Our rabbit was sick and I was originally quoted $55 for initial visit, $100 if our rabbit needed to stay overnight, and a “little” extra for feedings and medication. My fiancé went to pick our rabbit up and they told her it would be $300 for everything. I would not recommend anyone to this place. Read Less

Wonderful staff, they fit me in when I needed a parakeet seen and they were incredibly understanding and compassionate when I had to make the big decision on euthanasia. The doctor and other staff members I worked with were all fantastic, the doctor was very knowledgeable and gave me comparisons with rats as they are what I am familiar with, I highly recommend this clinic for anyone with exotic needs. My wife and I have always taken out pets to All Creatures. This morning we went to take the dog to the daycare before our week long trip and they said her shots expired 2 weeks ago. I understand that Vet clinics are a business. But these people really take it to the extreme. They will charge you 50 dollars for a ‘comprehensive’ exam. Which literally translates to them sticking a digital thermometer up my dogs butt. Which I could have done myself for free. And on top of that they charge you for the actual reason you’re in there. And to place the cherry on your sundae, they’re rude and condescending to pet owners. Just save your money and time and go somewhere else. I brought my cat here for a diagnosis after he wasn't eating for two days. They quickly looked him over and said he needed some teeth pulled. I told the vet that he was 15 years old and I didn't want to put him in pain if he was going to pass away anyway. They reassured me he would be alright afterwards. After the surgery they said he had lesions in his mouth indicating kidney failure. They should have known this before he went into surgery and I'd rather put him down in a painless way. Instead, they had me take home my cat bleeding in the mouth for the whole day, too weak to stand, and he passed away shortly after. They never even called to follow up. This is experience was a nightmare and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. It's terrible to lose a family member and even worse to cause then unnecessary pain right before passing. Easily the best veterinary practice in the northeast region. Caring staff and and fully accredited and accomplished doctors. It's an actual animal hospital so most if not all procedures are available at this location. I have 4 cats and I wouldn't dream of taking them anywhere else. Prices are very reasonable and they will work with you. I've had more than a few emergency situations and they've always been able to accommodate. Full surgical staff and routine care available. I've never hesitated to reccomened them to anyone I know. I've never written a review before but I needed to write this. You'd be doing your pets a disservice by not taking them here. I brought in one of my sugar gliders because she had a infection in a tooth, they took care of her right away and she is doing great. brought in one of my other sugar gliders to get neutered and they did a great job. This place is a joke. My parents took their pets there for as long as I can remember. When my dad got sick the decision too oh their 11 year old Be able down had too be made, a very difficult decision. I called and made the appointment and my mom and I took him in. The receptionist proceeded to make my already heartbroken mother feel worse. Telling her we don't just put healthy animals down. He wasn't healthy , they could no longer care for him. Dr walker ever agreed that it was the best option. Then six months later we needed too take their Bassett hound in because his foot was bleeding a lot. When I called too get him in they told me to bring him and sit and wait and they may be able too see us. We ended up at the animal referral clinic where he passed away due too cancer. Something we had been trying too get diagnosed for a year. They now have a cat and I have four as well as dogs and have found a wonderful, loving and respectful vet. I've been taking my various pets here since 1998. I've tried a different vet on 2 different occasions when I moved farther away but I've always came back. The other vets didn't give me the care or services I received from All Creatures. Whenever I needed my animals to be seen right away they've always made time for us. I am actually reading reviews trying to find a new vet for my new kitty. I missed my old kitty so much I thought I would never get another pet. I've always had a furry friend and life has brought me another one. Anyway, the reason I have this new kitty is due in large part to this establishment. My cat was not easy for anyone to handle but me. When the vet was explaining that my cat had died in the process of being tested, lifted into some sort of place to put pets while there, (he motioned as tho he was putting a cat into something over his head) and that my cat was difficult to treat - We had been over that part REPEATEDLY. Why would you take a cat who hates people to begin with and lift it over your head to put it into some sort of box? What did he expect my cat to do, not react in a terrified and self defensive way? I could not help but think that if they had handled my pet differently and with more compassion he'd still be alive today. I obviously still feel this way and would like to warn anyone with a difficult furry friend to go somewhere else. These doctors do not care enough to work around it.Read Less

