This that has been helping our families animals for years from dogs to cats to horses. They have helped with the few losses we've had and were amazing although in August I lost my sixteen-year-old Pomapoo overnight and when I went in there was a complete mix up which made me feel worse about losing my little guy. Saved our cat's life. She had an unknown freak accident and we thought we would loose her. Dr Griffith worked on her, she spent roughly a week in the clinic and came home happy & healthy. Correctly diagnosed our other cat with diabetes & helped him regain weight. Correctly diagnosed and treated Lyme disease in our German Shepard by Dr. Griffith, at another time he also treated same GS for hot spots. Other vets that do farm calls for this clinic have always been on time, dependable with routine healthcare for our horses, and are quick to refer us to someone else if and when further diagnosis if needed in non routine situations. I just want everyone to know that this vet clinic is the most compassionate, caring, awesome place. We have had to put down two of our unconditional loving family members, our dogs, in the last 6 months. This place was simply put, Awesome! Very patient and kind. I just want to thank everyone at this clinic for the years that you cared for my Boo. That's Buddy, my golden , who just went to Jesus last Wed. The mobile vet experience was so personal and perfect. Dr."P" and amanda came to my house, and Buddy chose his spot outside. I feared the day when the time would come - because he did not like going to the vet (shots and the dreaded scale), and too many distractions. I cannot say enough about Jefferson Veterinary Clinic. We just received a sympathy card from Dr. Griffiths, just 3 days after we had to put our beloved black Labrador, Prince, to sleep. That is just so sweet. He was very caring and explained everything well while having to make the hardest decision. The vet technicians are all so amazing and helpful as well. Tonight was our first visit to your clinic. Our lab cut his paw petty deep on his walk and our regular vet didn't have time to stitch him up so I called around and no one else in Watertown would get him in! One of the clinics recommended we try Jefferson Vet Clinic. So I called and they were so nice and said to bring him right in. They were so professional and treated Hershey so great! I love JVC! From Deb at the front desk to the amazing Dr. Teeter and very sweet Dr. Brian, our entire family loves JVC. In the 2 years we have lived in the area, we have taken all of our 4-legged kids to JVC at some point. Some were planned visits and some were not. Dr. Teeter has the amazing talent to explain things in non-medical terms so we can understand them. She has compassion and love for animals. You can tell she truly cares about our kids. Dr. Brian came out to our home to help us with our 110# german shepherd when it was time for her to go over the rainbow bridge. We were a basket case and he was so calm and gave us the time and space we needed before making her go to sleep. He made an awful day better with his sense of caring. Last weekend we lost our 16 year old cat named Tricky to old age combined with some other medical conditions. She was able to be at home with us and went peacefully. At one time I only had 1 or 2 cats at the most. We now are down to 3 cats and a dog we rescued from the human society and my heart tells me will have more animals to come. The thought of expanding our family of kids is daunting but for the first time ever, I can tell you with the confidence of JVC behind us, anything we need for our kids are within reach. If you are considering transferring to JVC, do it. You will NOT be disappointed with the level of care, love, and compassion they offer.Read Less
