Dr. Gilligan and his staff are amazing! They squeezed my dog in the day before thanksgiving and she had never even been seen there before. He saved her life by finding an Intussusception and just did surgery yesterday on her! They are so personable and truly truly care! North Lake Veterinary Clinic is wonderful! When our favorite vet of 15 years decided to leave her practice (and the practice prices continued to escalate) our beloved vet referred us to North Lake. The care we receive is exceptional! Aside from the every day cat and dog issues, they were able to assist in diagnosing a rare form of diabetes in our dog. We finally had an answer! They have also been there with compassionate care as we've had to say goodbye to two of our cats (18 and 19 years old, respectively). We just moved to North Lake and took both of our cats in yesterday. One of them is very anxious about the vet and has had problems in the past with vet visits. However, the staff at NL Vet were able to keep him calm, check a wound, get all the samples they needed and administer vaccinations. They also gave us some sedative for him for the next time, to make him more relaxed. I am so happy we switched to this vet clinic! Read Less

I would like to thank Dr.Gilligan and his staff at the North Lake Vet Clinic for their outstanding care, compassion and concern for our 11 year old yellow lab today. She had a large grape size mushroom type growth on the side of her nose and she tore it open today. They got us in promptly and removed the growth and took care of her and fixed her up all at a very reasonable rate and she is as good as new. I will be their spokesperson from this day forward.... Amazing! Everyone there is super friendly and always makes us feel comfortable and answers all of our questions, even when we think there silly lol we had a puppy who was the only one who made it out of 3 and the mom had to have an emergency C section and didn't want anything to do with the puppy because she didn't realize it was hers and the first one was still born :( so we took on the day old pup and had to bottle feed her(night feedings and all) just like a new born and we had never done this before with a puppy, but North lake helped us sooo much with learning exactly what to do for Meelavita means (Miracle life) to make sure that she would make it! She is now 3months old and quite the character! :) she's an amazing puppy and we love her to pieces! She always gets so spoiled when going to the vet, but with her cute little face it's easy to do! I am so happy a friend told me about North Lake Veterinay Clinic. We moved to Wisconsin 2 years ago with 3 cats and 2 dogs. One of the cats became ill sortly after the move and we took her to another clinic in the area. It was not that we were dissatifsied with the other clinic we tried but we were not impressed either. We had moved from Atlanta and felt we had better care there. When our cat continued to not improve a neighbor suggested we try North Lake Vet Clinic. Wow, what a difference. They not only cured our kitty but let us know how to prevent a future episode. What impresses me the most is how much they care and follow up on their patients. I received a phone call not once but twice checking on how well things were going at home when our kitty was sick. Since that time all of our pets have visited the clinic. Fortunately for mostly healthy stuff. We have had visits with both Dr. Oliver and Dr. Gilligan. They are both have the same caring spirit and both seem very up to date. One of our dogs didn't like going to the vet in the past but he seems to like everyone at North Lake. I think some of that is how sweet the office staff and nurses are to not only our pets but to us also. They always have a smile and really seem to love what they do. One fun thing they have there is a video screen in the exam room that shows you what goes on behind the sees like in Animal Planet. It even has a quiz.. My kids ask to go each time we bring the animals in. I thank my neighbor all the time for letting us know about this wonderful place for pets. Read Less
