15+ year animal relationship ended. Called yesterday 4/4/19 concerned about our sick dog who is normally seen at this office. A ? New receptionist rudely told me they have nothing available and offered a emergency clinic in AKRON Ohio or south Pittsburgh area. So drive your sick pet 2+ hours. I asked for a next day appointment Incase I could not find another location, was told NO, too busy to accommodate. Rudest person I ever encountered at Chester Vet. Many vets to choose from and will happily share my experience.

They didn't even try to get my cat in that is literally going to die..extreme emergency hasn't ate or drank water in 3 days we found a huge lump on his throat. They are way over priced anyway just he...
They didn't even try to get my cat in that is literally going to die..extreme emergency hasn't ate or drank water in 3 days we found a huge lump on his throat. They are way over priced anyway just heeded a close place to go a.s a.p. never will they get my business!!@!

Everyone at the Chester Veterinarian it's very professional very kind and very very good with animals they definitely care about the animals they do as much as they can to help you they won't answer any question you ask as best as they can they are all very thorough about each and every detail about your pets I'm just so glad that they are there and that they are so good with the pets

Dr. Dougherty is top-notch! Very friendly, not in a rush to get you out the door. Explains things thoroughly and is more than willing to make himself available if needed after hours in an emergency

There's a new vet at Chester vet clinic. We met him today under the worst of circumstances. Our dog Daisy had reached that point in her life where the quality of life was so degraded that the kind thing was to let her go. Funny I can't remember his name, but the vet was so gentle and compassionate with her. Afterwards he even carried her to the car for us. Thank you for helping us make the right decision.

I will recommend this Vet to anyone! The staff is excellent they are always helpful and friendly! They take the time to answer any questions and interact with my dogs. Yeah I have had a couple of bills I didn't expect but it's not their fault one of my dogs had an extra problem a quote is a quote so I have no complaints about pricing. As for the wait time they are very busy because they have an excellent Vet! He takes time to make sure your animals are okay and is very helpful! It is hard to someone that cares for animals as much as him and his staff does around here.. I am sorry for all the other bad experiences but I have never went through any. They have fit my dogs in more times then I can remember and I appreciate it wholeheartedly!

A friend of ours took their new puppy in the other day to get fixed. Was told it would be $70. Vet found a hernia and told them it wouldn't cost much more to remove it while he was in there. Cost totaled $300. Absolutely ridiculous!!! If it was going to be that much more, he should have warned them! I doubt if they'll go back, and I don't blame them... Be very careful as to cost!

15+ year animal relationship ended. Called yesterday 4/4/19 concerned about our sick dog who is normally seen at this office. A ? New receptionist rudely told me they have nothing available and offered a emergency clinic in AKRON Ohio or south Pittsburgh area. So drive your sick pet 2+ hours. There's a new vet at Chester vet clinic. We met him today under the worst of circumstances. Our dog Daisy had reached that point in her life where the quality of life was so degraded that the kind thing was to let her go. Funny I can't remember his name, but the vet was so gentle and compassionate with her. Afterwards he even carried her to the car for us. Thank you for helping us make the right decision.

I will recommend this Vet to anyone! The staff is excellent they are always helpful and friendly! They take the time to answer any questions and interact with my dogs. Yeah I have had a couple of bills I didn't expect but it's not their fault one of my dogs had an extra problem a quote is a quote so I have no complaints about pricing. As for the wait time they are very busy because they have an excellent Vet! He takes time to make sure your animals are okay and is very helpful! A friend of ours took their new puppy in the other day to get fixed. Was told it would be $70. Vet found a hernia and told them it wouldn't cost much more to remove it while he was in there.
