My baby boy Achu is a 1 year 8 months old Shih Tzu that thinks he is a cat. His adopted sister is a rescued barn baby cat, 10 months old, that plays rough.
She punctured Achu's eye with a claw he fail...
My baby boy Achu is a 1 year 8 months old Shih Tzu that thinks he is a cat. His adopted sister is a rescued barn baby cat, 10 months old, that plays rough.
She punctured Achu's eye with a claw he failed to duck.
Of course for me, and for Achu, this was an emergency. Several vet offices I walked in to said at least 4 weeks wait before an appointment. A walk in emergency clinic was full and suggested I return before 8 am and line up for a possible opening.
NW Veterinary clinic has always found a way to help, and came through again. Achu was seen early the next morning, and received full, attentive, and caring attention. A person working by the front desk even came around came over to love on him after the vet was done.
I highly recommend this clinic that has a heart♥️

Very happy with the care Clooney received for his dental cleaning and extractions. The before and after photos as well as detailed instructions on his after care and explanations of any concerns was excellent. The vet was personable and kind. The only thing I would have added to be perfect would have been a follow-up call the next day to check on his recovery from the surgery and anesthesia.

Such a bad experience, that lets just say when " My cat couldn't be seen here" within 15 minutes I was on my way to Mount Vernon where They saw my cat immediately and determined she needed to be put down. I have never had to put an animal down but wouldn't wish on anyone. In the end where I went they assessed the matter fast and were so thoughtful when her own vets office wouldn't even look at her.
I live on the end of Camano and the wanted me to go to Smokey Point and not be seen for 2 hours. My Sweet cat was old and was suffering and I don't ever want to see an animal suffer again.
Will change vets and if I believe my other elderly Cat is at that time I will just take her to the clinic on Camano rather than have her suffer.

Love this place - When I was new to the area, my mare colic and they were the only ones that I could get out to my place at 10PM on a Sunday night. I have used them ever since and had to have them come out lately at 2AM on a Thursday morning after my mare foaled because I thought she was colicing. He came out and checked everything and then came back out at 1PM to check on foal .

Hands down this place is exceptionally phenomenal. It's been such a joy to have a vet like Dr.Wolker even under the saddest conditions (My mare had to be put down on a emergency late night farm call due to a shattered long pastern). He is one of the best equine vets I've dealt with an the staff an him have done so much for me and my equine counterparts. 1 emergency farm call an 2 vet checks. I recommend this clinic hands down an always recommend Dr.Wolker!

2014 started with a bang for us. Our 10 goats broke down a fence and ate Azalea - discovered after they became very ill. On a Sunday evening, we called Northwest Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Daniel Haskins was on-call. He was extremely patient with us and covered the options to start care. We asked Dr. Haskins to the farm. He checked each animal, administered pain medication and Vitamin B. For the goats most vulnerable, taught us how to insert a stomach tube treating for dehydration. His bedside manner was very professional and gentle in a very tough situation. We were left with clear instructions and the medicines needed to maximize our goat's chances. We were also able to call when additional questions came up. Every single contact at the Clinic was compassionate, professional and informed. Prices charged for this level of care was so reasonable. We are new to the area AND we have found our veterinary home.

The livestock vets there have been nothing but wonderful, with some unusual challenges that I have brought in. Drs Haskins and Cuchna are real dairy vets who know goats, a treasure to find. They've worked with me to look at options in the whole pet-livestock continuum, and always ask "how will this affect outcome" before doing expensive things. I've been there quite a bit unfortunately over the past 3+ years, and with few exceptions the staff has been personal, helpful, and wonderful. I have to drive over an hour to get to them, and they are so worth it!

I had the honor and pleasure to spend a four week clinical rotation with the great folks at Northwest Veterinary Clinic as a senior veterinary student. All the staff were friendly and welcomed me in like family, the doctors were fantastic mentors and were open to answering all of my questions, and their clients were kind and supportive. I have visited many veterinary clinics over the years as a veterinary student, and Northwest Veterinary Clinic is by far one of the best! Thanks again for a wonderful time! Hands down this place is exceptionally phenomenal. It's been such a joy to have a vet like Dr.Wolker even under the saddest conditions (My mare had to be put down on a emergency late night farm call due to a shattered long pastern). He is one of the best equine vets I've dealt with an the staff an him have done so much for me and my equine counterparts. 1 emergency farm call an 2 vet checks. I recommend this clinic hands down an always recommend Dr.Wolker!

2014 started with a bang for us. Our 10 goats broke down a fence and ate Azalea - discovered after they became very ill. On a Sunday evening, we called Northwest Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Daniel Haskins was on-call. He was extremely patient with us and covered the options to start care. We asked Dr. Haskins to the farm. He checked each animal, administered pain medication and Vitamin B. For the goats most vulnerable, taught us how to insert a stomach tube treating for dehydration. His bedside manner was very professional and gentle in a very tough situation. We were left with clear instructions and the medicines needed to maximize our goat's chances. We were also able to call when additional questions came up. Every single contact at the Clinic was compassionate, professional and informed. Prices charged for this level of care was so reasonable. We are new to the area AND we have found our veterinary home.

The livestock vets there have been nothing but wonderful, with some unusual challenges that I have brought in. Drs Haskins and Cuchna are real dairy vets who know goats, a treasure to find. They've worked with me to look at options in the whole pet-livestock continuum, and always ask "how will this affect outcome" before doing expensive things. I've been there quite a bit unfortunately over the past 3+ years, and with few exceptions the staff has been personal, helpful, and wonderful. I have to drive over an hour to get to them, and they are so worth it!
