So love this place, They are super good with my Animals, prices are ok, about Average, But they are friendly, and my dogs don't mind going there, and they didn't like going to there other vet close to neosho, country vet clinic, I use to like going there, But they are getting into more of the farm animals, and there staff is not as good as I like. The past few days have been a major roller coaster of emotions. I can't thank Hartford Animal Clinic enough for the dedicated service that they provided our pet cat, Ollie (and our family). After taking him to the Emergency Vet in Grafton late Thursday night we found out that he had an obstruction in his urethra and would require surgery. Unfortunately, it was too far out of our budget and we had to make the difficult decision to put our cat to sleep. The whole family was devastated. Friday night came and we took Ollie to Hartford Animal Clinic, where (through many, MANY tears) I was expecting to say good bye. As they prepped Ollie for crossing the "Rainbow Bridge" the Vet did one final exam on him and decided to try and remove the obstruction while he was heavily sedated. To our surprise, she worked her magic and was able to remove the obstruction...and we were able to bring Ollie home ALIVE. While, there are still a lot of things that could happen (his condition could relapse, so it's day to day), we have been lucky enough to have more time with him- and that is something I could never have imagined. Love all the staff, they greet me and my boy Merlin by name and have done a wonderful job with him every time I've been in. They truly go above and beyond your average vet clinic, even performing emergency services when possible despite not being an emergency clinic and always doing their best to find clients an appropriate emergency care facility or specialist if they are unable to help. The whole staff has been incredibly sensitive and caring every time I've visited. My daughter wants to be a vet and, last time we visited, Dr. Katrina encouraged her to help with the exam (listen to his heart with the stethoscope, hold him, feel his belly). Whenever we have concerns, the doctors and techs have bent over backwards to make sure we had all the answers we needed. From the receptionists to the techs and doctors, we've been treated with nothing but respect and compassion every time we have visited.The clinic is always clean and never too crowded. The people are great. The location isn't the most convenient but that is easily made up for by the experience once you get there. Read Less

On January 12, 2015 my wife and I had to put down our yellow lab Hunter. It was truly one of the hardest moments of our lives. Dr. Tim performed the procedure for us. He has been our regular vet since we moved to Hartford 5 years ago. I don't know if I can explain in words how kind and compassionate Dr. Tim was to Hunter, but also to my wife and I. His explanation of the procedure and his ability to console two hurting pet owners truly touched our hearts. I know he truly cares for the animals he works with and for that, I have great respect for Dr. Tim and all the staff at Hartford Animal Clinic. Dr Mark and his staff are amazing and very caring. He takes the time to explain things to you and does not run unnecessary tests. You can tell he loves his job. I have been taking my pets to them for almost 20 years. When I had to put my cat to sleep he was very caring and respectful so was the staff.
