We have had amazing care for our golden retriever here. Dr. Hineline recently removed a cyst that was not cancerous. It was quite large. She did an amazing job.She explained things about the procedure in detail and was very comforting and reassuring! The staff there are excellent. From the time you step in the door until you leave, you feel very welcomed with your pet. We have been going here for years so Dr Hineline is our new vet there. My experience has been nothing but positive with Woodinville Animal Hospital. I have used both Dr. King and Dr. Davis, and they are both wonderful! Our long time veterinarian retired a few years back and we have been bouncing from clinic to clinic looking for the perfect staff to take care of our animals. It's important to me that the veterinary clinic that I choose doesn't put my animals through any unnecessary stress by ordering too many tests. Woodinvile Animal Hospital is hands down the best vet office around. My girl became very ill, and sadly I lost her after a few weeks of trying to get her back on her feet. This office went above and beyond in every way for my dog. They looked after her, free of charge, while I was at work. They even drove to KFC and got her a plain chicken breast to eat while she was on IV fluids there. The staff at Woodinville Animal hospital is not only professional but so personable. They truly took in my girl as if she was one of their own. I can't say enough good thing about the staff, I will never bring any of my animals to another vet clinic. Out of 7 veterinarians called to fill a perscription for tapeworm (everyone is out due to increased risk this year) this is the only one who helped me locate a medication and I haven't even been seen here. Very helpful staff and I will likely switch to this place or explore doing so after experiencing a lot of unnecessary charges, pills and testing from other institutions in the area.Read Less

Very friendly service, knowledgeable vets, and fair prices. Originally was going to a vet in the Cottage Lake area but didn't like their high prices and disorganized service. Found Woodinville Animal hospital and have been going here ever since. The desk staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the vets are great as well. Every time my dog has had an "emergency" they've been able to accommodate us same day and take care of the problem.I also like that they give options and price before making a treatment decision, and don't pressure the highest cost option. Dr. Davis diagnosed and operated on my dog this summer.  My 70lb golden doodle  couldn't run anymore without a limp afterwards.  Mark Davis diagnosed her, confirmed it with an US, fixed her biceps tendon and helped her through recovery and rehab.  The team at the hospital was efficient and caring-all around a great experience.  There's so much uncertainty when making a decision about surgery for your pet.  My wife and I are both doctors and we did as much research as we could before choosing Dr. Davis.  He was awesome and 4 months later my dog's in great shape.  Thank you Mark! The space is clean and modern. There's free coffee and water in the lobby. So, it is a welcoming environment as soon as you enter. The staff is really fantastic. I brought in my little guy because he had some weird skin abrasions (sphynx cat). Dr. Davis provided great insight on Richard's condition. Turns out, my poor kitty has been gravitating too close to the heater and is getting small burns. So, no more leaving the heater on! It was nice to know that nothing severe was wrong with him.I am happy with my visit and will be back when it's time for his yearly check up. Read Less

I brought my cat here because she was behaving unusually and I was uncertain of the cause. It took two days for us to get an appointment, which isn't the end of the world if the service is good. However, when it came time for my cat's appointment, the vet offered no diagnosis other than her anus was irritated looking. She examined it in another room for a few minutes, and came back without any additional information. She didn't discuss any possible causes, and didn't seem at all concerned about it, even though I explained multiple times that my cat has never had any medical issues and was clearly acting agitated and in pain for multiple days. There was no discussion of follow up after the appointment, nor did she mention any symptoms to monitor or anything at all about where to go from there. Her only advice was to switch to wet food with fiber in it and get her teeth cleaned. If I bring my pet to your facility and have expressed that she is behaving unusually, it's because I'm concerned and want to find out what is wrong! It was very frustrating to leave with the feeling that the vet staff had no idea what the problem was and didn't think it was worth investigating further. My cat's symptoms progressively worsened over the weekend, and I had to take her to an emergency care center in Kirkland two days later where she received much better care and attention. We recently adopted a new cat from a Seattle area feline rescue and wanted her to be checked out by a vet closer to home. I gave them a call and was warmly greeted by the Receptionist. I gave them all of her information and told them any concerns we would want to discuss on our visit. They got us in the next day and made sure all of my preliminary questions were answered. I filled out all the paperwork and emailed it to them ahead of time and even got a response that they got it. We came in for our appointment and was greeted warmly. She knew exactly who we were and we didn't have to wait long for a room. Because we adopted a special needs kitty,  she made sure all of our questions were answered and that we knew how to take the best care of her that we could. I am so glad they are out new vet! We adopted a kitten from a local rescue organization and the poor thing was severely dehydrated and I was terrified he wouldn't make it. I called first thing in the morning and was seen immediately. Kitty was treated immediately, kindly and completely. They were even compassionate enough to make sure he was ready for discharge before my kiddo got out of school. Our first trip here was really wonderful. We always took our cat to the cheap clinic on weekends at the pet store thinking that a "real vet" would be too expensive, but it was really about the same cost! For that same cost, you get a lot more undivided attention and care as well as the pet-doctor relationship that would build over time. Setting up the appointment over the phone was a smooth process and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They also seemed very knowledgeable about various pet-related things which was a bonus as well. At the visit, everything really did exceed our expectations. Amazing doctors & staff! Very highly skilled, experienced, knowledgable. and they're just generally very professional & capable --- AND the amazing people that work there bring with them **loads** of compassion and concern for your beloved pets. Added bonus -- they work closely with a FANTASTIC veterinary surgeon who is incredibly talented. This surgeon has partnered to provide care should your pet have a more complicated medical condition that requires surgery. Most of the time, vet clinics have their generalist vet docs doing surgery and that's absolutely acceptable. However!! Having access to a very highly trained, experienced, and very fairly priced surgeon is SO comforting when you unexpectedly need that type of care. You'll be thankful for that option if you're ever in the unfortunate situation to have to get your pet a more involved treatment plan for whatever reason (serious injury, illness, etc). IMO, having the option to provide your pet with a vet surgeon for their treatment program is akin to having a general practitioner offer to do a spinal surgery on your child. Sure, if they CAN offer it, you might technically be ok going that route. However, I'd prefer to employ the surgeon who does surgery all day long, every day if I've got the option!!!
