I was told in May of 2017 that my dog had aggressive bone cancer and to expect for her to live for a week to two months. Ten months later it finally has come to light that she NEVER had cancer, and that Drs Koenig and Neff reviewed her xrays the day after her diagnosis and agreed that it was not cancer, but either never corrected the diagnosing vet (Dr Ahmad) or never made sure she corrected me. I spent nearly $500 in medications that she did not need, which could have put her liver at risk due to the high dose and long term use. My family spent days, and weeks in pain at the thought of our dog not being with us much longer. Yes, we are THRILLED that our dog is going to be okay but this is absolutely unacceptable on their part. I will never, ever step foot inside this clinic again and I suggest that if you're reading this, you don't either. We had been clients here for nearly eight years without a problem, but what a horrible problem to have. I've not received any sort of apology for what happened, in fact when stopping into the clinic today for a copy of her chart and invoices of what we have spent so that we can decide what sort of action to take, Dr. Neff came up to me and said that "he still felt really good about how things were handled." I use to love this place but it isn't as it use to be in the last few years. They are always 20 minutes to 45 minutes behind, when you come in they say a few minutes so you just sit there. If they at least said "hey we are 30 minutes out" you could leave and come back. Neff and Koenig are two of the vets around! I miss them being there all the time. Read Less

Very good animal clinic.  Very kind, courteous and very professional staff awaits you as you check in.  They know how people care about their pets as family and they treat you and your pets as such.  This is a very clean facility as well, which adds to the professionalism.  The veterinarians are very good at what they do and talk things over and let you know what to expect, and what is happening.  The communication is top notch and I think this is the best animal clinic in the Fort Atkinson area. Sadly, when faced with dying animal in intense discomfort/pain on a Sunday, we were told first that they would get a message to one of the Vets. When my wife explained that our regular vet (who did return our call from Florida) was out of town, she was suddenly told that no Veterinarians were available to be reached. Very nice, knowledgeable doctor who had my cat, as well as my wallet in consideration. My senior cat (rescue) had not been to a vet recently to my knowledge, and I was very pleased that I was not pushed to do or pay for anything unnecessary for her. I needed to clear up one matter before issuing a remark on Fort Atkinsons Animal Clinic.I wanted to see if folks here were very indeed happy w/ their services.I had seen that Finneyfox was extremely angry about her treatment at FAAC.You can tell she was really worried about her felines future & outcome.It must of all worked out in the end process because she did give FAAC a 4 star rating.So onto my review. I am a pet owner of 5 dogs & when it comes to any,I mean any! help w/ my dogs i always turn to FAAC.In just a few words,its very much intune w/all the updates & caring staff that i do not need to look any father for the diamond treatment of my dogs.Enough said. I have been going to this animal clinic for more than ten years, Dr Ness has came in especially for our families pet neccessities. They are the most caring people I have come across. This morning he came early because my beloved "Dre" was paralyzed, sad to say we had to let him rest. Through this difficult time, he and the loving staff were there for our sorrowed family. Hello, We had a beloved cat that was very old and he was sick and dying. I called the clinic on a Sunday afternoon and left a message. The Doctor called me back and we brought our kitty in on a Sunday and he gently and kindly put my kitty to sleep. The Doctor was very understanding of the situation and coming in on a Sunday was no problem. The fee was very reasonable we thought. We still go to this vet clinic and have always received excellent care. Their prices are reasonable too. We will contiune to go to this clinic. The staff and Doctors have always been fine to work with and knowledgable. I live in Madison and choose to continue to come to this vet. clinic because they are kind and caring to the animals and there prices are reasonable. Better than the big city vet prices. Read Less

These vets are only after money. I had to put down my cat who was suffering and he wanted me to wait until the next day when the office was open. He was NOT concerned for the cat's suffering. ONLY after I complained he was willing to meet me at 10:30p.m. to put my cat to sleep. He threw her in a box and handed her over to me. VERY EXPENSIVE, high medical costs compared to other area vets in Fort Atkinson, Whitewater and Janesville Read Less
