Services:
Medicine-Alpine View offers comprehensive health care for both canines and felines. Our experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly veterinarians coupled with our caring support staff provide compassionate health care for all your pets needs. We provide wellness and supportive care, annual physical health exams, vaccinations, identification implantation, health certificates, and so much more. Our in-house laboratory enables us to perform our own complete blood testing, microscopic examinations, cytologies, bacteriology, and urine evaluations. Therefore, all critical cases receive the necessary tests results immediately, thus allowing us to begin the required treatment for each specific condition.
Surgery-Our highly skilled veterinarians combined with the surgical assistance of our experienced In-Patient Nurses perform a variety of surgeries. From routine spays, neuters, and de-claws, to major tumor removals, lacerations, fracture repairs, and extensive orthopedic surgeries. We pride ourselves in being able to offer our clients competent, personalized care, using modern technology, current surgical monitoring equipment, and up to date expertise.
Dentistry-Our professional dental cleanings are performed while the pets are under anesthesia. The dental cleanings are scheduled Monday through Friday and are performed by our Licensed Veterinary Technicians and In-Patient nurses together with our experienced veterinarians. Dental cleanings for animals are similar to those for humans including polishing, probing, charting, scaling, dental radiographs, and fluoride treatments. Oral care is as important for your pets as it is for you. Without proper dental care nearly 80% of dogs and 70% of cats shows signs or oral disease by the age of three.
Radiology & Pharmacology-Alpine View Veterinary Hospital is equipped with a complete radiology suite and full in house pharmacy. Therefore, radiographs can be taken, developed, and reviewed by our veterinarians within minutes. This provides us with the ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat an existing medical condition during the pet’s initial veterinary visit. Our full in house pharmacy allows us to immediately begin treatment for pets in need, and enables us to prescribe and refill the various medications needed long term to treat various conditions or diseases.
Full Service Boarding-
Our team at Alpine View is very excited to be able to offer full service boarding to all our deserving patients! The fee for our canine visitors is $24.00 a day and for felines it’s $21.00 a day.
If pets are on medication the “Medical Boarding” charge is $26.00 for dogs, $23.00 for cats.
We walk all of our boarded dogs four times a day, and there is no charge for any of the walks (most facilities charge $5-$7 per walk). If requested you can schedule supervised play sessions with your dog in our fully fenced outdoor play area for an additional fee of $5 per play session. We admit and discharge pets for our boarding facility Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 and Saturday from 8:00-1:00. There’s no Sunday pick up or drop off. We request that clients bring in their pets regular diet to avoid stomach upset from a sudden diet change, this is particularly important if pets are on a prescription diet. For their safety and wellbeing all pets must be current on vaccines (including-Distemper Parvo, Rabies, and Bordetella for dogs and FVRCP, Feline Leukemia, and Rabies for cats). All vaccines should ideally be administered at least four weeks prior to their visit.
If any of our pet guests have fleas while staying at Alpine View they will automatically be treated with Advantage or Capstar (at the owners expense) in order to not contaminate other pets in the clinic.
Tours of our hospital and boarding facility can be scheduled Monday-Friday in the afternoon from 2:00-3:00pm. We book up quickly, specifically over holiday weekends, therefore, we recommend that you call to reserve your pets space as early as possible.
Supplies-Alpine View stocks a complete line of flea and tick preventatives such as Sentinel, Trifexis, Advantage, and Revolution. We also have everything for your pet’s dietary needs including Science Diet and ProPlan prescription and non prescription diets. Grooming products, ear cleansers, vitamins, supplements, oral care products, treats, and cat litter are also available.
About Us:
Alpine View Veterinary Hospital, owned by Paul DeMaris D.V.M and wife Barb DeMaris has proudly served Snohomish, Monroe, and Woodinville communities since 1990. Upon commencement the small 600 square foot facility had only one veterinarian/owner and one additional employee. In 1993 Paul and Barb decided to remodel the clinic nearly doubling it’s square footage. However, as the years passed and the need for high quality pet care continued to grow, the once remodeled facility known as Alpine View Veterinary Clinic was removed and replaced with our new 5500 square foot hospital.
The modern facility consists of five spacious exam rooms and a large waiting area that boasts a beautiful view of the Cascades for all our waiting visitors. We have a full in-house pharmacy and in-house laboratory for on sight diagnostic testing and treatment. A large treatment area, special procedure suite, radiology suite, sterilization room, and our fully equipped surgery suite offers the space, equipment, and technology to care for all our patients needs. The additional space has allowed us to provide entirely separate cat and dog wards increasing the overall happiness of all our furry visitors. We have a separate isolation unit, nine large dog runs, and a fully fenced outdoor play area for our hospitalized or boarded patients.
Alpine View currently employs four experienced veterinarians and a knowledgeable support staff of twelve dedicated employees. Our entire team provides comprehensive and compassionate health care to all our deserving patients. We are honored to serve our clients who over the years have grown to become our friends. Here at Alpine view we realize that each pet and pet owner has different needs, therefore, treatment, wellness, and preventative care is tailored to the individual needs of each specific pet. We are proud to know that we can help make a difference in the lives of the patients we so love to treat.
