We’ve been taking our two cats and two dogs to these doctors for years. They have always been very professional and friendly. Our animals are comfortable and safe when they are here.

I was given a "free" exam and medication certificate from Perland Pet Store of Hales Corners when I purchased my puppy. When I set up my appointment they asked me to bring in a stool sample, seems legit. I check in and the receptionist takes the stool sample. Nothing has been said what they do with it, nothing. We go into the exam room and weigh the puppy and she tells me the Dr. will be in shortly to discuss the results of the stool sample tests they ran for worms (my puppy had every de-worming available, and I had the records to prove it) and for parasites. I said "You tested the stool? Ok." She said "yes, and it's $62 and Petland doesn't cover the cost." I was taken aback. This was supposed to be FREE exam. I never agreed to a stool test, I was never told they were going to test it, and $62?! To look at poo under a microscope?! Give me a break!! Scam. I left. Then they sent me a $62 bill. DO NOT Frequent this establishment. Overpriced and scammers. Read Less

Always pleasant experience for me and my pets. My parents have come here and I have come back with my pets. Would never go anywhere else. Always has the pet in mind first but gives honest advise too. Had a 6yr old cat that a vet said needed over $1000 for knee surgery. Came here and found out small dogs and cats can repair on there own, depend on severity of the tear. Left there with a cat that lived til 14 yrs!! Thank You!!! Read Less

This was the worst experience I have EVER had with a vet. Where to start... 1. The medicines Dr. Claire prescribed for my cat were extremely overpriced. When I told Dr Claire that I could get medicines for much cheaper he turned into the worst used car salesman I had ever dealt with and I received an unwanted lecture. After the unwanted lecture it seemed Dr. Claire did not want to give me the prescription so I could try to save myself some money by buying elsewhere. 2. Dr. Claire did not seem to know or care to tell me about side effects from medications and how to deal with them. My cat was diabetic and needed to be eating regularly to take insulin. Dr Claire put my cat on antibiotics that killed my cats appetite resulting in an emergency situation and extreme trauma for my pet. 3. I told Dr. Claire all along that my plan was to treat my cats diabetes myself at home because I am not rich and couldnt afford daily vet visits. He was very much against this and I believe treated me somewhat rudely because home treatment would take his profit away. I wish I had never gone to Whitnall Small Animal Hospital. The experience for my pet, my wife, and myself was horrible. Prior to visiting this vet I had done much research on how to care for my sick pet. I was treated in a very condescending manner by Dr. Claire just for asking questions. My cat was sick when I took her there and I never told Dr Claire that I was mostly unsatisfied with the service he provided and would be taking my business elsewhere. I still have not received a call from him to check on my cat which leads me to believe he does not care. It is of my opinion that the only thing that mattered to Dr Claire was me opening my wallet and emptying it into his pocket. There are other vets in the Hales Corners/Muskego area that I have tried, Whitnall Small Animal Hospital would be the worst..Read Less

Nice little place, the vet was able to correctly identify my dog's ear infection and the proper medication and treatment. My dog's ears are now healthy and infection free!
