The wonderful, caring doctors at Elmbrook saved the lives of two of my dogs when they were quite young because they refused to give up on either one, enabling both to have long, wonderful lives. I will never go anywhere else for any of my dogs because of their wonderful care. I had just adopted 2 kittens. Within the first week of having them I took them to Elmbrook Veterinary Clinic for their initial 8 week old shots. One of the kittens had a health issue with his eye. In only a week with proper attention (via the clinic and myself) the health issue is gone. The entire staff has been wonderful, they have watched over both of my kittens on each work day that I have had to take the kittens there so the meds could be administered to them while I was/am at work. Everyone has been amazing towards me and especially towards the kittens. they gave them enormous amounts of attention. I love coming to Elmbrook.  I'm always greeted and they get me in right away.   Dr. Niemann is fantastic.  She really helped my cat Tinkerbell when she first had an eye-lid that was inverted.  There was another doctor that performed the surgery, and it went perfectly. A few years later Dr. Niemann helped her when she got cancer.  I had to take Tinkerbell in on the weekends at non-working hours and they always was able to get a doctor to come in to see her and give her fluids and check her out.   Dr. Niemann definitely extended her life.  And when it came time to put her down, she and the clinic were so wonderful and sweet.   We recently moved to Germantown but we still come here with our other two cats.  They take such great care of our cats. Very Professional and friendly staff. I moved away out of town and have looked at other clinics near me and just haven't found anything that felt right about coming.Appointments are easy to book. Prices are reasonable and my puppy doesn't feel nervous when coming or leaving.Staff communicates very well. I'll take the extra 30 mins to get up here. Thank you Elmbrook! Read Less

My cat was crying in pain.  The clinic got us in on a busy Saturday.  There was an issue, but it wasn't as serious as I thought.  They fixed her up and sent us home with instructions on how to care for her.  I give the clinic five stars for efficiency and cost. Read Less

Very happy with the service we receive here. We have 2 cats and a dog and I'm impressed with how they handled each one. The vet usually takes a little bit of time letting the animals get used to them before checking them out. They ask the owners about the animals and how they act. They're very open to giving advice to us, very receptive of our concerns and reassuring. The facility is kept up well and very clean. Read Less

Awesome and then some!!My cat Mia had a very large lump on her stomach & I was worried. I knew she had to go to the vet, but I was very hesitant on where I wanted to take her after my last, horrible, experience with a different vet clinic. My girlfriend posted something on FB about looking for a vet and a bunch of people suggested Elmbrook Veterinary Clinic.We decided to give it a go. I brought her in on a Friday morning to have her looked at. Right off the bat my cat adapted very well to her surroundings, which never happens with her. She was a bit scared but after a while she warmed up to it. Ginger took a look at the lump and gave me the run-thru on what they would do. She set up a kennel for Mia and by the time I left Ginger was able to hold Mia without her struggling, crying, hissing, etc. Mia takes a while to warm up to strangers so I felt very comfortable taking her to Elmbrook right away.After Dr. Niemann looked at her she called me & told me that it may be cancer and that we should get x-rays of her lungs to make sure that nothing had spread. Long story short, they drained the fluid, took x-rays & told me to schedule a surgery asap to remove the mass. The next Friday I brought her back in for the surgery, they removed the mass & I was able to pick her up that day. The surgery went well & after receiving a call from Dr. Niemann today, I was told that they were able to remove all of the mass & that this is the best outcome we could have hoped for! Mia should be just fine!!The staff there is friendly, knowledgeable & saved my cats life!! They are not super expensive either!! I can't explain how relieved and grateful for everything they have done!!I found a vet clinic that I am completely satisfied with and I will be bringing Mia AND her brother, Duke, in to Elmbrook Veterinary Clinic from now on!!Thanks!! Took our new pup here for the first time today and was very impressed! The staff was very friendly to both me and our puppy. Even though there was no charge for this initial exam the Vet spent a lot of time with us answering all of my questions. He helped me with training issues and with health issues. Before leaving we got one dose each of a heartworm pill and a flea and tick pill again, at no additional charge. The office was extremely clean and inviting. Read Less

Very happy with Paul Yehle, DVM. He's great with my dog and takes the time to explain things to me and answers my questions - very personable. I've had opposite experiences with other vets where they always gave me the short answer seemed like they didn't have much time to answer my questions.
