The service to the cat was fine as far as we can tell the cat didn't tell us anything bad other than smelling of cigarette smoke... But the human to human interaction was lacking. The staff is very pushy and tries to push other services or care/procedures not asked for, and the front desk ladies are borderline rude and demanding... Have used them in the past but probably won't be back as this was not worth the slightly better costs of other places. Read Less

This cold heart Business would rather let my cat suffer than take payments...we taken our 2 cats there before and have always paid at the end of visit, but because I couldn't paid the whole amount they turned me away. As we brought them into the clinic to ask for help they told us they did not take in strays. and told us to go somewhere else. They didnt even have the decency to call the humane society, so we called them ourselves and even they were baffled that this clinic didn't take them in. Despicable. I've had some less then satisfactory experiences with other Vets around the area; then I found this place. I will only take my cats (4) here from now on. This place is the creme de la creme in terms of care for your BFFF (Best Feline Friend Forever). Sure, you may pay a little bit more, as one apparently former client observed in the reviews below, but you will be treated to an extremely professional staff and your kitty will get a very high standard of care. They do thoroughly go over an estimate with you prior to any procedure, so there are no surprises.I've taken both of my cats here for dental procedures, and both received excellent treatment. If you have cats over five years old and they haven't ever had a dental, you should seriously consider it. I want my cats to have happy, toothache free lives. Not only that, but these guys are exclusively cat vets. So they know how to handle nervous kitties who are afraid of the world. You won't have to wait to be seen, they are prompt with their appointments. My cats will work themselves up the longer they have to wait, so it's nice to be able to get in and out in a timely manner. One last really nice thing, my cat had an accident in her cat carrier on the drive to the vet. :( And these folks laundered my towel and cleaned everything up. Now that is top notch! Thank you guys! When I have been worried they have gently helped me understand how my cat is and give me options for what I want to do in such a gently supportive way. The entire staff at Feline Medical are wonderful. My first experience with them was 2 weeks ago when I had to face the decision to let my beloved 19 year old girl cross the rainbow bridge. What a caring and dedicated staff.  They have been part of my cat's health care for about 9 years until we had to put her down with their help.  The assistance they gave us throughout the 9 years they saw her helped get her 18+ years even with kidney disease, diabetes and arthritis.  She was strong until the end when kidney disease got to stage 4 quickly.  They helped us through the process to put her to sleep and a hug from Sharon for my wife and I was special and meaningful during our time of distress.  We got to know the staff and they knew us when we came in for a visit.If you have a cat, this is a dedicated place for cats only and will help you with your cats medical needs. This is the best Vet clinic for cats.  The staff from the front desk to the Vet Techs and the Doctors themselves are quite wonderful.  They are caring and compassionate not only for your cat, but towards the parents as well.  The Doctors will walk and talk you through any situation that is happening with your pet.   They put the cats well being first.  I believe that our cat Jonsey lived a great 18 years with the help of the staff and Doctors at this clinic.  We were fighting both Kidney Disease and Diabetes and with the help of the Doctors she lived a longer life.  When we are ready to get another kitten, this is the only place I would trust to take the cat too. I took my 2 year old kitty in just for an ear cleaning. Took about 10 minutes and cost me $102. The front desk woman wasn't friendly at all. The vet and vet tech were very friendly and professional and seemed knowledgeable. I would not go here again. I wouldn't recommend to others. We have had three cats treated here. The quality of care is the best I've ever experienced. Our semi-feral cat, who hates being handled, allows the staff here to handle her with no complaints or attempts to fight free. Our oldest cat had to be put to sleep recently, and the Dr. we had was extremely kind and caring with both us and our poor old kitty. After it was all over, she told us to just go home, and they would bill us later, sparing us the need to stop in the reception area on the way out. I have been to a few cat vets before and none were as good as this one.  I am from Southern California and no one has treated me or my cat this well before.  I have an overweight indoor cat who is highly emotional and they gave me all kinds of tips to help him. No expensive tests were recommended without first trying a lot of other things. They didn't make me buy thier food! And they explained everything so well.  Someone stood there and comforted my cat while I talked to the vet! So I wasn't distracted by him. I thought they had excellent service.  And my cat can go there without having to face a dog, which helps lower his stress level.  I couldn't be happier with the service and care that I recieved.  I highly recommend them. I admit I wonder sometimes if they don't price you up on some items but they have always been nothing but good to us and our felines. I feel that they do care and are willing to help. A coworker recommended this cats only facility to me.   I needed to get my three cats their yearly shots.  Its very clean, the reception area is big and airy.  The staff and the vet were friendly and informative.  They were great for the shots and pretty reasonably priced.  AND THEN we had a feline emergency and all of my thoughts about them changed.  It turns out my cat was having an asthma attack and had a lung issue (I found this out after going with my gut and getting a second opinion.)  After FMC told me this same diagnosis on the first day, on his recheck, it became heart failure with diabetes with the suggestion of putting him down if I wasn't willing to spend $4,000 plus to save him.  I took him home.  He survived with love and support.  So I called them back, and they said he was a miracle and they wanted another $700 for another test.  Very expensive!  And very extortionate.  So I opted for a second opinion, where they concluded his heart was strong and he simply had asthma with a bit of lung inflamation.  Moral of the story: DEFEND YOUR PETS!  You are their best advocate and if something doesn't sound right, get a second opinion!!!  I do not trust anyone who suggest putting my animals to sleep and I will never go back.  On top of that everything they charged me for was way over-priced, especially once I went to the second vet from which I received the second opinion.  In some cases the charges were $100 OVER what the new vet charged.  NOT RECOMMENDED.An additional drawback is that I didnt like the area it was in.  Its kinda tucked behind some shops and the surrounding businesses seemed run down and dirty.
