Caring friendly staff. Had 2 animals put to sleep here after a couple years of them being treated here. They were wonderful, and we really appreciated the private quiet room and separate exit, as well as letting other customers know to be quiet with a sign. Read Less

Very pleased. No wait. Friendly and kind. Understanding that I was very concerned about Sweetie and needed help. Dr. Riedhi did a complete examination, suggested what to do and will be reporting to me on results of testing. All the girls were a help, Katy, Laura and Michelle. Our Boxer was barely breathing when we brought him to this vet. When he wasn't responding to anything Ms. Skaletski PERSONALLY drove him to a referral office in Appleton which was better equipped. She personally drove our extremely sick dog to Appleton with helpers just to give our guy his best chance. I have never heard of a vet doing this before and I am extremely thankful for the tenderness and care which was shown. Read Less

I moved to Green Bay from the Twin Cities recently, and my 12 year old beagle was due for vaccinations. I got a recommendation from a friend and could not be more pleased! My experience with this hospital has always been fantastic. The last visit was truely touching. Not only did they help my cat get relief from matts, but helped us understand the issues with her blood panel and gave us more stuff to look up to better help my cat. Bay East is the only place in the area I trust with my dogs. Ive been to other locations and the level of care here is superior. The front staff is kind and caring and always smiling which makes you feel welcomed right from the start. Dr. Eastman has taken such good care of my dogs and they LOVE her!! They have never liked a vet before. That just proves what I already know, she takes exceptional care of them and always does and suggests whats best for them. I took my dog here for 10yrs. Recently we had to put her down. This decision was tough on my mother who was forced to be the person to make the call, as I was in California for work. Through the whole process they showed compassion and care to both my dog and my mother. But to top it off, they made a clay paw print of my Keira with hand written notes from each member of the staff. I didn't know they would do this and since I was in California when this process occurred, I never got to say goodbye. This allowed me to feel like I could finally touch a part of her and say goodbye and have closure. Thank you Bay East, you made my day and helped heal my heart a little more. I recently adopted a puppy who turned out to be a little "under the weather". He came to us with a very upset tummy, blood in his stool and mucus everywhere. I brought him in for a free complimentary first appointment. I was stressed and worried. I left feeling confident and prepared. The staff was kind and loving to my puppy. They looked over his file thoroughly and gave great advice. We left with meds and vitamins to help my puppy get in tip top shape. He is already feeling and acting much better! Thanks Bay East!!! I have a rather large mixed breed, and he struggles mightily with his visits when it comes to his yearly vaccines. That being said I am astounded and overjoyed when I see the extra time and effort the technicians take to manage Tucker's anxiety. The friendly staff up front always remembers us on a first name basis further proving the quality of care and attention to detail. Everyone involved with his visit today took a very respectful and proactive approach to my beloved pal with intentions only to make this a positive experience for my dog. I feel the prices for his care today were very reasonable and competitive with other animal care facilities in the area. Dr. Eastman and her staff are true professionals. I have been a client of Bay East for years and have had only professional and compassionate interactions with all staff.  Everyone from the people greeting and checking me in to the techs and vets are always willing to help in any way.  I have seen all of the doctors and have utmost confidence in the professional opinions of all of them.  When an emergency has come up, a slot is found to get me in.  When I had to have my dog euthanized, the doctor came in on a day off because it couldn't wait.  Extra research is done for me and literature is always available. Without a hesitation,  I would recommend Bay East.  The commitment to the animals' wellbeing is the most important concern.  Never have I felt that a short cut is taken that could jeopardize my pet's health.  In the same way, I don't feel pressured to take on more procedures than what's necessary.Cudos to a fabulous group of people helping me and my animals. I have to admit, I am as nervous a dog owner as any out there. I am probably a "problem" client. I own sighthounds, which can be difficult breeds, since their medical and emotional needs are a bit different than many other breeds.As such, I recently had services done for two of my dogs there. They are almost 8 year old Borzoi. Cooper had a dental cleaning, and Manero was neutered.Cooper's care was the utmost in caring. He had some dental problems, but they were rectified with much professionalism and caring. He recovered beautifully, and returned to his normal activities in a few days.Manero is a now-retired show dog, who was recently neutered. The staff fell in love with him (easy to do!), and treated him as if he were their own. His surgery was uneventful, and his recovery has been easy.I have to say, the fact that the staff touched as little hair as possible on each of these boys speaks to their care of the client. I HATE when vet clinics shave off the long feathering that does not need to be touched, especially for non-emergency services. Instead, Bay East's staff shaved a small square on the fronts of each boys' legs, not touching the long feathering on the back. This is going above and beyond, in my opinion!I also appreciate that the vet him/herself calls as the surgery is completed, to tell the owner how things have gone. This is also going above and beyond, as they could have a tech call instead (just as good - vet techs are highly educated!).All in all, I LOVE this place, and recommend it to everyone! Read Less

Dr. Zellmer is the best. When I recently took my cat in for her annual checkup, I discussed a problem she was having with using her litter box. Once Dr. Zellmer eliminated any medical problem through testing that would cause this, she explained possible behavioral reasons. She even followed up by sending me journal articles and suggestions in the mail. I am a very satisfied customer and I trust Dr. Zellmer 100% with the health of my kitty.