We have been taking our 12 year old lab buddy there for years. He got really sick a few months ago, the staff here helped us with everything. They didn't give up on Buddy. They tried everything in their power to help save him. They actually cared about him as well as us. Buddy unfortunately passed away during the night at our house. Once they found out about his passing they sent us a sympathy rose to our house. Once we got our puppy boomer they were all excited and they helped us with all the new puppy stuff since we were used to our 12 year old. I would recommend with clinic to anyone. This is the place to go in Appleton if you love your pets and are looking for peace of mind. I trust them completely with all of my pets and have done so for years. They are always extremely professional and caring no matter the circumstances. This is one area of my life where I don't have to worry because I know that they can handle whatever I bring to them. They take the time to really get know my pets and genuinely care for them. I have never felt pressured or hurried there. I can honestly say that they have always walked me through my treatment options and helped me to pick the path that I was most comfortable with. And I have brought some nasty situations to them... I have been taking my pets here for years and highly recommend them. I have a very large, extremely aggressive snapping turtle who is my baby. NO ONE touches him without my say-so. Dr. Orzel is the only one who can not only handle him expertly without getting bitten, she also is the only one who can handle him without overly stressing him. All of the vets see my menagerie and it doesn't matter if I bring in a budgie, a dog or one of my reptiles, they are all treated expertly and with respect. We are  new to the area and was referred to All Creatures by a family member. I stopped in and was told that since we were referred that the first office visit would be free. I made an appointment at that time. In filling out the paperwork, I filled in the part about being referred and by whom. When I was paying for the visit and work done, I didn't think about it at the time but I was charged for the office visit. The next time I went to the office I asked about being charged and they told me that if I didn't present "a card", I guess a referral card, that they would automatically charge for the visit. When I told them I had filled in the form showing the referral they said they don't read the form and I needed the "card". I asked if we could apply the free visit for one of my other animals and they said, "No, it has to be on the first visit." We have 3 dogs and several cats so I could foresee spending quite a bit of money there. I would think that they would value that over the $40 office visit but I guess not so much. Up until recently, we really didn't have any problems with this clinic.  Dr. Walkers customer service as of late has left a lot to be desired.  When he first examined our Chihuahua, he prescribed anti-inflammatories. Week goes by and her symptoms persist.  I expected to take her back in for X-rays, blood work or both.  Nope.  Just another prescription to deaden the pain.  Then when I call this morning because the prescribed meds weren't working, I'm referred to the Emergency Medical Center.  Well I think I'll just refer myself to a different vet. My cats unfortunately got into some ibuprofen and licked them but did not swallow any.The next day they started throwing up after eating or drinking anything. I took them into All Creatures and the doctor told me to make sure they are drinking water and come back in 2 days. Not happy with this we called our now current vet and they told us to take them into the Fox Valley Animal Referral center immediately. The referral center thought my cat would not make it, that we got them in too late. Luckily my wife's cat was fine after 48 hours. At that time they said they would keep my cat for one more day and if he did not show signs of improvement we would have to put him down. Luckily that last day he did make a miraculous recovery. During the time our cats were in the center I called All Creatures to cancel the appointment we had made. The receptionist looked up our files and said "OH! you have the pill popping kitties" With the status of our cats still in doubt at that time, we made the decision to leave All Creatures, the poor advice from the doctor and lack of empathy from the receptionist was too much. Our new vet(the one that gave us the correct advice to take them to the referral center) has been amazing and really seems to understand cat owners.Read Less

We recently moved to the area and have been searching for a new vet. (was with my previous vet for 19+ years) All Creatures is very close to our new home, so our family decided to try them out. Don't be put off by the location-or the somewhat dated interior...We have been very happy with the services we received on both our dogs and cats and think the staff is great.  I felt that the doctors were caring and no-nonsense--not trying to push additional services. They took the time to answer all of my questions and have gotten me in on a very short notice! Very happy with the all the doctors and the staff and would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area.
