Very disappointed with my first and potential last experience with Pierce Vet Clinic. Overpriced and lack of empathy for customers who question additional charges. Attention to detail during exams from doctor is poor at best. Held my dog hostage until I paid invoice discrepancy.

Will never bring our pet there again. Over charged padding the bill. It's all about money here! Not your pet. You love your pet like we do and they'll charge you for it. What happened to reasonable cost of caring for your best friend. After care was suppose to be included in my pups ACL surgery at $3400.00. Picked him up. Found out he was left unattended during non-business hours with no supervision or pain control. When we questioned additional xray costs we were suppose to schedule there 2 weeks later. The woman there Gave me a snide look because we were upset and simply said. "we're sorry you misunderstood'. We'll get the after x-rays. But not there! They want to pad the bill? I'll pay somebody else for it. I'm not a vet but if the after care is important I have to do it for Bruce our pet. But not there! Never again!!

Great place to take my (overly anxious, not very well socialized, rescue) dogs, the staff are very friendly and patient. They've provided excellent care for my dogs over the years.

Pierce veterinary clinic is the only place I'll ever take my cats. The vet techs are wonderful and truly care about the animals as well as the doctors. They did everything to help my cat who had heart...
Pierce veterinary clinic is the only place I'll ever take my cats. The vet techs are wonderful and truly care about the animals as well as the doctors. They did everything to help my cat who had heart disease with her treatment. They made sure she'd live the rest of her days as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. They were always so kind and compassionate about the situation unlike other hospitals I've taken her to. I'd definitely recommend Pierce County Animal Hospital.

Dr. Jennifer came out to my farm yesterday for some horse dentistry. Years ago I had a very bad experience with horse dentistry, but this time my horse did not suffer any ill side effect at all! Dr. Jennifer was knowledgeable, efficient, gentle and was over the top wonderful to my horse (and me). I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a vet for their large animals. Thank you!

Dr.Heather is the BEST! The staff truly care about the fur babies and Rita is the greatest groomer..wouldn't trust my babies with anyone/place else!

Will never bring our pet there again. Over charged padding the bill. It's all about money here! Not your pet. You love your pet like we do and they'll charge you for it. What happened to reasonable cost of caring for your best friend. After care was suppose to be included in my pups ACL surgery at $3400.00. Picked him up. Pierce veterinary clinic is the only place I'll ever take my cats. The vet techs are wonderful and truly care about the animals as well as the doctors. They did everything to help my cat who had heart disease with her treatment. They made sure she'd live the rest of her days as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. They were always so kind and compassionate about the situation unlike other hospitals I've taken her to. I'd definitely recommend Pierce County Animal Hospital.
