My 14 year old cat had what appeared to be a small puncture wound. I took him to Dr. Lori for antibiotics. She randomly cultured the wound. That culture turn out to be rare deadly fungus that left untreated would have killed him. Dr. Laurie cared for my elderly dog Brandi and tried to save her. but after a few weeks of being on meds, we decided to put Brandi to rest. My friend had a dog that had retained a puppy and needed emergency attention. She had an old bill she did not remember but offered to pay that bill and pay for the emergency spay in cash that day. Dr. Laurie refused to take care of the dog. One of her employees went into a breeding partnership with my friends ex-partner so we are suspecting this is the reason. My friend said, "You realize that my dog will die without help?" Dr. Laurie still refused to help her. REGARDLESS OF THE HUMAN DRAMA, DR. LAURIE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN CARE OF THAT DOG. My friend had previously spent literally THOUSANDS of dollars at the clinic before the "drama". Shame on Dr. Laurie for being willing to allow a dog to die because of human relations.....I WILL NEVER GO THERE AND I WILL SHOUT FROM THE ROOFTOPS ABOUT HER IRRESPONSIBILITY AND LACK OF COMPASSION FOR A DYING DOG!!!!!!! TOP NOTCH!! The Vets and the staff are amazing and obviously care about clients and their people!! We are adopting 2 little kittens from a rescue the team has been whole heartedly involved in.
