Great place to take your pet! They are friendly and knowledgeable! We rescued a dog and took her in to get her looked at. Dr Andy is awesome!

A little over 2 weeks ago my fiance emotionally upset took her precious Golden here to find out why he wouldn't eat. At which time anyone obviously could tell just by looking at him that he was quite Old (12.5) and Ill. But they proceeded to tell her to have x-rays and a battery of blood work done. Which was extremely costly. Only to tell her he was die-ing of kidney failure. Was all this necessary absolutely not. Blood work i understand, but x-rays shouldn't of been done until after the blood work was done showing just cause for them. I'm sorry but I believe in her state of mind she was taken advantage of. Then there was the cost of his cremation to follow. Sad to say but today she went to bring him home and the Paw-Print she was promised was never done. She is crushed! Loosing him was most difficult. But now the Frame she hand made waiting for his Paw Print will never to be filled. Advise to any one looking don't let your loved one go there alone!

Dr. Andy and his team provide great service. They gave us a clear overview with lab results for our cat to make the best decision for her. When waiting for lab results they checked in to ensure they were taking action and working on it for us. Among other details we had a awesome customer experience. My Golden got into some mouse poison and the staff at Bark River Animal hospital went above and beyond to help my girl! Thank you Bark River , I will tell everybody how wonderful you are!

I would highly recommend Dr Andy as a vet that anyone could trust. We recently adopted a golden retriever from WAAGR and had her in for an exam and he was very caring and gentle with her. We have been having Dr Andy care for our pets for the last 15 years. The staff at Bark River Animal Hospital are all very professional and caring. I will continue to take my pets to this clinic as long he is around. I read the previous review and can not believe any of this as being related to Dr. Runte.
