This vet was AWESOME. The time came when we needed to end our little girls suffering and they made the experience very comforting. The rooms they have are very calming, with a bed for your pet to lay on and calming music. Thy gave us the time we needed and didn’t rush us. Staff are very un friendly and cold, and only seemed to care when money was involved! Didn't even ask my pup name, knowing my 7yr old baby was being put to sleep. The vet is nice, and seem honest. But I didn't even get a phone call to let me know my pup ashes was ready. When I picked them up, no eye contact, not even a smile...so relieved I stayed with my baby to the very end and didn't leave him to believe they would give him a caring peaceful end. Read Less

I would give staff an A for friendliness and a seemingly genuine compassion for animals. Groom was also good. Not the best, as my husky still had loose hair afterward, and when I go to Petco East, that never happens, but also better than any other vet grooming salon I've been to. Brought my pup in for his second grooming. I'm not experienced w grooming. But I do cut hair on ppl. It was a really bad cut. Even with the Groupon it was way too much for what I got. I'm so thankful for the staff here!! Called tonight because I noticed my cat was peeing blood. I asked if I could bring her in right away and they said yes. She was being seen by the doctor less than a half hour later. Every staff member you encounter here is friendly and helpful. I was relieved and comforted by the doctor taking the extra time to explain all the options and possibilities. I've never had a bad experience here!! This is the only place I'll take my cats. Hard sell on unnecessary ACL surgeries, conflicting diagnosis and treatment suggestions from Dr. to Dr. . We moved to Countycare and could not be happier. Similar experiences from a few close friends that have left there as well. It's apparent right away, this facility cares more about making profit and lacks the genuine care for your pet. We were seen as an urgent situation when our boy suddenly couldn't get up on his own without crying in pain. I called and was told to come in immediately. The staff was amazing and efficient. Found the problem and discussed options. My Bernese Mountain Dog, Andre, was scheduled for a total hip replacement and I went to visit him today, the day after his surgery. He looked wonderful and I was surprised how well he was already doing! I can't thank the staff and Dr. Dunbar enough for taking care of my boy. Will never EVER go back. They don't take the priority of the animals health and welfare into consideration... isn't that the primary goal and concerns of veterinarians?! Cancelling emergency life or death appointments and forcing us to go elsewhere to SAVE our pet's life while they had the time to post a mannequin challenge on Facebook and my dog was in pain but they weren't staffed enough to try and save her after we had an appointment! What a joke. Had my cat nurtured. Was thrilled with the staff and his recovery. Told him to bring him back in 4 weeks for a surgery Check. I was told this was included in the surgery. Makes sense to me. So dad forward 4 weeks. I take him in. I leave. I am chased down in the parking lot by the receptionist Natalie. "For not paying my bill. ". I go into explain why I don't have one. She tells me that she will have me arrested for being rude ( I was a bit irate at that point. ). I brought my new kitten in for a vet check not too long ago. The service was great. The lady behind the desk was amazing. She really helped me out with giving advice in how to get my older cat to warm up to my new kitten, who she despised at the time. Now they are two peas in a pod! Read Less

I took my cat here very recently for a second opinion. He has bladder issues for a few years now and doesn't seem to be getting better. My normal vet clinic just kept him on the same medicine and food and didn't seem to care or help much. I am so very glad I took him here. The vet was so great! So far all the dealings I have had with this Veterinary office have been good. Our little dog is temperamental in her own way. Every visit she would act all tough but they helped calm her to do what they need. Whenever we needed help with our pup they got us in pretty quickly. They checked her out and gave us good options that ranged in monetary value. Overall I am happy that we choose to us Packerland Veterinary. Read Less

Took my Guinea pig in to be seen, was lied to about a test the doctor claimed she was administering. She claimed she was testing for scabies and had only tested for fleas/lice. For a full week, my poor little Guinea was mopey and angry because I wasn't able to properly treat his scabies. Took him to an exotic specialist and he was diagnosed and set up for treatment. Wow. Some of the worst service ever! Got my dog fixed there last week and he developed a UTI. Then going to try to charge me hundreds for running tests not including the antibiotics for it. I had a few questions about his stitches and stuff as well and when I said I had a cheaper quote somewhere else the lady hung up on me! Seriously? I will never go there again or refer anyone to go there. He needs his stitches out next week but hopefully I can go somehwere else to take care of it because they have been so rude to me and my poor dog who is in pain from this infection.
