into my heel - and the ulcer exploded in a shower of blood. Awful. I ran back in, and the staff ran for Dr. Fang. It was clear - time to let her go. Here I was with an unfamiliar vet, yet I knew I could trust Dr. Fang. Dr. Fang was so kind and gentle with both Ting and me. A few days later, I received a lovely condolence card signed by the entire staff, but most significantly was that Dr. Fang included a personal note that showed clearly how she had listened to everything I had told her about Ting. It was so touching. A week after I picked up Ting's ashes, I received another card saying that a tree had been planted in a national forest in Ting's memory. I am so completely touched by the kindness of Dr. Fang and the staff there. When my other animals need veterinary care, I will be calling Dr. Fang. Read Less
