I love this vet. They went out of their way to help save my cat's eye over Memorial Day weekend, when I could get no other vet (including what used to be our regular vet) to see him. Dr Stokes is amazing as are the techs and nurses. We were in their office every weekend for 3 weeks straight and they are all awesome and so very caring and compassionate. During the eye trauma we also had to put our Beagle to sleep. They went above and beyond to make her, and us, comfortable and to honor her and our choices. They truly are the best and I will take all of my fur babies there from here on out. Thank you ladies!!!!!!

My dog was sick a few weeks ago and they were really helpful and kind to him. They diagnosed him and gave us some medication which seems to have made him better. I love that they are open on Sundays--it's really hard to find a vet on Sundays so of course that's the day my dog always gets really sick! They only negative comment I have is that it was very expensive.

I was looking for a vet because my dog has Addision’s Disease and I had just moved to town. I read the reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. I found the staff at the front desk to be very friendly and nice. However, it was the vet that ruined everything. I’d trust her with anything routine, like vaccines, but Addision’s requires a good doctor. Both my previous vets stressed that my dog needs a DAILY dose of prednisolone but this vet wanted me to give prednisolone every other day or only on stressful days. Following that poor advice could land my dog back in the emergency animal hospital. She was actually mixing up Addision’s Disease with Atypical Addision’s Disease. When I asked her what she thought of low dose protocol for percorten v, she lectured me about listening to stuff I read on the Internet, got insulted I even brought it up, and said she would research it but had already made up her mind that she would never recommend it. Even though I gave her a number to talk to a specialist (with more credentials than her) about it. Overall, I don’t trust the vet because she gave me bad advice and was closed off to new research.

I found their rates pretty reasonable compared to places I've taken my animals to in many other states. I've heard there's some cheaper vet clinics around this area but I wouldn't waste my time with any of them after having taken my dog here a few times. These folks are very good at their job, and very kind. I moved an hour away from Spokane valley now and I'll still be taking my dog back there this summer for his rabies booster and checkup. He's getting old... 😥

Took my dog here for the first time. Very clean place. Girls at the front we're super sweet. Wish the Vet was a little more personable as I'm looking for a place to call home to take my animals and feel like family. We we're in and out within 20minutes, paid $60, not complaining as I'd prefer that over waiting an hour but I also wasn't asked exactly which shots I wished or needed for my dog. They don't automatically give the bordetella (kennel cough) shot, so be to sure to request. I was thrown off when I went to take my dog to daycare the following week only to find out they couldn't take him because he was not given that specific shot.

This place is great! We had to bring our dog here for an emergency visit since our primary vet was closed. They were able to get us right in and immediately showed great empathy for our fur baby. Ninja was very sick and had to have IVs 3 days in a row they were able to get him back to feeling better and we are forever grateful. I would recommend this place to anyone needing veterinary services. We will for sure go back! Very compassionate staff! Thank you for saving my baby!

I brought our cat here for an emergency visit when our regular vet wasn't picking up the phone. The staff was so very accommodating with our unscheduled visit, and managed to get us in quickly. Our pet's injuries and age made for some difficult choices, and we ended up having to euthanize our cat. The vet and staff were so kind and empathetic during an extremely difficult time. They walked us through the process, offered options, and gave us as much time as we needed. It wasn't a happy experience, but if you find yourself in a situation where you have to ugly cry in front of strangers, these people truly made the experience as smooth as possible with their professionalism and kindness. I would highly recommend this clinic.

This is a supportive, caring and professional team. I established care with them a couple years ago, and they've always done a good job. Three months ago they helped save my Pomeranian, Seely, after he fractured his skull. They were professional and caring during the whole process. They helped intensely monitor him for the first couple days after the accident. They continued to be there on a daily basis for doggy daycare during his first month of recovery. They were so compassionate towards my dog, and friendly towards my husband and I. Three months later Seely is back to his regular self. He's running, playing, and starting to go for walks again. He's got a small head tilt and his hair is still growing back, but we couldn't be more thankful! Thank you Spokane Valley Vet Hospital!

They never even told us when we picked her up. We called back to ask why and we were told it was a miscommunication between the doctors. Then they removed the stitches too soon and her wound opened back up and of course they wanted a couple hundred dollars more for me to pay to fix ...it. There was no accountability on their part at all. In fact they tried to blame my dog for getting at it. She never even tried plus she was wearing a bandage over it and wearing a cone and never left alone for the entire two weeks. Oh and of course the post results for pathology came back with no cancer . When I questioned the vet how one pathology reports is cancer and the next one says none he said he did not know. More than $1000 dollars and a traumatized dog but the vet does not know? See More

We had to board our cat and dog for the first time in their lives. We have had a friend stay at our home once to care for them while we were away but never boarded before. The staff were amazing and took well care of our kids. Our cat has never been social and of course was the least happy....But they did an amazing job with her too. So if you have a timid animal or a social butterfly (like our dog)....They will take good care of them.
Oh! And they didn't mind us calling to check on them every day!

