I have never had a vet clinic that is so obviously all about the money and not the animal. Dr. Jeremiah used to be very kind and compassionate but she is not longer. She is just like everyone else now and all about the money. I took my Persian cat there for 8 or 9 years and had no complaints but she is not the same vet anymore. Her compassion is gone, her kind personality is gone, and she is blatantly all about the money. I took my new Persian kitten for a check up that was $200.00 and I have no problem with that but she asked to see him after 10 days to see if the pills she prescribed were clearing up the sores in his mouth. Now, 10 days later I go back JUST for her to look in his mouth to see if the pills are clearing it up and I am charged another visit $58.00!!?? Ok, SO..I do medical billing for a living. There is not a CPT code that does not also include the follow up visit, bundled with the same CPT code as the original diagnosis. Now I am being double billed for a billing code that has already been charged for on the original PRIMARY CPT code, that is called up-coding and it is illegal, not to mention unethical, the follow up should just be an add on code with no charge. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET AND SEE DR JEREMIAH IF YOU WANT COMPASSION AND A CARING ENVIRONMENT FOR YOU ANIMALS. I love Barb at the front desk and this one star in NO way reflects on her. She is kind, efficient, and does her job fantastically. When a vet gets to the point that the animals are not the number one concern, she is obviously burnt our and it is time for he/she to retire.
