I took our new kittens here, for a free exam, after we adopted them from the humane society. Very nice people, a caring vet, and easy to get an appointment. Unfortunately, they're a bit over priced, and really nothing stands out to justify the premium. Of course, if you live nearby, your tax bracket probably makes them downright affordable and there's no good reason to go any farther. I prefer them over Twin Lakes veterinary clinic, and I'll definitely keep them in mind for any major issues, but I'll continue to use the low cost clinics for routine veterinary care. Read Less

Dr. Sperlich is a rare breed. She is completely devoted to the well-being of the animal, and exhibits genuine compassion and care for the guardian as well. Her devotion to our cat, raised the quality of his life for many years, and as a result, raised the quality of our lives as well. I've come here for my cat who has hyperthyroidism. My regular Vet (whom I love) gave him his regular medication. But he was still struggling with his weight. So I brought him here. The Vet is so awesome!!!!! I live all the way in Puyallup but it's so worth the drive! The initial visit is pricey BUT- the cost is more than made up for with the next visits, medication costs and she takes so much time explaining things to me. Which I appreciate so much. The results are great. He's finally gaining weight. When the Dr. called me with the blood work results she was actually very excited. They really care and give the quality time that I wish my own doctors gave lol. I will take all of my pets here when my standard vet care isn't cutting it. This review is specifically for Dr. Sperlich. My dog has been a patient of hers for the past six months; we see her 2-3 times a month for chiropractic, acupuncture, and cold laser. Dr. Sperlich is knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and courteous. I really appreciate her depth of knowledge in alternative treatments/therapies and how to integrate them into Western-style veterinary practice. She's always happy to answer questions and spends enough time with us that I never leave feeling neglected. I went in this evening with my new puppy for a general check up and some boosters. The staff working at the front desk were well informed and thoughtful about boarding recommendations. They were also accommodating and gracious despite my being a little tardy for the appointment. Dr. Roth was amazing. She gave me time to ask questions as a neurotic first time puppy owner and gave me explanations that were well informed, helpful, and phrased in a way that I could understand easily. Aside from this she was just a really warm good humored person. Acing worked in a veterinary clinic long ago I knew it was important to me to find a small, local clinic that I could develop a relationship with for the life of my pet and I found that here. Sadly, my previous vet passed away unexpectedly and that made me terribly sad. Luckily, though, my mom found Dr. Sperlich and Brown's Point Vet Clinic and I have not been disappointed! As a 9 year old Labradoodle, I have some structural issues that benefit from chiropractic work and Dr. Sperlich's hands have helped me tremendously. In fact, even though I'm not a fan of acupuncture, she's been brave enough to give it a try and to be honest, it's helped me in ways I never imagined. As a nervous dog, I don't take to strangers easily, but once Dr. Sperlich started working with me, I knew she was not only kind and patient, but she was skilled, knowledgeable, and exactly the vet for me! Euthanasia conversations should not happen when other patients are waiting.. as that is a delicate subject.. and cannot always be "handled" in 15 mins.. In addition, my cat who was being treated at the clinic.. took a turn for the worst and I had to have him hospitalized.. this was a Thursday ... I received a call from the receptionist on Friday morning as they had been contacted by the emergency vet.. she said she would check back with me on Monday to see how he was doing .. He didn't make it to Monday .. the emergency vet told me that they always notify the regular vet... so they were aware of his death.. I was shocked , and to be honest, I still am. His passing was never acknowledged by anyone at the clinic at all.. no phone call , not even a card.... I was devastated by his death.. I had a very special relationship with this cat.. I have lost animals before both to natural causes and to euthanasia due to disease, and I have never had a veterinary clinic fail to acknowledge the death of a pet ... until now.... I won't be back.. Dr Sperlich and the entire team at Browns Point couldn't be more kind, caring, professional or knowledgeable. One of my cats, Dunnie, had been a serious jumper his entire life, but as a geriatric cat he hadn't jumped for several years. I brought him to Dr Sperlich for chemo support treatment. I hadn't even mentioned his lack of jumping because it had happened so gradually over the years. She palpated arthritis in his joints and treated him for that as well. After just one treatment he was able to jump up on the furniture again! Sadly, we lost him to cancer, but thanks to Dr Sperlich he had several months of being able to jump, which was one of his favorite things in life. Read Less

I had my first visit today with Dr. Sperlich. She was wonderful! Very caring and spent a lot of time with my two rescue dogs. One has IBD and I'm doing my best not to have him on steroids etc. He had his first acupuncture treatment today. He did pretty well for a first timer. I love Dr. Sperlich and Dr. Roth and their amazing care! They have been taking care of my dog and cat for years and are always patient with extra questions regarding their diagnosis or treatment. I have worked for these wonderful vets for years and truly see exceptional commitment to their patients. Yes, it's a very small clinic with only three support staff members, so book an appointment early!Update: I wanted to come in an edit my review for others to hopefully get a better idea of this amazing clinic! Dr. Sperlich is a holistic vet, which may appeal to some folks. She can recommend Chinese medicine, food therapy, and perform acupuncture for your fuzzy loved one! Typically a new patient would need an hour appointment if interested in these treatments, because it is a full consultation with Dr. Sperlich. As a small clinic, they are unable to accommodate emergency appointments. Specialty hospitals are far better equipped to provide excellent, urgent care for those pet emergencies that just can't wait. A family practice doctor for humans cannot usually see you for an emergency, it is unfair to expect a primary care veterinarian to do this either. The care offered at Browns Point Veterinary Clinic is always loving, patient, accommodating, and personal. My critters love Tom and Sharla (even when the dreaded nail trim comes around!) and every vet that works there. They would never push anyone to spend excessive money on needless treatments.