I have utilized this Vetrenary Hospital several times as I thought they had a high regard for the pets they took in to care for, how wrong I was. My little dog dislocated his rear leg and even though he was not in any pain I just needed someone to look at him. The previous week we had a serious medical emergency at home which took all our emergency funds at one time. I have always paid cash to have my pet taken care of only this time I needed a two week window in which to pay. The receptionist was curt to the point of rude and stated "we only take cash" the tone of her voice sounded like she had some kind of deadbeat on the phone! So it is evident they don't care any more for the care and comfort of the pets but returning customers are also held in disdain unless you walk through the door with cash in hand( screw you and your pet just give us cash). The only reason I gave a two star rating was the money taker at the front desk offered a phone number of some other Vetrenary service that would take a payment, when you called the provided number you got loud blasting music and not even an answer, thank you for your care an concern! I'm not some angry, disgruntled person, I'm a retired professional who has spent over 35 years providing counseling to others. This business is not a healthy place to take your pet as the only thing they care about is money. I hope if you take your pet here it's not life or death as if your short on funds your pet will die.

I have been here many times before. Dr. McGraw has always been so compassionate and caring with my lab. We got a new pup and he needed a vet tonight so I called to set an appointment. I told them the sooner the better. The receptionist Alisha told me that they were booked entirely tonight and if my dog needed to be seen it was a $93 emergency visit fee. I called back at 8:45 and told her i was bringing my dog in. She then informed me that there were no doctors there. Funny... how you can be booked up util 9 and charge an emergency fee when the vets leave at 845. How does that work? I also heard a bunch of girls laughing when i called back. Very unprofessional. I have spent a TON of money at this place. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is because Dr McGraw has always been so great. Unfortunately though there are other great vets in town and i will be taking both of my dogs to one of them from now on.

I'm going to let all my pet loving friends know to never go there and to make sure they spread the word to everyone they know. I took him to pet emergency on mission and they took him in right away. He had a broken tooth and a big gash in his mouth that needed stitches.

Not happy. Took my dog in there who had been vomitting blood. They were great at first. We ended up paying more money for the visit than originally planned although the shot was needed but they changed their story twice to she is in pain but did swollen anything the xray and blood work was $310. Hubby and I agreed to pay for it and as soon as I agreed their story changed to she did swollen something and needed surgery for 1200. We talked about our options and the vet said in front of our kids she is going to die. There was no remorse then tried to get us to give her up so "someone that has money can take care of her." Makes me quite upset that it went from she is ojay gor now to she is going to die so I'm going to make you f eel like crap because we sprung a 1595 dr bill in less than five minutes. I shouldn't feel forced.

My cat had an allergic reaction to the mandatory Rabies vaccination, that was administered at another vet. (Which is not the Vet's fault.) The Spokane Valley Animal Hospital was the only one left open for the day, by the time we realized he needed emergency care. We called them up, and the doctor took us in 30 minutes before closing. They were very friendly and helpful. They even called back the next day to schedule a check up, free of charge. He seems to be doing much better today.

Today, I took both our dogs in. Worst idea I had. When I called to make my appointment Monday I tried explaining to the receptionist that he may need a sedative because in the past they were unable to clip his nails due to ptsd from parvo. The receptionist said okay and placed me on hold. When I got there today, again I explained to the receptionists and then again to the vet that in the past the exam had to be on the floor cause he hates the metal table and that he really needs his nails clipped. The vet insisted the exam be on the table and then when he saw how upset my dog was then suggested that his shots and nail trim be done in the back. I'm sitting there with my other dog, listening to him belt out cries and screams. I was balling on the phone with my fiancé. Then after all that the vet comes in and says yeah next time we will need to sedate him. I was really upset because all this trams could have been avoided. They said they did an exam on him but he was so anxious he didn't sit still even if I held him to do one properly. My little dog had a great exam and got her nails trimmed in the back without screams but I am sad that my big dog had to go through that. Usually when I bring them in, the receptionists smile and talk to my dogs. Today was very short and they were not understanding at all when it came to what he went through. There was one vet tech that was amazing today and I wish I knew her name because if it wasn't for her I probably would have let some choice words come out. We started coming here because my parents have always had good experiences but I think it's time to break ties. We will be transferring care after today's visit which makes me sad since they have known him since he was a puppy :(

