They seriously need to clarify on their add that the number directs you to the furthest north clinic. I was told to drive clear across town when they scheduled the appointment at the wrong clinic, told by the person I spoke to that “not to worry, you will be seen for sure” and after driving clear across town sent back home because they should not have told me that and “sorry for the inconvenience”. Instead of apologizing it would be better to provide better training and have the clear information given at the time of setting up appointments. Read Less

I checked in to get my puppy a titer test. We were 7 minutes late for our appointment. The receptionist goes, "Looks like your appointment was at 9.. Let me see if we can still get you in." comes back. "yes but it'll be a wait" didn't know being 7 minutes late would be such a huge deal. I've seen other clients be 15 minutes late and they still were seen and not treated like that. The vet comes out and takes us back there then starts telling me why titer tests don't work and there's no specific number and no research and I shouldn't waste my money and where did I get my information anyway because it's not right. Online? It was very condescending and I didn't appreciate being spoken to like a child. I did not want to get more shots i wanted to test for antibodies but she made me feel stupid for not wanting them. I love my animals and only want the best for them. Over vaccinating is not good.. I want to go to a vet that listens to their clients and if buying a titer test really is a waste of money (it's not) tell me in a way that still gives me a chance to make my own choice, not, it's a waste so we're not doing it and I'm just gonna go ahead and continue with her vaccines, even though that wasn't what the appointment was for and definitely not what you wanted. Thought this was my long term vet but I will not go back now. :/ Read Less

I used a lady vet here to crop three different dogs over the last 10 years. The first came out just a little short but symmetrical, the second came out perfectly but the last came out horrific. The crop is now 2 years ago but what this vet fails to recognize is that when she screws up a crop, the dog owner lives with the unfortunate mess for the next 10 to 15 YEARS! I first contacted the clinic at about the 6 month mark after $600 for crop and hundreds more for taping braces, I'd exhausted all afforts to tape those extra-heavy ears! The vet finally consented to look at my photos of the crop at about the 19th month after the crop. Her final remarks were that "it looked like a break in the cartilage" and "you could try shortening it but you'd have to cut it really short like a pit bull crop". Number one, she never cared to examine my dog further and there is no "break" in the cartilage Anywhere! The ears bow down in a smooth curve like a jesters hat, a broken cartilage would resemble a piece of folded paper! There is no hard fold just a stupid banana peel look to her! MNumber two, I'm no vet! I'm not about to shorten or cut my own dogs ears it's why I contracted HER and this Clinic and requested a show length crop and specifically told her NOT TO MAKE THEM WIDE, just like the awful crop she showcases on her wall of some show boxer with huge fat ears! - everyone knows a Doberman has a very fine and refined head and gets a very slender crop to Match! This review should have been posted almost two years back but I'd never seen these other reviews before now and it so interesting to read that there's one compassionate person there now who actually seems concerned when clients feel screwed over by this clinic. To my mind this was the worst amount of money I've ever spent for any crop, ever. Also hands down the most expensive crop I've ever paid for. Plus the added aftercare to have my doberman come out looking like a clownish jester for life! Plus the constant comments from people about one of my dogs not being cropped (this one) or that she's ugly, or that the crop is awful! If there were a way to include a photo with this review there would be a stack of them! Read Less

