The staff is informative and caring. That being said today is not the first time I've experienced displeasure at the front desk. When I choose a facility and spend 400 dollars on basic care for just one of my two fluffy friends I expect a degree of kindness that I did not receive. My cat Milo is horrible at the vets office. We hav even had vets not be able to get close enough to examine him in the past. Animal Hospital of Ashwaubenon has been great about going out of their way to make sure Milo gets the care he needs without getting as anxious as he usually does. They are very rude and disrespectful to clientele. They charged me for clipping my dogs nails without telling me and have made me feel ignorant about my animals that I've had for several years. I do not recommend them for anyone. My pets are my children and I won't stand to have my children treated poorly. They're careless and I always leave feeling stupid and paying for services that aren't relevant to my visit. It's just sad. Read Less

our 3 dogs have always gotten excellent care at the animal hospital of ashwaubenon. it is easy to see that members of the staff are true animal lovers. they are always able to accommodate our schedules with ease and fit us in when emergencies arise. after many procedures, the doctor would follow up with a phone call to check in on their recovery. the doctors take your needs and concerns into consideration when recommending treatment and provide options whenever possible. they were very sympathetic and caring towards us and our elderly dog when it was necessary to euthanize her. i cannot recommend a more professional facility with caring people. I brought my Dog here after she had been sick all weekend. I called ahead,  and explained her symptoms to the receptionist.  She said I should bring her in,  and was given an appointment time.  I arrived well ahead of my appointment time, I was greeted right away by the front office staff, and was asked to fill out general information. The waiting area is large, clean, and well-lit. As my Dog and I were waiting,  any staff member who noticed us smiled warmly. It gave me a reassuring feeling that we were going to be treated well. When we were called back to the ex as m room,  the vet tech took a quick assessment of her symptoms, and the stool sample that I provided. She said they would process the sample right away. A few minutes after she left the room, Dr. Barker came in. Right away he introduced himself and listened when I rambled on about her symptoms. He proceded to do an assesment. He was very professional, gentle, and took his time to listen to me and explain what he was doing.  He explained to me what he assumed the problem was based on the symptoms were, and said after the results from the stool sample are processed we will go from there. Not a minute after he said that he left the room, and came back with the redults. His assumption was right based on the sample. He told me the course of treatment needed. He took the time to explain the meds,  and the bland diet he recommended for my dog. The vet tech came in, went over the meds and we were escorted out.  The total for the visit,  shot, nail trim, and meds was reasonable in my opinion, and I would recommend this place to family and friends.