We had to put down our cat today. Everyone who has lost a pet knows it's a horrible experience but the staff here really had a positive impact on us. They gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes. When it was time to say our final goodbye the lady that picked him up held him like a baby and told us he wouldn't be alone until it was over and we all shared some tears before finally leaving. The staff here is compassionate and understanding and you can tell they care for animals as if they were their own. Would recommend this place to anyone

I love this vet. They went out of their way to help save my cat's eye over Memorial Day weekend, when I could get no other vet (including what used to be our regular vet) to see him. Dr Stokes is amazing as are the techs and nurses. We were in their office every weekend for 3 weeks straight and they are all awesome and so very caring and compassionate. During the eye trauma we also had to put our Beagle to sleep. They went above and beyond to make her, and us, comfortable and to honor her and our choices. They truly are the best and I will take all of my fur babies there from here on out. Thank you ladies!!!!!!

I love that they are open on Sundays--it's really hard to find a vet on Sundays so of course that's the day my dog always gets really sick! I was looking for a vet because my dog has Addision’s Disease and I had just moved to town. I read the reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. I found the staff at the front desk to be very friendly and nice. However, it was the vet that ruined everything. I’d trust her with anything routine, like vaccines, but Addision’s requires a good doctor. Both my previous vets stressed that my dog needs a DAILY dose of prednisolone but this vet wanted me to give prednisolone every other day or only on stressful days. Following that poor advice could land my dog back in the emergency animal hospital. She was actually mixing up Addision’s Disease with Atypical Addision’s Disease. When I asked her what she thought of low dose protocol for percorten v, she lectured me about listening to stuff I read on the Internet, got insulted I even brought it up, and said she would research it but had already made up her mind that she would never recommend it. Even though I gave her a number to talk to a specialist (with more credentials than her) about it. Overall, I don’t trust the vet because she gave me bad advice and was closed off to new research.

I've heard there's some cheaper vet clinics around this area but I wouldn't waste my time with any of them after having taken my dog here a few times. These folks are very good at their job, and very kind. I moved an hour away from Spokane valley now and I'll still be taking my dog back there this summer for his rabies booster and checkup. Took my dog here for the first time. Very clean place. Girls at the front we're super sweet. Wish the Vet was a little more personable as I'm looking for a place to call home to take my animals and feel like family. We we're in and out within 20minutes, paid $60, not complaining as I'd prefer that over waiting an hour but I also wasn't asked exactly which shots I wished or needed for my dog. They don't automatically give the bordetella (kennel cough) shot, so be to sure to request. I was thrown off when I went to take my dog to daycare the following week only to find out they couldn't take him because he was not given that specific shot.

This place is great! We had to bring our dog here for an emergency visit since our primary vet was closed. They were able to get us right in and immediately showed great empathy for our fur baby. Ninja was very sick and had to have IVs 3 days in a row they were able to get him back to feeling better and we are forever grateful. I would recommend this place to anyone needing veterinary services. We will for sure go back! Very compassionate staff! Thank you for saving my baby!

I brought our cat here for an emergency visit when our regular vet wasn't picking up the phone. The staff was so very accommodating with our unscheduled visit, and managed to get us in quickly. Our pet's injuries and age made for some difficult choices, and we ended up having to euthanize our cat. The vet and staff were so kind and empathetic during an extremely difficult time. They walked us through the process, offered options, and gave us as much time as we needed. It wasn't a happy experience, but if you find yourself in a situation where you have to ugly cry in front of strangers, these people truly made the experience as smooth as possible with their professionalism and kindness. I would highly recommend this clinic.

I established care with them a couple years ago, and they've always done a good job. Three months ago they helped save my Pomeranian, Seely, after he fractured his skull. They were professional and caring during the whole process. They helped intensely monitor him for the first couple days after the accident. They continued to be there on a daily basis for doggy daycare during his first month of recovery. They were so compassionate towards my dog, and friendly towards my husband and I. Three months later Seely is back to his regular self. He's running, playing, and starting to go for walks again. He's got a small head tilt and his hair is still growing back, but we couldn't be more thankful! Thank you Spokane Valley Vet Hospital!

They never even told us when we picked her up. We called back to ask why and we were told it was a miscommunication between the doctors. Then they removed the stitches too soon and her wound opened back up and of course they wanted a couple hundred dollars more for me to pay to fix ...it. There was no accountability on their part at all. In fact they tried to blame my dog for getting at it. She never even tried plus she was wearing a bandage over it and wearing a cone and never left alone for the entire two weeks. Oh and of course the post results for pathology came back with no cancer . When I questioned the vet how one pathology reports is cancer and the next one says none he said he did not know. More than $1000 dollars and a traumatized dog but the vet does not know? See More

We had to board our cat and dog for the first time in their lives. We have had a friend stay at our home once to care for them while we were away but never boarded before. The staff were amazing and took well care of our kids. Our cat has never been social and of course was the least happy....But they did an amazing job with her too. So if you have a timid animal or a social butterfly (like our dog)....They will take good care of them.
Oh! And they didn't mind us calling to check on them every day!

