My 8 month old pitbull pup decided to be bad and ate a sock. This caused a blockage in his intestines. Because of the blockage he stopped eating and could not poop. I took him to Dr. Annie at Madison Veterinary Clinic in Beloit, WI. Dr. Annie took an x-ray and confirmed the blockage. The same day she did surgery and removed the blockage and allowed him to come back him the next day. He is now back to his same old self and eating well and going to the bathroom. I must say Dr. Annie and her staff are very professional, caring, and courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Annie and the Madison Veterinary Clinic. She saved my dog's life. Thank you Dr. Annie and MVC. I haven't taken an animal here in years because of their crazy fees and overcharging and decided to try them again for a simple office visit since they are literally a mile from my house.  Big mistake.  The fee for the visit was double what they quoted on the phone and in my case didn't actually accomplish anything.  Go to the vet in South Beloit.  It's a 1/3 the price and he isn't looking to sneak in extras.  If you MUST go to Madison Rd then make sure to ask about specific fees and tell them not to sneak in anything extra BEFORE your visit. Today has been a hard day today my grandmas kitten lost his life due to being fixed at Madison rd vet. Last week on Monday he went in for normal surgery to be fixed on tue he was sent home. By mid week he was not doing great so by Friday they took him back and said he could not pee and he was running a temp. The vet gave him antibiotics and pushed fluids (did not be sure he peed before leaving) and sent him home. On Sunday he had 3 holes develop in his stomach area and loss use of his back leg. Went to emergency vet who clean wounds gave new pain med and new antibiotics and told them to come back or to go see another vet if he still did not get better. They let Madison Rd vet know about the issue not once did they offer to see him for free or to try to help at all. By wed he still could not walk so we took him to our vet that we use country view animal hospital and they kept him saying he had massive infection in stomach, leg was frozen and they had to cath him for him to pee. Today my family went to see Harley and talk to the vet and he could not stand at all on back legs, and infection was still there and he still was unable to pee on his own. The vet said they have no idea what happened during original surgery to cause such damage but there was no hope to making him better and we did not want him to suffer. I tell this story because I don't want another animal to suffer. I don't want another family to go thru what we have gone thru. Though the financial burden is high the emotion toll is a forever impact. I hope that this is shared so others are warned about what happened and can make sure this don't happen to their pets. I want to thank Countryview for trying everything they could to save Harley as he was not even a year old but in the end we knew we could not make him suffer any longer. I want raise awareness to what happened in Harley's name it's the least I can do for him. My original post was deleted cause they don't want you to see the truth about what their facility did to my grandmas cat but please be aware and take caution. We still miss him to this day RIP Harley! Even though time has passed we still will never give up the fight for Harley who was not even 6 months oldRead Less

I've been taking my male pitbull, Simba, here for a short amount of time but they've definitely made an impact that I can appreciate. Simba received shots and boosters from here and he boarded here for about 2 weeks when I went on vacation. He was due for a booster while I was gone and they asked my permission to give it to him while I was gone instead of sneaking and doing it. I could go on about the good experiences even in the short time we've been going but all around, they have great service at an affordable price and they definitely make you feel comfortable bringing in your furry babies. This place really cares about our babies. Dr Ray, Dr Annie and Dr Kristen are very loving and caring. They worked very hard to make my Westie Applesauce better. She was diagnosed with diabetes in February 2015. Sadly things went downhill quickly. We found 2 tumors on her pancreas causing her body to not react to insulin. We chose not to let her suffer. He was very sick from the time I bought him until I finally had to put him down 4 years later and about $3,000 dollars in vet bills later to 3 different vets. I was told he was healthy and would out grow his diarrhea problem, He never did out grow it and he stopped eating and started vomiting. I ended taking him to Prairie Animal Hospital and they took x-rays and found his intestines all twisted and told me there was no guarantee that he would survive the surgery.. I would highly recommend Madision Road Vet Clinic for all pet needs. In the past few months we have had two older dogs. Our Golden stroked out this past Nov, could not get anyone to respond on the emergency number at our former vet, called this facility...they were there in 10 minutes at 430AM. They were so kind and treated Hannah and our family with respect and love. Hannah had to be put down. They provided her to us a week later in a beautiul hand carved wooden box. Then Abby 13 1/2 year old yellow lab was in heart failure, also back in Nov. Again nobody anwered at the former vet emergency number. Again, we called this facility at 9PM at night and they met us in 15 minutes. Abby was treated and provided the professional care and medications to allow us to enjoy her company until today when we had to have her put down. Her heart was too enlarged and she could no longer breath effectively. Everyone at the facility today treated Abby and I like family. Dr. Ray is a wonderful, kind, caring man. I looked up and he was crying right along with me. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY FOR ALL PET NEEDS. They truely care and treat you as part of there family. By the way, my dogs were large dogs too, both of them:) Thank you Madison Vet Clinic, I will never forget how you cared for our loved ones. Read Less

I come back home from my 5 day trip to find out that they never gave her any treats, any of her toys, her blanket nor her bed. They just locked her up. She also came home with a broken blood vessel in her eye. Lost my business and will be speaking with owners about a refund! Read Less

We have always had great experiences with the vets and staff.. this week they went above and beyond, we were going to have to have our dog sedated to have his nails done, we dropped him off and 30 minutes later they called to let us know they were able to clip them without sedation. Not only did they save us money but my dog is older and coming out of the sedation is very difficult for him so I and extremely grateful to the staff and how well they cared for my dog. Read Less

I've never had a bad experience. Very upfront, friendly, clean, and loving towards pets and customers. (Toughest decision we've ever made). On May 7th 2015 we let our angel go. It was done with dignity and respect. Thank you Dr Ray for being there and helping me see this was the right thing to do! When our lab Chet was at the end of his time, Doc Ray was so kind and gentle, we couldn't have asked for a better man to be with, and the clinic sent us a condolence card with a lab on it that looks just like Chet did. I went to Madison Road Vet 6 years ago, I thought highly of them until they told me a bunch lies about my German Shepherd mix. I just want to say..THANKS TO MADISON ROAD VETS.. I Lost a damn good dog.. and they lost my services..Thanks for nothing!! I would NOT recommend this vet to anyone!!! Read Less

Read Less