Dt. Jagger is wonderful. However, I was very shocked when leaving today to find Karen, an employee strike 3 dogs with their leashes. She was taking them out to go to the bathroom when 2 of the dogs started barking and going afer each other. She took the leashes and struck all 3 dogs. I yelled "hey!, you shouldn't be hitting those dogs!" She didn't even look at me. I called the office from the parking lot and said the woman in the black shirt with the 3 dogs that I think works for you. And the person on the phone said yes, Karen. I said yes. The dogs stared going after each other and she hit them with the leashes. I said that's bullshit and my cat will not be coming back here if that is the kind of people you have working there. I then hung up because I was so angry. I will be discussing the incident with Dr. Jagger when she calls with my Ted's test results. He is scheduled for a tooth extraction, but I will not leave him there unattended. I am very disappointed. I have taken my fur babies there for 6 1/2 years. I'm now afraid to leave Ted with them. As she is a small practice provider, it is difficult to get in to see her when an emergent situation occurs. We moved over an hour away from her clinic in 2015 so I will be transferring our routine and emergent care needs to this clinic. Dr. Long is an excellent clinician. Seems like a great place. Let me start with this. I am from the Midwest and was new to WA when visiting this vet. It was my first veterinary visit after moving here. I am an avid hiker and very outdoorsy. I know my outdoors and coming from the Midwest that means I know my ticks and wildlife well. So for my first visit here with my pooch it was urgent. I had taken her out hiking deep in the mountains and a few days later noticed a cluster of seed ticks. Seed ticks will place their young in clusters of thousands. I took her to the vet to have them removed as they were so tiny I knew I couldn't get the heads out myself. I told her what was wrong and she proceeded to tell me I was wrong. She took my dog and scraped the ticks with a blade. This in turn left all the heads in her skin, and released the blood from them onto her skin (this is good on a wound right?) Then wanted to just cure it all with a high dose of antibiotics. Yum. After she was able to look at them under a microscope she said she was sorry. I was right and they were seed ticks. My "issue" was resolved with care but I can't say I will ever return to this office. A proper vet should listen to their client and be dedicated to study. I found a great vet at Wildflower.Read Less

I think people need to stop being so cheap or if that's not the case then maybe you shouldn't buy a pet... Reason #1 your probably a broke ass person if you can't afford to take care of the pet and pay some vet bills... I've taken my Doberman Pinscher his name is Deebo ..... I've taken Deebo to this clinic since I've had him.. They have always offered me discounts everytime I take my Dobie in... They did an awesome job on my Dobie's ear crop thanks to Laura Lind and there staff ... Highly recommend to go here for any ear crop... Its not alot what they ask for ... They keep them overnight and keep them medicated and they give you medicine to take home for the pain plus a cone.... Come on its a pretty reasonable price if you ask me but like i said if your broke or a cheap ass person don't buy a pet its just like having a kid... Read Less

Crop ears. So I came in there month back to get my pitbulls ears cropped. Before you judge me I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK. Now the doctor did a great job on my Thor's ears. I chose Parkway because they explained the procedure very professionally and that he'd be completely sedated for the procedure which was over night. He came home the next day with ear cast a cone antibiotics and pain killers. Abs this was at 16/18 for my little guy. (He's 11 months now). All in all he's healthy happy and great looking big ass puppy. Thanks parkway. 5 stars.Read Less

In response to the negative review beginning as "HORRIBLE"...the person who posted that message is mixing up Parkway with another hospital. Parkway does not see Humane Society foster kittens. Adopted kittens yes, but not those being fostered for the Humane Society. There is at times a wait of 20 to 30 minutes if the Dr. is attending to an emergency, but never a three hour wait. Sometimes the wait is because the client before you is very talkative or the pet is in for vaccines and when scheduling, the owner failed to tell the receptionist of other concerns such as limping, vomiting, itchy skin. That makes the appointment longer that hasn't been marked out on the appt. book. Parkway Drs. speak excellent English. None have accents that can't be understood. That negative person is definately confusing Parkway with another facility. HORRIBLE. Brought several different foster kittens in on several occasions and was displeased each time. My appointment was made and the woman remembered talking to me when I arrived several hours later but didnt write it in so I had to wait three hours. The vets I was given on two occasions spoke terrible english and rough handled tiny kittens. Another was rude and rushed and would not listen to me, resulting in giving the wrong kitten a shot. Unfortunately, when you foster through the humane society, you have no say where you bring them. Would NEVER take my pets there. Read Less

Read Less

Great place, took my bully there years back and asked them for a crop between short and mid and got exactly what I wanted.. they also kept the dog overnight, plus meds and cone. After taking of the cone my dog removed one of his bandages(tape) from his ear and they re-wrapped it no questions asked and for free. Four stars because just wished the price was lower, but still i will be taking in my other pup in this week. Read Less

Read Less