I have utilized this Vetrenary Hospital several times as I thought they had a high regard for the pets they took in to care for, how wrong I was. My little dog dislocated his rear leg and even though he was not in any pain I just needed someone to look at him. The previous week we had a serious medical emergency at home which took all our emergency funds at one time. I have always paid cash to have my pet taken care of only this time I needed a two week window in which to pay. The receptionist was curt to the point of rude and stated "we only take cash" the tone of her voice sounded like she had some kind of deadbeat on the phone! So it is evident they don't care any more for the care and comfort of the pets but returning customers are also held in disdain unless you walk through the door with cash in hand( screw you and your pet just give us cash). The only reason I gave a two star rating was the money taker at the front desk offered a phone number of some other Vetrenary service that would take a payment, when you called the provided number you got loud blasting music and not even an answer, thank you for your care an concern! I'm not some angry, disgruntled person, I'm a retired professional who has spent over 35 years providing counseling to others. This business is not a healthy place to take your pet as the only thing they care about is money. I hope if you take your pet here it's not life or death as if your short on funds your pet will die.

I have been here many times before. Dr. McGraw has always been so compassionate and caring with my lab. We got a new pup and he needed a vet tonight so I called to set an appointment. I told them the sooner the better. The receptionist Alisha told me that they were booked entirely tonight and if my dog needed to be seen it was a $93 emergency visit fee. I called back at 8:45 and told her i was bringing my dog in. She then informed me that there were no doctors there. Funny... how you can be booked up util 9 and charge an emergency fee when the vets leave at 845. How does that work? I also heard a bunch of girls laughing when i called back. Very unprofessional. I have spent a TON of money at this place. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is because Dr McGraw has always been so great. Unfortunately though there are other great vets in town and i will be taking both of my dogs to one of them from now on.

He had a broken tooth and a big gash in his mouth that needed stitches.

We ended up paying more money for the visit than originally planned although the shot was needed but they changed their story twice to she is in pain but did swollen anything the xray and blood work was $310. Hubby and I agreed to pay for it and as soon as I agreed their story changed to she did swollen something and needed surgery for 1200. We talked about our options and the vet said in front of our kids she is going to die. There was no remorse then tried to get us to give her up so "someone that has money can take care of her." Makes me quite upset that it went from she is ojay gor now to she is going to die so I'm going to make you f eel like crap because we sprung a 1595 dr bill in less than five minutes. I shouldn't feel forced.

My cat had an allergic reaction to the mandatory Rabies vaccination, that was administered at another vet. (Which is not the Vet's fault.) The Spokane Valley Animal Hospital was the only one left open for the day, by the time we realized he needed emergency care. We called them up, and the doctor took us in 30 minutes before closing. They were very friendly and helpful. They even called back the next day to schedule a check up, free of charge. He seems to be doing much better today.

Today, I took both our dogs in. Worst idea I had. When I called to make my appointment Monday I tried explaining to the receptionist that he may need a sedative because in the past they were unable to clip his nails due to ptsd from parvo. The receptionist said okay and placed me on hold. When I got there today, again I explained to the receptionists and then again to the vet that in the past the exam had to be on the floor cause he hates the metal table and that he really needs his nails clipped. The vet insisted the exam be on the table and then when he saw how upset my dog was then suggested that his shots and nail trim be done in the back. I'm sitting there with my other dog, listening to him belt out cries and screams. I was balling on the phone with my fiancé. Then after all that the vet comes in and says yeah next time we will need to sedate him. I was really upset because all this trams could have been avoided. They said they did an exam on him but he was so anxious he didn't sit still even if I held him to do one properly. My little dog had a great exam and got her nails trimmed in the back without screams but I am sad that my big dog had to go through that. Usually when I bring them in, the receptionists smile and talk to my dogs. Today was very short and they were not understanding at all when it came to what he went through. There was one vet tech that was amazing today and I wish I knew her name because if it wasn't for her I probably would have let some choice words come out. We started coming here because my parents have always had good experiences but I think it's time to break ties. We will be transferring care after today's visit which makes me sad since they have known him since he was a puppy :(

We had to put down our cat today. Everyone who has lost a pet knows it's a horrible experience but the staff here really had a positive impact on us. They gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes. When it was time to say our final goodbye the lady that picked him up held him like a baby and told us he wouldn't be alone until it was over and we all shared some tears before finally leaving. The staff here is compassionate and understanding and you can tell they care for animals as if they were their own. Would recommend this place to anyone
