I was tricked by these reviews and made an appointment to try to find a new vet as i just moved to this area. The assistant was nice, but the doctor has to be the rudest vet I've ever been to. You're not allowed to ask questions otherwise you are treated as an imbecile or an undereducated child. I couldn't believe that i couldn't finish asking a question before she would interrupt and answer it incorrectly. None of my questions i had for the vet were answered, but I'll be going elseware from now on. Read Less

I've been taking my dog and cat here for some time now. The vet is genuine and caring. I've never before had a vet give me their personal number to call in case of emergency. I find the prices fair compared to other vets in the area. The office is unappealing and could use sprucing up but my pets don't care and ultimately neither do I. Read Less

OMG This place is freaking ridiculous! This lady charges more than 3Xs the amount as anywhere else. I paid $378.09 for two health certificates/exams and a single 10mg tranquilizer! She doesn't have her fees listed anywhere. When I asked for a breakdown of the charges and asked why she charges so much in comparison to other places around the country she said, "did you ask the prices before we got started?" Who does does that?! If you're unfamiliar with a health cert exam it includes: checking weight, heart rate, verifying your microchip (IF you have one - which makes it optional) and filling out a piece of paper. The exam is $27 and the cert is $150! When I questioned why it was so much she said, "because I have to check off all the boxes and the microchip."  There are THREE boxes! And to check the microchip you hold a small device to their neck and it beeps! Mind you, we needed the certs for domestic travel, meaning there was no need to check their microchips. Banfield charges $42 for the exam and $42 for the cert. We ended up going here because it was a last minute emergency and Banfield was booked. THEN there's the cleanliness or lack here of. The place is filthy! Now I get the occasional fur ball running across the floor, but the place looked as though it hadn't been dusted in forever! Some of the, I guess, "less used" equipment was rusted and you could tell she was reusing and old blanket for all the pets when putting them on the examination table. The place itself looked as though it belonged in a town of 100 where there was only one way in and one way out! But that's no excuse for that type of neglect. Now on to the Vet herself, her white coat was stained to all hell! It made me question whether or not that was her ONLY coat and if she kept it for nostalgia purposes. The collar and the wrists of the coat were practically brown with black accents. Needless to say I would not recommend this place to anyone! She had no remorse for charging those ridiculous prices and stated that "it's what we charge", and went on to list the charges on an invoice that you can purchase from Walmart! Read Less

I don't agree at all with these reviews. Yes, the place is a little run down but aside from that this veterinarian truly cares about animals. Brought my boyfriends sick cat in, he got a really high $1500 quote to treat the cat in Ballard, we took her here and she said she's only charge $500 and offered payment plans too.. she just wanted to treat the kitty. She treats mine like a princess when I take her in for her vaccinations and still remembers her from when she was a kitten. The vet genuinely cares about your pet. That's all that matters and she does a good job to. She's not in it for the money she's in it to treat your pet. Read Less

We were travelling and our dog became very ill. The vet here went out of her way to look after us and see us urgently. She stabilised our animal and made sure it was safe for him to fly home. I am sure he is alive today because of this vets amazing care and quick action. Read Less

Yes, the clinic's exterior and interior looks outdated and a little austere. However, Dr. Sudhi is very capable, nice and informative. The receptionist is...hmm, well, she's helpful but you gotta ask the right questions. I took my dog in for a persistent ear infection. He got an office visit and 3 ear medications, dewormer and an antibiotic injection for $140. That's amazing because her office visit fee only $25......anywhere else, it would be $50.  If you're a new patient, log online and fill out the new patient form and the first visit is free of charge.I also took in my second dog for her annual shots. She had the office visit, rabies, 5-in-1, dewormer and her nails clipped for $60.  If you come in for shots only and no other problems, the office visit is 50% off (for those of you who are bad with math, that's $12.50).Dr. Sudhi was very attentive and answered all my questions, took the time to explain everything to me. It's a little hard to understand her because she talks fast and has an accent but she'll repeat it as many times as you want. :)So yes, the exterior and interior is outdated and austere....but hey, i'm paying $25 for an office fee... If you want something new, modern and spacious, go to Banfield, their fees are $59 and all other charges are at least twice the price.  Trust me, I know, I got stuck with their stupid "puppy plan" for a year.   Dr. Sudhi was a Banfield vet but she obviously didn't want to stick around.
